The event's insane long rep grind, the lack of replay value once you get the grind done and the general simplistic gameplay led to a generally negative reception among players and this moniker being applied to the game mode as a result.

* Pally - Any Paladin. Belfadin refers specifically to Blood Elf Paladins. Also "Gayladin" for [[CampGay Male Blood Elves]] and "Beefadin" for Tauren paladins. Paladins have been given [[MemeticMutation many nicknames]]; some pointless, other less so; involving '-adin'. This probably started from VideoGame/{{Diablo}}.
** Tankadin/Protadin - Paladins that focus on the Protection talent tree. Healadin for healing pallies, and Retadin (or the pejorative Retardin) for damage-per-second paladins (a spec that at least until Cataclysm had a bad reputation for requiring little skill to play). An older variation of Healadin was Clothadin, thanks to the fact that holy paladins usually performed better in cloth items (rather than plate) in raids in vanilla [=WoW=]. And "shockadins", an extinct form of half holy (down to holy shock) and ret, which basically made them powerful ranged casters as well as melee. May still be used for players doing damage in Holy spec.
* Rouge - A common misspelling of "rogue;" may be used ironically. [[MemeticMutation It should be noted that rouges are]] [[IncrediblyLamePun overpowdered.]]

* Dragon Mom - Alexstrasza, for being the mother of the Red Dragonflight and her maternal behavior towards the rest of Azeroth in general.

* Dragonlands: A similarly derogatory term for ''Dragonflight'' given by players who assumed from pre-release news that it would have most of the same flaws as ''Shadowlands'' despite Blizzard's attempts to prove that they've learned from their mistakes made during that expansion.
