** By WordOfGod, the whole sequence of Mayumi sneaking in (and fighting her way out) of NERV is an extended homage to the ''VideoGame/BatmanArkhamSeries'' (specifically the "Predator Challenge" rooms).

** Batgirl's costume broadly resembles the outfit of the [[{{ComicBook/Batgirl2000}} Cassandra Cain]] Batgirl (with full face cover, because of Mayumi having a mole on her face which could blow her identity wide open), with the abilities of the ''WesternAnimation/BatmanBeyond'' [[PoweredArmor Batsuit]] and additional gear straight out of the ''VideoGame/BatmanArkhamSeries'' (like [[EverythingSensor "Detective Vision"]]).

* ClothesMakeTheSuperman: In addition to her UtilityBelt, Batgirl wears a suit of PoweredArmor that is ImmuneToBullets, grants SuperStrength, and has built-in NightVisionGoggles and an InvisibilityCloak.
