After learning that he--along with the fifteen other teens staying at Hiroishiya--was invited to an ultimate academy that he knew very little about with the illustrious title of SHSL Reformer, Monokuma arrives to announce his intentions to begin a killing game on Hiroishiya's grounds. His goal is to indoctrinate the ultimate students into a future in service of despair using a mutual killing game. From thereon, Teshima and his classmates must try their best to resist Monokuma's despair and search for the secret underlying Hiroishiya's foundation.
