* Most of the reviews have praised Valkyrie as one of the best parts of the film, to the point where some even claim she overshadows the film's other new additions like Skurge and even Hela. The reaction was enough to give Tessa Thompson the courage to suggest to Kevin Feige that there could be a movie about herself, Black Widow, the Wasp, and Scarlet Witch teaming up, and a version of her to be made a pseudo-CanonImmigrant via the relaunch of ''[[ComicBook/Exiles2018 Exiles]]''. Thompson even received a UsefulNotes/{{BAFTA}} Rising Star nomination and a UsefulNotes/SaturnAward Best Supporting Actress nomination after her performance.
* To no one's particular surprise, The Grandmaster pretty much grabs the movie by the neck and runs away with it despite not having that big a role in the plot, since he's pretty much Creator/JeffGoldblum [[HarpoDoesSomethingFunny being Jeff Goldblum]].

* Shuri, the GadgeteerGenius for providing some of the most genuine laughs in the movie. She's gotten a good bit of support for becoming the new ''Film/IronMan'' if Creator/RobertDowneyJr leaves the franchise.

* Scarlet Witch has only a handful of scenes, but is absolutely beloved by audiences for her memorable, badass, and ''extremely'' satisfying [[CurbStompBattle throwdown — quite literally — against Thanos.]]

* Despite the [[BadassCape Cloak of Levitation]] being simply an accessory for Strange, it has gained quite a good amount of popularity for being an EmpathicWeapon who tends to act more competent than Strange himself during the battles. It also has engaged in some SilentSnarker with Strange himself, providing a lot of laughs when it does.

* Dimitri, the no-nonsense, wetworks-esque S.H.I.E.L.D. agent tasked to be their tour guide/driver. He has two scenes and is gold as TheComicallySerious.
* [[spoiler:J. Jonah Jameson, once again portrayed by J. K. Simmons, is seen as one of the best parts of the film in spite of only appearing for less than a minute.]]

* Goose the Cat is also popular given how she is a BadassAdorable [[spoiler:alien that can spring tentacles at a moment's notice and hold entire pocket dimensions within them]]. Many who don't like the film as a whole still cite Goose as a positive aspect.
* Many viewers noted that Ben Mendelsohn's Talos continued the MCU's streak of compelling villains, for his charismatic interactions with the heroes and constant terror in response to [[spoiler:Goose]]. [[spoiler:This was heightened even more when it is revealed that Talos and the other Skrulls are merely desperate refugees seeking to escape the Kree despots that are revealed to be the film's true villains.]]

* Frigga's appearance in this film is well-liked, in part because the first two ''Thor'' movies [[TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter barely used her before killing her off]], and in part because she's able to get Thor back in the right mindset of being a hero in spite of his failings.

* James D'Arcy makes a brief appearance as Jarvis, to the utter delight of ''Agent Carter'' fans, in the first time a character/actor who originated in [[Series/AgentCarter one of the MCU TV shows]] has migrated to the movies.

* Out of all the Children of Thanos (called the Black Order in the comics), Ebony Maw ([[AllThereInTheManual the only one named in dialogue,]] just as "the Maw") is considered to be the most popular. His [[MindOverMatter telekinetic powers]] make him unique among his group who are primarily fighters, and his role as a HammyHerald gives him the most fleshed out personality of all of the Order. ** Mac Gargan only appears in two scenes, but his potential to become Scorpion and his excellent portrayal as a psychopath has earned him many fans. It's helped by the fact that he's played by Creator/MichaelMando.
** Aaron Davis likewise has a similar amount of screen time, but he manages to have a pair of memorable and funny appearances, and a handful of ComicBook/MilesMorales fans especially like that his presence and one of his lines confirm that the future Spider-Man exists in the MCU. The fact that [[Music/ChildishGambino Donald Glover]] already has a built-in fanbase of his own certainly doesn't hurt.
