* HatesMySecretIdentity: It goes back and forth with Jack/Rabbit. Rabbit is initially mistaken for an akuma and then for a villain in her own right after causing a lot of damage to a Paris neighbourhood, but Jack, while initially an outcast (an American transfer student with a limited grasp of French), gains some popularity from her classmates after helping save Adrien from an akuma out of costume. On the other hand, while Ladybug knows that Rabbit is a good person, Marinette spends several chapters hating Jack out of misguided jealousy, believing she's interested in Adrien. When Marinette finds out Jack has a boyfriend back in the US, she apologises for her behaviour and she and Alya (who has since become a Rabbit supporter) make friends with her - just in time for Rabbit to screw up again and lose a lot of Ladybug's trust in her. {[spoiler:However, they're on good terms by the end of Chapter 9.]]

* ArbitrarySkepticism: Members of the media and people of Paris seem confused and not sure what to think about Rabbit, despite this taking place in the information age and Rabbit having a well-publicized career back in Los Angeles. Admittedly, she has caused a lot of damage thanks to her power swap with Perro Negro, but given that she and her partner helped found "Positivity Clubs," and that Rabbit has actual fans who take offense to Alya's videos, it's somewhat odd that she's remained a mystery to Paris.

* ArousedByTheirVoice: Perro Negro's voice is described as, "the kind of velvety voice that made you feel safe and protected. The kind that made you fall in love."

* ArousedByTheirVoice: Perro Negro's voice is described as, "the kind of velvety voice that made you feel safe and protected. The kind that made you fall in love."" Though admittedly, said person describing his voice is Rabbit, who is already in love with Perro, so there's a good chance of bias there.

* GreenEyedMonster: As in canon, Marinette's crush on Adrien can bring out the worst in her, and this time it's not directed at a jerk like Chloé or Lila but the completely innocent Jack, who had become friends with Adrien after he offered to show her around Paris and tutor her in French. At first, she just treats her coldly without explanation, both as Marinette (after she approaches Marinette for help with an outfit on Adrien's recommendation) and as Ladybug (after she saves Adrien during the Femme Defamation attack), but it also leads to a rift with Alya when she wants to interview Jack for the Ladyblog the next day. After a few weeks of this, Marinette schemes to set her up with a replica of Chloé's favourite outfit. When Alya and Marinette find out that Jack has a boyfriend back in the US, they both scramble to prevent her "social suicide", and Marinette admits that what she did was wrong and would still have been wrong even if she hadn't misread the situation with Adrien.

* DidntThinkThisThrough: A recurring flaw of Jack/Rabbit, Jack/Rabbit - it's pointed out repeatedly that she usually has good ideas but they tend to backfire because she doesn't think through all the consequences, starting with her decision to use the Rabbit Miraculous and draw out Omega in the first place, which caused him to send Trumpeter Swan to Los Angeles. A standout moment It comes to a head when she uses Dogstruction to free Chat from Sequana, Sequana and causes a lot of damage to the Seine riverbank, believing it was the their only option. Ladybug is quick to tell her that no, it wasn't, since she hadn't even used Lucky Charm yet. [[spoiler:She's been getting a lot better since then, learning to consult with Ladybug and Chat Noir in advance.]]

When Alya and Marinette find out that Jack has a boyfriend back in the US, they both scramble to prevent her "social suicide", and Marinette admits that what she did was wrong and would have been if she hadn't misread the situation with Adrien.

To her credit, she does scramble to get Jack out of trouble when she finds out about Diego, and it takes a few chapters for her to get over her guilt about her actions.

* AnswerCut: Towards the end of the HowWeGotHere section of Chapter 6:
-->'''Chat Noir''': So, LB. What's the plan?
-->'''Ladybug''': (''To Rabbit'') The plan was for you to gain Cottontail’s trust, figure out her weakness, and lure her away from Alya so Chat and I could rescue her. What was so hard about that?

Added DiffLines:

* UnspokenPlanGuarantee: Played with when Ladybug's plan for Cottontail is only stated after we've seen it fall apart. Played straight with her second plan.

* DudeWheresMyRespect: Rabbit starts feeling this after a while when it becomes apparent that a lot of people would rather face an akuma than see her coming to the rescue. It should be noted that, aside from her Dogstruction-related screw-ups, she actually has a better track record than Ladybug, since she and Perro seem to have been fighting a lot longer, they never let an akuma get away the way Ladybug did with Stoneheart, and they managed to track down and defeat their nemesis Trumpeter Swan (if not quite in the way they wanted to) while Hawk Moth remains hidden. But there's no indication the Paris media are aware of this.

* HeroicBSOD[=/=]TenMinuteRetirement: During the first chapter, Jack ends up broken enough by her first day at school and by her disastrous "rampage" as Rabbit that she takes off her Miraculous, sits down and waits for the inevitable akuma, deciding she's not going to resist it this time. Luckily, Adrien comes in and pulls her out of it with his kindness, and she puts the watch back on after Adrien picks it up.

* AccidentalMisnaming: Rabbit routinely calls Chat Noir "Cat Noir", apparently unable to pronounce ''Chat'' properly at first. He corrects her the first time, but seems to accept it later. [[spoiler:Becomes a plot point when Perro Negro does the same thing but the Chameleon holder impersonating him doesn't, which is what convinces Chat Noir that "Perro" is an imposter]]

Specifically, "Perro" brings up the idea of designing a statue of the two of them in Grand Park, before asking Pierre to introduce them to Theo Barbot, his rival who got him akumatized in the first place. "Perro" then takes the abuse way too far, eventually driving Pierre out of the studio in tears and foiling their plan to get the akuma before it corrupts him again. Rabbit uses this to figure out Perro was an imposter.]]
