* DeadlyDecadentCourt: The Skrull diaspora lost its Emperor, and the surviving royal family are overwhelmed by the prospect of trying to lead a former galaxy-spanning empire out of a handful of outposts, leaving them highly dependent upon increasingly corrupt advisers. In an alternate version of the Marvel Universe, the Gibborim were banished to outer space thousands of years ago. Enraged by the loss of their home, they've thrown a galaxy-wide tantrum, destroying the Kree, the Skrulls, the Majesdanians, and pretty much any other civilization that stood in the way of their return to Earth. And now they've reached Earth, armed with all manner of exotic technology, and their opening salvo involved the depowering of almost all superhumans.

By now, the entire population of North America has been reduced to a single megacity, New Angeles, and humans, joined by aliens and mutants, are fighting back.
