** Tropers/{{Ian}}: The aforementioned GainaxEnding in ''World Tour.'' Even for a show tilting towards CerberusSyndrome, seeing Al and Zeke get engulfed in lava and horribly disfigured (the latter ''on fire and screaming in pain'') is pretty heavy stuff. The Dethronging Moment sinks in when you realize they created all that NightmareFuel just for the sake a couple of asinine, poorly-written, cliched, and entirely predictable homages to [[LordOfTheRings Return of the King]] and [[StarWars Revenge of the Sith]], complete with a BigNo contrivedly shoehorned in.

And this is the season finale, remember. So in essence, the entirety of Season 3 builds up to an ending that's pretty much copy/pasted from Lord of The Rings and Star Wars. Is it too much to ask that they put some real effort into writing a season finale?

**bobdrantz: For me, it was the episode "Johnny's Royal Flush" in which Johnny is turned into a fish, flushed down the toilet, and persued by a hungry sewer gator. It's not the blatant ReptilesAreAbhorrent FamilyUnfriendlyAesop that is constantly shoved down our throats (With the, natural, exception of the cute turtle...of course). No, what makes this episode a DMOS is the ending. Long story short, the alligator is (offscreen) sucked into what is essentially a giant fan and '''KILLED'''. That's right. The epside ends with a living creature essentially ripped apart and turned into shoes and bags. Even worse is the fact that the series treats this ending as ''funny''. [[SarcasmMode Yes, it's always hilarious whenever a living creature dies a horrible painfu death]]. People, far more ''evil'' villains have done ''worse'' than the 'gator (For example, recurring villain [[AffectionateParody Darth]] [[StarWars Vegan]] tried '''twice''' to essentially ''destroy'' all life on earth by stealing '''all''' the natural resources) have been defeated and injured, but were still left alive though utterly humilated. So, what are you trying to teach us JohnnyTest? [[FamilyUnfriendlyAesop It's ok to let "humanoid" villains live even if they try to wipe out entire planets but a hungry alligator deserves to die as painfully and disturbingly as possible?]]

