[[WesternAnimation/TheOwlHouse Luz]] and [[WesternAnimation/{{Amphibia}} Anne]] are transported to the Boiling Isles, but for Luz, it becomes abundantly apparent that this is not the same Boiling Isles she knows. Everyone fears her or outright hates her. And for some reason, Amity is spouting something about taking responsibility while trying to kill her!

Meanwhile, Anne is found by the W. A. Ts. (Witches Against the Throne), and it is here she is informed that Luz has become the evil Empress Oscura, and has turned the Boiling Isles into her domain of darkness.

Can Luz find out the truth about what's happening in this alternate world? Will Anne have to take down her friend? And all the while, the true darkness of this world is watching and waiting for her moment to strike.
