Most people won't know much about Midoriya Hisashi, other than that he has a fire-breathing quirk and is working overseas to support his family.

Not as a mere pencil-pusher in some corporate office, though.

Rather, an established pro-hero who was sent abroad as part of a mission to take down a cult hell-bent on overthrowing the American government.

However, when the operation goes wrong, Hisashi lays dying, despite medics working tirelessly to save him. In his final moments, he makes a wish, for his beloved, hero-loving son, who has yet to manifest his quirk, to be able to achieve his own dreams someday.

Across the globe, young Izuku is defending a peer from being bullied by Kacchan and his lackeys. When he becomes the target, a wish made by the father he never knew is fulfilled.

Fire becomes water, a father's love transcends time, space, and life itself, and Izuku rises like a dragon soaring to the heavens, wielding the power of storms and wind, opening the pathway to his own form of heroism.
