* AdaptationalExplanation: The incident with the mystery palace the Phantom Knight is encountered in solves the idiotic moment from ''VideoGame/Persona5 Royal'' revolving around Maruki's Palace (for context, after Ren and Morgana find their way in thanks to Kasumi, they never make a follow-up investigation until it's almost too late). Here Makoto ''does'' try to return to the Palace almost immediately after recovering from the fight, only to find the name has been censored, making it impossible for the Metanav to reach it again.

* {{Foreshadowing}}: At the very beginning of the Kamukura saga, Monomi mentions that her Persona, Mr. A, has the ability to search for things within the Metaverse, and communicate with her teammates from a distance. However, since its main ability is combat and healing, this is an aside thing, and she mentions that someone's Persona can have fully supportive abilities if they have a strong desire to help others. Later on in this same arc, Chiaki Nanami awakens to Alexey, a Persona that is exactly what Monomi describes.

* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: The story's fourth arc makes multiple references to Chiaki and Hajime's friendship. Chiaki tells Hajime that while they are ultimately limited to their talent, Hajime can be anything, thus having a talent isn't really that amazing. Despite this, Chiaki doesn't seem to be able to connect with Hajime because one of his major defects is his low self-esteem. Tragically, he takes on the endeavor because he believes he must genuinely improve in order to earn her friendship and possibly more. But Chiaki finally succeeds in reaching him during the last battle in Hajime's Palace, and Hajime awakens as a Persona before expressing regret.
