* Metal Sonic: Every.Single.Fucking.Serket. These three are the worst pieces of scum ever written on paper. The entire existence of these characters are a DMOS. Why? Let's start with Vriska. Vriska is an extremely manipulative bitch with mind control powers who crippled poor Tavros and demanded he APOLOGIZE for it. She also was responsible for the uprising of Bec Noir for the sole purpose that she can kill him and take all the damn glory. Yeah.... She's a damn egotist and a big one at that. Plus, she steals people's luck.......yeah I'm calling Hax on that because that is just unfair. Aranea doesn't fair much better due to how she essentially caused the deaths of 10 CHARACTERS and felt 0 remorse. She also manipulated Gamzee into psychologically tormenting Terezi. And Mindfang not only manipulated an ENTIRE JURY AT HER COURT CASE but also mind controlled the Dolrosa to get RAPED by her. And she feels no fucking regret. And you know what the worst part is. Not the fact that after it seems like one of them has reformed..... Hussie shoehorns her alive again so now we have to deal with MORE Vriska. But the fact that my zodiac,Scorpio's representatives are the three worst characters I have ever seen. There are three scenes in particular I hate from all of them. Vriska's worst moment is when she asks Tavros to APOLOGIZE FOR BEING CRIPPLED!!!!!IT WAS HER OWN DAMN FAULT IN THE FIRST PLACE AND TAVROS HAD ENOUGH TORTURE FROM HER AS IS!!!!! Aranea's moment is S] Game Over which involved the slaughtering of 10 characters all caused by her, for if she didn't start fucking around with the session, Condy wouldn't have shown up and Gamzee wouldn't be on that rampage. And Mindfang's worst moment is when we see her journal and learn all the fucked up shit she had done and how gleefully she did it.

* Yaridovich23: Aranea suddenly becoming a villain. No buildup. No hints at it coming. Nothing. Just BAM, she's suddenly evil and insane and ready to end lives to get what she wants. And just like Vriska, she's obsessed with being just like Mindfang. I mean good God, even if she's a terrible character and a rapist, it's hard to deny Mindfang is badass and all, but what's with these two devoting their lives to being just like her? Anyway, Aranea being a villain isn't bad enough, she also is conveniently behind a lot of Gamzee's actions, any time he was always smiling at least, and that came out of nowhere too. I guess I should have seen it coming since Mindfang and Vriska have also been OP, boring, awful characters that just like to steal the spotlight from characters that are far more interesting than they are. I pray that Lord English rainbow blasts her into oblivion at some point.

* despairChihiro: The introduction of the alpha trolls - the "[[PerfectlyCromulentWord dancestors]]", if you will - is probably the DMoS for the comic as a whole. It introduced even more characters, of which... 3 are useful. Even then, they're arguably just padding and used to fill PlotHoles. Damara's a racist stereotype, Rufioh's a case of TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter, Mituna's just fucking ridiculous, and Kankri's a walking AuthorTract - we get it, he thinks social justice is counterproductive. And that's only 4 of 12. So over the entire summer of '13, we got 3 flashes of Meenah walking around the dreambubbles and having everyone she knows tell her that they can't help her fight. What a beautiful, beautiful waste of time.
** Sciencejoe: My huge issue with this is that the majority of the new trolls have glaring character flaws; Latula is faking her personality to hide her depression at living forever, Kankri has no idea what he's talking about and his "lessons" are either useless blabber or manage to [[NiceJobBreakingItHero make things worse]], and Cronus is a sexually abusive jerk who won't take no for an answer. Unfortunately, it seems like they're going to remain as useless as despairChihiro mentioned while Meenah and Aranea get most of the spotlight; Meenah even had enough decency to warn John that her lust for greed will cause her to steal his ring. At least some of the original 12 trolls (Karkat, Terezi, and Kanaya) learned from their mistakes; the others either became villainous (Gamzee, Eridan), wound up dead before that could happen (Equius), or [[BreadEggsBreadedEggs became villainous, died, and learned from their mistakes]] (Vriska). Meanwhile, Hussie created this whole cavalcade of new characters with a lot of potential for a good story...and they're just going to sit there. It was all a ruse! They were just there for Hussie to make fun of the fandom. Granted, Homestuck's not over at the time of this writing, but considering that all the other characters are coming together in one huge cluster, there's probably no time for every alpha troll to go through a character arc. In the end, Hussie did not waste a perfectly good plot. He wasted a perfectly good everything, and all to get back at the fans who pay him undying amounts of adoration.

* Tropers/MasterHand: Everyone's going to kill me for this, but I think ''Webcomic/{{Homestuck}}'' had started to jump the shark a while back. The real Dethroning Moment, however, was in Act 5 Act 2: [[spoiler:Eridan kills Feferi and Kanaya after getting in a fight with Sollux, but not before blowing up the matriorb right in front of Kanaya. Meanwhile, Gamzee becomes a MonsterClown apropos of little else, and Tavros is found dead, ostensibly at his hands.]] It was blatantly out of character for [[spoiler: both Gamzee and Eridan]], and while CerebusSyndrome can be done right, here, it wasn't. As if all that wasn't bad enough, it [[TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot invalidated opportunities for plot twists]] and [[TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter character development]] that would've made for a much better direction for the story to take. And on top of that, the way that the comic tried to make jokes about it was just mean-spirited and disrespectful towards both the characters and those who cared about them-- [[spoiler:Feferi falls dead into the horn pile, Kanaya's death is subtitled with a line from Webcomic/SweetBroAndHellaJeff, and Tavros gets a posthumous HumiliationConga from Vriska, Terezi and [[AuthorAvatar Andrew]].]] The comic certainly had potential, but I really wish it took all that back and started being entertaining again instead of just resorting to {{cheap heat}}. I was able to put up with Andrew's shit up to that point, even if I really didn't think it was a good idea (and there was quite a bit of that), but I wasn't able to keep reading after this. The comic was making me feel uncomfortable just reading it, and that's not the mark of something you want to read. What were they thinking?

For a while, I had felt ''Homestuck'' was in serious decline around the time Act 6 had begun (me and everyone else), and it was primarily because of all of the pointless death sequences, sluggishly-paced plot, and new less interesting/pleasant characters (plus circumstances not directly related to the comic itself, i.e, its fandom). [[spoiler: Jade's death at the hands of Aranea]] has pretty much become the comic's lowest point and Hussie's general attitude nowadays seems to be, "If I make the villains as unstoppable as possible, make the new characters completely flat and unpleasant, and kill most of my existing cast for a few cheap jokes at the expense of enjoyability, surely I'll keep my fandom around for a bit longer!" At this point, the efforts of the kids will become fruitless and spiral down into an inevitable DownerEnding. Almost a shame, considering I used to be a huge fan of the comic.
