Perhaps he’s more a blank slate than he thought he’d be at this age, but it’s still so much better than the alternative. No reputation is definitely better than a bad reputation, and he doesn’t just have Kyoko, he has Brother and Hana, and…sort of Hibari, he guesses. It’s not perfect, but he’s happy, and not everyone can say that. Besides, without some kind of gigantic shift in his life, he doubts anything could really make it any better.

* EverybodyIsSingle: Actually fixes canon. Rather than the 'canon couples' of Tsuna/Kyoko and Tsuna/Haru, this fic shows them to be normal thirteen years old.
* EveryoneIsBi: Most characters have no qualms kissing someone of the same sex. Especially Tsuna, regarding his curse.

** ThirdLawOfGenderBending: ''Averted'' While the other characters make use of Tsuna's body to act out where their required roles wouldn't allow them, Tsuna's uselessness is being wound away...to get what, he doesn't know.
* GirlyRun: Tsuna has to perfect this if he needs to play Kyoko well. Nana uses this to tell that Tsuna has swapped with Kyoko.
* IntelligenceEqualsIsolation: Hana may have done this to herself until she met Kyoko. She intends that Tsuna step away so that she can fulfil the role of being Kyoko's best friend. Luckily, it doesn't get too far when Kyoko reveals Tsuna's bodyswapping capabilities.
* InformedAbility: Tsuna doesn't know this, which is why he fails to make use of Hibari's body adequately when facing off against Kyoko's bullies.
* InTheBlood: Tsuna's curse/body swapping ability is inherited from Nana's side. Also applies to canon, as he inherits his Vongola claim from his father. Reborn dissuades them from swapping with another random person, as Tsuna's Sky Flame is rare. [[spoiler: One wonders if Xanxus might be willing to do the switcheroo...]]
* InvisibleParents: Averted. Nana accepts the body swap, and dissuades Reborn from trying to ban it. However, apparently the Sasagawa parents, the Kurokawa parents, and the Hibari parents don't notice that their children have been injured, or swapped with someone else.
* LastNameBasis: Everyone towards Hibari.
* LossOfIdentity: Tsuna is gradually experiencing this as a result of the body swapping.
* LoveConfession: Mochida manages to make this awkward to an art:
** Kyoko has been consistently rejecting his advances.

* MagicAIsMagicA: Hana attempts to establish this for the curse. They find out new facets of it as more incidents pile up.
* MagicKiss: How Tsuna uses his powers.
* ManIFeelLikeAWoman: Tsuna and Kyoko panic when they see themselves in each other's body. The author comments that it might have been established as a dream by the two of them had Kyoko not wanted to do it again.
* MuggleBestFriend: Kyoko and the rest have no powers. Doesn't mean they don't know how to utilise Tsuna's powers to the full potential. Don't expect this for long though, Dying Will Flames are being introduced.

** Kyoko and Tsuna at five years old. Both of them panic. Ryohei is ''furious''. The Sasagawas are a little upset. Nana is pleased.
** Ryohei: While he is sleeping, Tsuna steals a kiss in order to re-swap with Kyoko in order for Kyoko to confront her brother's seniors.
** Hana: In an argument about [[TheReveal how to break it to Hana]], Tsuna ( in Kyoko's body ) kisses her to convince her. Hana is disgusted, then thoughtful.
** Hibari: Attempting to protect Kyoko and Hana, Tsuna resorts to this. Hibari is about to bite Tsuna to death until he realizes that he can evade patrol. He then uses it to his advantage.
** Gokudera: [[spoiler: To protect Gokudera, Tsuna attempts this. A shocked yet grateful Gokudera attempts to swap back only for it to fail. Hana teases him over it.]]
** Yamamoto: Tsuna has been attempting to kiss him, but others have been attempting to dissuade him from doing so. [[spoiler: His Dying Will Mode promptly does that, and Yamamoto experiences one day without having to be the baseball ace.]]
* SanityBall: Hana thinks she is holding this. Tsuna is this on occasion.