** SuperSaiyaMan: The treatment of Gwen after she and Duncan entered a relationship. Again, everyone treats her like the worse thing ever, completely ''ignoring'' the fact that Courtney is a [[ManipulativeBastard manipulative]], spoiled brat, and a control freak. She was abusive to Duncan through the entire portion of Total Drama Action, and when they ''formally'' broke up? Duncan attempted to ''apologize'' but Courtney just continued to throw a temper tantrum and kick him. Yet at no point does any contestant say that maybe, just maybe, Karma caught up with Courtney for how she cheated last season, as well as her abusive actions. Gwen is the DesignatedVillain here, and at no point again-Courtney completely loses it and wants to ''[[MoralEventHorizon murder]]'' Gwen in the end. Gwen is one of the characters viewers most identify with, she felt ''[[MyGodWhatHaveIDone horrible]]'' that she kissed Duncan right after becoming friends with Courtney, and that she REALLY wanted to leave it at just one kiss until Courtney broke up with Duncan in her temper tantrum. Courtney becomes a [[TheScrappy a Scrappy]] whose getting into Sierra the [[ManipulativeBastard manipulative bitch]] and hypocrite levels. Now I'm not saying that Courtney's anger isn't justified, she just takes it way, way too far and comes off as a KarmaHoudini since no one remembers it is HER fault for driving Duncan off.
** {{Keane23}}: Another prime World Tour (huh, quite a lot for a SeasonalRot escapee) would be ''Picnic at Hanging Rick''. *Sigh.* [[ThisIsSparta Where. Do. I. Begin?]] Let's start with 1., the actual episode title, Picnic at Hanging Rock. Unlike all the other episodes, whose title is an [[{{IncrediblyLamePun}} incredibly lame pun]], PAHR is not. On the contrary, [[PicnicAtHangingRock It is actually the name of an actually book and the subsequent movie from which it was based]]. Talk about [[TheyJustDidntCare just not caring]] [[hottip:* :Update, it turns out the actual name of the episode, at least in the U.S., is actually Picnic at Hanging ''Dork'', not Rock as was made earlier to believe. I considers the new title even worse]]. 2.(and this is where the spoilers begin), the humor. Or, in this case, ''the lack thereof.'' I mean, talk about an episode that, for the first and thus far only time in the entire series, is not funny. At all. An example of this episodes humor, when Owen tries to ride an ostrich, he falls off, and the ostrich sits on his face and farts. How is that funny? It sounds like something [[SeltzerAndFreidberg Seltzerberger]] or [[SpongeBobSquarePants Casey and Zeus]] would come up with. Oh, and that's nothing compared to this episodes lack of originallity. This episodes features a [[BoxingKangaroo boxing kangaroo.]] [[LooneyTunes '''WHERE HAVE I SEEN THAT BEFORE?!?!?!?!?''']] I swear, the only part worth a giggle is [[http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100818114302/totaldramaisland/images/0/09/CrazyCody3.PNG this]], and even that's pushing it ''just'' a bit. 3., the ''[[CharacterDerailment character derailment]]''. Everyone in this episode is even worse than they are in Total Drama Action. But the most absurd was Cody. This is the episode of Cody's infamous hypocritical humor that's mentioned on the show's main page. It was so bad, that it made me glad that Cody wasn't in TDA. 4., the song. [[SoBadItsHorrible Dear Lord, the song.]] It makes ''[[TheGarbagePailKidsMovie You can be a Garbage Pail Kid]]'' [[BeyondTheImpossible sound like]] [[{{Queen}} Bohemian Rhapsody]], it's that bad. Poor composition, terrible lyrics, ''OUT OF SYNC ANIMATION.'' [[ItGotWorse Shall I go on?]] Hard to believe that this is from the same people who wrote ''[[{{Tearjerker}} Oh Izzy Mix]]'' ([[BetterThanItSounds Don't let the name fool you.]]) And 5., and perhaps most {{Egregious}}, I think it's been made blatantly obvious that the writer has it in for Gwen. Now, before you send the mob after me, I get it. Courtney's anger is, in every shape, form, and manner, ''completely'' justifiable. I mean, how couldn't it be, both her heart and trust had been shattered to a point to which it's beyond repair. But that still doesn't keep me from thinking that the tie-breaker challenge was [[CurbStompBattle completely unfair]]. I mean really, Gwen forced to feed a koala bear [[WallBanger while being allergic to Eucalyptus Leaves and Chris (or at least '''someone''') with the knowledge of this?]] [[NoIndoorVoice REALLY!!!]] [[hottip:* :Oh, and remember the remorse she was feeling for that first kiss? [[AesopAmnesia Yeah, the writer made sure she forgot.]]]] So, yeah, this is "Gwen go bye-bye time", but not before having what jolly well may be the '''biggest''' OutOfCharacterMoment [[strike: of the episode.]] [[strike: of the season thus far.]] [[strike: of the ''show'' thus far.]] [[strike: on Cartoon Network or Teletoon!]] [[strike: in all of Western Animation!]] [[strike: '''in all of Media!!''']] '''EVER!!!!!!!!!''' ** Baronobeefdip: For me, it was the episode where Bender and Amy try to make Robot/Human relationships legal. Why? Well, for one thing, it had a '''HUGE''' "AssPull [[StatusQuoIsGod Of God"]]. Basically, the gist of the episode is that Bender and Amy fall in love, but, since "Robosexual" relationships are illegal, their love is forbidden. Really!? First of all, you CAN'T just have a major event happen to one (or more) character and then just hit the ResetButton so that everything is back to normal...'''ESPECIALLY''' in shows that follow some form of continuity like {{Futurama}} does. Second, last time I checked, an ''earlier'' episode already showed ''why'' Robosexual relationships are a ''bad'' idea. So...RetCon hypocrisy, anyone?

** Baronobeefdip: For another DW-esque DMOS, there's always the older episode ''DW Flips''. In that episode, after much whiny begging, DW gets to join a gymnastics class. ** Baronobeefdip: For another DW-esque DMOS, there's always me, it's the older episode ''DW Flips''. In ''D.W's Very Very Bad Mood'' which shows that her KarmaHoudini and BrattyHalfPint status has gone as far back as season two. Long story short, D.W basically acts like a total brat towards ''everyone'' and spends the majority of the episode being whiny and just plain rude to everyone. Arthur is, understandably, sick of his sister's unacceptable behavior and so Francine decides to find out why D.W is acting like such a brat. So, what's the problem? D.W wasn't invited to a birthday party. (Beat) Really? That's why D.W is acting so bratty? What's worse is that the episode expects us to feel ''sorry'' for the little brat. Seriously, only ''once'' is D.W called out for her bratty behavior and it's a '''very''' flimsy attempt at that (Much like the latter episode, after much whiny begging, DW gets to join a gymnastics class. She becomes jealous of her friend, Emily, ''Arthur's Big Hit''). And, no, D.W. being more skilled than her, and so she tries to do a flip on the balance beam...only four is ''no'' excuse for her mother to come behavior. Oh, and save her from seriously injuring herself at the last moment. The DMOS comes in when DW's mother is scolding her for her reckless behavior, and DW responds by saying she wants to take "horseriding lessons" after seeing a girl riding a horse. (Beat) Um, DW, need I remind you that you could've been SERIOUSLY injured or even ''killed'' had you gone through it ends with trying Francine inviting D.W to do a flip on her (Francine's, not D.W.'s) party. I mean, if D.W were to simply act all sad throughout the balance beam?episode, then I wouldn't have such a problem with it. But, no. Instead, she acts like a total ''bitch'' and then the episode expects us to feel sorry for her.

