Monika begins a ruthless genocide of everyone in the Underground, and it's up to a bunch of famous indie game characters to band together in order to save the entire multiverse from destruction.

* DefeatMeansFriendship: Applied many times over throughout the course of the story. Many characters who have been corrupted by Monika's influence are un-corrupted by being defeated in battle, after which they are more than happy to join the ery team they lost to.
