* CruelAndUnusualDeath: Scar Snout and a family of two V-Wolves who attacked the babies and the truck and fought Reptar and Spike all suffered gruesome deaths: the Juvenile V-Wolf had its skull crushed by a giant rock thrown by Reptar before sending it off the cliff. The Bull V-Wolf gets its large jaws forced open until they snap apart by Reptar, before fully crushing the V-Wolf's skull with his mighty arms. Scar Snout gets his head slammed and crushed against a cliff face during the vine battle while attempting to eat the riders in the attraction. Scar Snout, and the Juvenile V-Wolf at least had quick deaths, but the Bull V-Wolf must have perished in absolute agony.

* AdaptationalHeroism: The Reptar gets this to an even bigger extent than the film (he appears as a Reptar Wagon) the ride is based off of; as here he defends the riders from the attacking V-Wolves despite not really having any motivation for doing so.

A fanmade fandom attraction named Rugrats: Legend of the Reptar, is an is a multi-sensory, trackless, 3-D motion simulator, and multidimensional ride that opened at various Paramount Theme Parks. The attraction takes place in an alternate continuity where the existence of Skull Territory is made public years during the events of the 1998 film The Rugrats Movie took place, which eventually leads to an expedition of the territory being set up and broadcast to the world.

The queue of the attraction begins with guests wandering through the territory's native tribe, along with several close encounters with the natives themselves. From there, guests board a large expedition transport vehicle and head off on an exploration of the territory. The ride descends into numerous close and dangerous encounters with the many different species of the territory, such as a swarm of flying big vultures and Black Alligators, which eventually leads to the climax where guests are pursued by a band of the Circus Monkeys from the film before finding themselves in the middle of a battle between a V-Wolf trio, Spike the dog, and the real Reptar himself.

!!Tropes shown in ''Rugrats: Legend of the Reptar' include:

