* DoubleMeaningTitle: The 500th episode, ''Here To Stay''; it refers to the Demented Dimension, which no matter how many times it gets destroyed, it still remains, but to the series as a whole.

* EldritchLocation: The Demented Dimension: It's a vast desolate desert-like world where everything is in one color (which randomly changes), and is home to weird bug-like creatures. And let's not forger the resident...
** EldritchAbomination: A giant worm-like monster. It's as big as a skyscraper. It has millions of tentacles. And also, ''30 mouths''. Later on it turns out there's more of them, though in different sizes.
** The episode ''How the Demented Dimension Came to Be'' reveals the Dimension is actually a PatchworkWorld GoneHorriblyWrong made by a team of [[MadScientist mad scientists]] and all its residents and monsters are the result of mutations and inbreeding.
** SexTourism: ''Sex in the Demented Dimension'' has the D.L.D., with no other option to make money, open the Dimension to straight women and gay men who are willing to pay money to have sex with the Dimension's locals, who don't care about the gender of their partner.
** HorribleHollywood: One episode reveals Marvel Studios is filming the latest ''Avengers'' movie in the Dimension, not just because it's the perfect location for a Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse movie, but also because it's a way to save money on special effects.
** Finally, in ''Decay of the Demented Dimension'', as the Dimension is breaking and falling apart, Dexter, Dr. Apartheid, and Dr. Kvasimodo work together to restore it and put it back together. In the end, they set the color to black and white ("Just like this comic!"), which is why it's then renamed the Dull Dimension.
** At the end of ''Hit Landfill'', the M.V.M. (a group that functions as a GuardianOfTheMultiverse) completely destroy the Dimension, so it doesn't bother anyone again.
** The milestone 500th episode ''Here To Stay'' not only brings the Demented Dimension to its former state, but some other stuff as well...

* GuardianOfTheMultiverse: The M.V.M., which stands for Minor Viewers of the Multiverse. They observe what happens through the universes, and the group is made of Blue Luke (from the Blue Dimension), Lucy (from the Opposite Gender Universe) and Daisy Davenport (from the alternate version of Metropolis, River City).
* ImprobablyFemaleCast: 30 females, 15 males.

* MayflyDecemberRomance: The relationship between 229-year old Vicky and regular human aged Bludweiser.

** While every episode is drawn black and white, the 500th episode, ''Here To Stay'', is in color.

When compared to the old cast, these new ones are fairly LighterAndSofter; they don't argue or snark at each other, and even the main villain seems kind of sympathetic (until another villain shows up).

As of episode 165 they are put together with the old cast, for better or worse. As of episode 192, they are in the Demented Dimension where they're helping the Syrian refugees who have a started a new life there (since, sadly, they really had no other place to go).
As of episode 244 they are back in our world.

New members Thompson, Marion and Zoë strive to be just as good as their predecessors, without all the fighting and bickering. They changed the name to Destroy Ludicrous Demons, to keep the D.L.D. name intact (and besides, if they went by their initials like the old D.L.D., they'd be called T.M.Z., and who wants to share the same name as a celebrity gossip site?).

At first it only consisted of Marion and Thompson, with Zoë joining in later (she was introduced in the first new-cast episode "Dramatic entrance! Enter Zoë"; how Thompson and Marion met was revealed in the WholeEpisodeFlashback "When huffy met sultry", where they both tied in a competition held by the mayor to see who was going to be the new D.L.D.). As of episode 244 they are disbanded.
