Whereas the Forsaken work to carry on the duty of Father Wolf and make sure spirits don't fuck with humanity (as penance for, you know, murdering him because he was getting old and slowing down on the job), the Pure are pissed that their spiritual paradise got shattered and want to avenge themselves on the Forsaken while earning the favor of old and terrible spirits; needless to say, neither the Pure nor their patrons give much of a shit about humanity. Which means it says a lot that the Pure are willing to work together with the Forsaken to deal with Bale Hounds, werewolves who have given themselves over to incarnations of sin and who work to corrode the spiritual nature of reality.