* ActionGirl: Beth, one of the expedition crew members, certainly falls under this as she's able to hold her own against a herd of Black Alligators and some of the territory's other dangerous species with a gun and a machete.
* AdventurerOutfit: Most of the characters in the ride wear 30's-style Archaeologist uniforms, with leather jackets, long pants, and large boots.
* AdaptationExpansion: The ride serves as a much-extended version of the ''Rugrats: 360 3-D'' sequence that's on the Paramount Pictures Tour at Paramount Park Hollywood.
* AdaptationalHeroism: The Reptar gets this to an even bigger extent than the film (he appears as a Reptar Wagon) the ride is based off of; as here he defends the riders from the attacking V-Wolves despite not really having any motivation for doing so.
* AlternateContinuity: The ride, while based heavily on the 1998 film, is set in a different continuity where the existence of Skull Territory is made public years during the events of the film took place and an expedition in a territory is being broadcast to the world.
* AlwaysABiggerFish: The climax begins with a band of Circus Monkeys from the 1998 film chasing the ride vehicle, only for one of them to soon get eaten by the Bull V-Wolf while the rest flee in fear.
* BatOutOfHell: The first monsters encountered during the ride are a flock of bat-like creatures.
* BehemothBattle: A staple of almost everything Kong-referencedrelated, the entire climax of the ride has the guests being right in the middle of a battle between Reptar, Spike the dog, Scar Snout, and the 2 V-Wolves that's very similar to the one that occurs in the movie.
* BigBad: Scar Snout, again.
* BigDamnHeroes: The big dinosaur himself shows up triumphantly to save the riders from the V-Wolves.
* BloodlessCarnage: There is no visible blood in the attraction (though you do see some of the insects' guts get splattered), even with how brutal Reptar's fight with the V-Wolves get.
* CaveMouth: Though not on the outside of the cave, there's a few parts in the cave caverns where you pass through giant stone cave.
* CrowdChant: The territory's natives can be heard chanting, "REPTAR!" in the distance as the ride vehicle enters the territory's cave, as well as in the queue line when the native witch performs a ritual around the big dinosaur
* DamageProofVehicle: Even with the extreme amounts of abuse the Reptar Expedition Transport vehicle goes through in the big battle with it getting rammed by the territory creatures, it still manages to come out completely unscathed and fully functional at the end. There's even several moments where Reptar climbs right over the vehicle, and the roof somehow does not collapse in under his weight.
* DamselOutOfDistress: Despite getting picked up by the Dimetro Vulture, Beth puts up a fight and slices her way out of its grip, and later is able to take on a giant pit of the island's insects all by herself.
* DeathGlare: At one point in the queue, there's a native that gives a very long one to the guests walking by.
* DevouredByTheHorde: The Dimetro Vulture winds getting eaten by the Black Alligator when it gets stuck in the pit.
* DisneyVillainDeath: Scar Snout and the Juvenile V-Wolf are killed when Reptar tosses them down a cliff.
* EverybodyLives: All of the Expedition members, and the Rugrats (who are found by their parents) are shown or are said to have survived at the end of the ride. The only ones dying are the monsters that attack the guests.
* EverythingTryingToKillYou: While this is to be expected with Skull Territory, it is made no more apparent anywhere else than in this ride, where guests encounter the worst of what the territory has to offer within a span of just ''six minutes''.
* FromBadToWorse: The journey first starts with the guests narrowly avoiding a Dimetro Vulture and other flying creatures, then they end up getting swarmed by a huge pack of Black Alligators and Anthro Piranhas, ''then'' get chased by a band of Circus Monkeys, '''then''' get attacked by a trio of V-Wolves, which escalates into an intense battle between them, Spike the dog, and Reptar that results in the guests getting sent over a cliff before being saved by the dinosaur.
* GiantSpider: When the ride vehicle is hanging on the vines, a giant spider briefly appears on one side of the vehicle.
* IslandOfMystery: The mystery of Skull Territory serves as the entire driving point of the ride's premise, with the Eighth Wonder Expedition Co. journeying to the island in order to unravel said mysteries.
* {{Jawbreaker}}: As to be expected with Reptar, he kills the Bull V-Wolf by snapping its jaws apart in the climax.
* KidnappingBirdOfPrey: A Dimetro Vulture snatches up Beth and flies off with her for a brief moment before she cuts free.
* LaserGuidedKarma: Shortly after attempting to kill Beth, Dimetro Vulture the ends up falling into a pit where it is slowly devoured by the Black Alligators.
* MacheteMayhem: Kate uses a machete to slice off the Dimetro Vulture's leg in order to break free, then soon after uses it to decapitate a couple of Carnictus worms.
* MatteShot: In a rather unique non-film example, the "mountain valley" behind the attraction's facade is essentially a matte painting.
* MuckingInTheMud: When the Dimetro Vulture lands in the bug pit, the mud renders it completely helpless before the Carnictus worms.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: When in the cave, the crew attempts to get some light in by throwing a flare. This ends up causing all of the cave's creatures to swarm around both them and the ride vehicle.
* NoOneGetsLeftBehind: When Beth insists that the guests leave her behind, the driver refuses to leave without her. The decision is then taken out of their hands when Beth gets grabbed and pulled away by an giant paw.
* NothingButSkulls: Several piles of animal skeletons can be seen throughout the queue line. [[note]]It's Skull Territory, what else were you expecting?[[/note]]
* OffWithHisHead: In her struggle against them, Kate beheads two of the Black Alligators with her machete.
* ThePrecariousLedge: The riders are put up against a cliff edge during Reptar's battle with the V-Wolves. The weight of the ensuing fight results in the cliff edge crumbling apart.
* RaptorAttack: As mentioned previously, the climax starts with the guests being pursued by a pack of Circus Monkeys.
* ReportsOfMyDeathWereGreatlyExaggerated: Although it initially appears that Beth gets killed by one of the giant creatures, at the end of the ride she sends a radio transmission, stating that she was able to make it out alive.
* SceneryPorn: The attraction goes to great lengths to recreate some of the sights of Skull Territory as seen in the 1998 film, and the results are quite dazzling.
* ShoutOut: The final scene of the ride has guests coming face to face with a giant animatronic of Reptar.
* SuperPersistentPredator: Until Reptar finishes them off, the Scar Snout fails to get the babies but never stops when he falls down the spider pit in his attempts to kill the riders, despite how increasingly dangerous the situation gets.
* {{Tagline}}: "His reign begins."
* TakingYouWithMe: When Scar Snout is dragged by Spike and is about to fall down a cliff like the 1998 film, he accidentally bites onto another Reptar truck and accidentally drags it along for the fall as the babies watch in horror to Spike falling off (he survived the fall like in the 1998 film).
* ThisIsNoTimeToPanic: When the riders are met with a band of Circus Monkeys, the driver urges everyone to remain calm, but when one of them snarls dangerously close to the guests, the driver puts the vehicle into full speed.
* VineSwing: A more unusual version of this occurs when the vehicle is sent down a cliff and gets tangled in a bunch of vines. The weight of the vehicle makes it swing back and forth between both Scar Snout and the Reptar.
