* AndroclesLion: Early in his adventure, Zach rescues a baby hawk from its nest. When he returns to the village as a wolf, the baby's father provides information for him and Midna.

* BrickJoke: Zach and Midna escape a Shadow Beast pen early on, then come back to the same area later to find that the Shadow Beasts are still there lurking about. Another example is when Midna applies some makeup while Zach is investigating Coro's house at the beginning of one chapter. Come the end of the chapter and it is revealed that she even put makeup on the eye her helmet was blocking.

The story begins with the Three Golden Goddesses fighting against a single person who decimates them to the point that Nayru is the only one left. In her desperation, she casts a spell that traps the being in a temporal orb at the cost of her own life. Meanwhile, several years backwards, the Three Golden Goddesses contact a 19-year-old named Zach to go on a great quest through Twilight Princess' events to save Hyrule... from his future self, who is now apparently free from his prison and wants revenge.