Interpret that line any way you want, but it's still inexcusable, either way. Bottom line, this episode is an absolute abomination on the otherwise beautiful name of Total Drama. * DoktorVonEurotrash: ''{{Futurama}}'''s second episode after the {{uncancellation}}, "In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela", generally does a good job of spitting on Leela's normally tough ActionGirl character by having her naked, immobilised and in a cliché RescueRomance with [[HandsomeLech Zapp]] [[MilesGloriosus Brannigan]]. But then she finds out that he's been causing all their problems and tricking her in the hope of getting laid... this is when she'll kick his ass, right? Nope. Instead, a KillSat forces them to have sex, or it will blow up the Earth, so Leela goes ahead with it ([[RapeIsOKWhenItIsFemaleOnMale despite Zapp no longer wanting to]]) in front of the rest of her crew and just off-camera. So, let me count the characters humiliated by this. Leela, because she's forced to sleep with a man she detests. Zapp, because he's ''raped''. Nope. Instead, right? Well, yes, but it's short-lived because a KillSat forces them to have sex, or it will blow up the Earth, so Leela goes ahead with it ([[RapeIsOKWhenItIsFemaleOnMale despite Zapp no longer wanting to]]) in front of the rest of her crew and just off-camera. So, let me count the characters humiliated by this. Leela, because she's forced to sleep with a man she detests. Zapp, because he's ''raped''. And heck, Fry too, since as of the season premiere, he and Leela are after all supposed to be a couple.

1. This isn't a moment. 2. Courtney's TDA character/actions were practically canonly discontinuitied due to how stupid it was. 3. Gwen isn't much better in this plotline, as seen below.

* Baronobeefdip: Normally, I like ''JohnnyTest''. But, one episode made me cringe. Which one? Well, it's the one where the parents find out that Dukey can talk. It starts out fine enough, and the idea of the parents having Dukey spend more time with them rather than Johnny makes for a pretty good plot. But, then the show had to pull the most ''BLATANT'' example of [[AssPull "Asspull]] [[StatsuQuoIsGod of God"]] in the history of TV. How, do you ask? Amnesia. That's right. Instead of Johnny simply TELLING his parents that he feels bad that he hasn't gotten the chance to hang out with his dog after said parents find out he can talk, he pretty much tricks them into the lab and erases their memory. (Sigh) [[TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot So much for the concept of the ENTIRE Test family hilariously dealing with having a talking dog.]]

* Saieras: ''StarWarsTheCloneWars'' introduced us to 99, a malformed and physically weak clone working maintenance. He wasn't fit for combat, but he still wanted to help in any way he could. In one of the most important battles of show he finally got his chance to be a hero, bringing munitions to Echo and Fives and showing them the fastest way to the barracks and armory. Even though he was a NonActionGuy he still helped his brothers win the day. Then the group he was with ran out of thermal detonators, so 99 goes to get more. However, rather than exercise any sort of caution, he just darts out into the hallway full o' laser beams like a dumbass and dies. Sure, you could justify it by saying he was overeager and undertrained, but the [[StupidSacrifice stupidity of his sacrifice]] really diminished the emotional effect of his death.

I'm not saying Gwen is innocent either, but Courtney completely brought it on herself. The fact that no one pointed it out was bad, and that others USED it to get the heat off of them was worse. And Courtney is an abusive, spoiled brat who wouldn't even hear out Gwen and Duncan. Hell, you do remember when she made a 32 fucking page contract of all the things Duncan needs to change, and beat the crap out of him many times?

Oh Courtney's no saint, but gwen was still hardly innocent. She and Courtney were finally starting to become real friends, and then Gwen went behind her back and kissed her boyfriend. No matter how mean Courtney was, going behind her back and betraying her trust was pretty mean. What is more, Gwen could have honestly told her what had happened. I'm not defending Courtney's personality, but if I found out that the person I'm finally starting to befriend had cheated with my boyfriend, I'd also be extremely pissed off. At least part of Courtney's rage comes from the fact that Gwen betrayed her trust.
