** ''Dreamwalking on Sunshine'' is a whole shout-out to a key plot point in ''Film/DoctorStrangeInTheMultiverseOfMadness''; mainly it's about Vicky, Luke and Tina using dreamwalking to be with their respective loved ones (Vicky with Georges, Luke with Prescott and Tina with Luke). It ultimately ends with Veronika destroying the book used for dreamwalking, and the final scene shows Vicky, Luke and Tina bitterly eating ice-cream in an ice-cream shop while Engelbert Humperdinck's "A Man Without Love" plays in the background.

** Tina is in love with Luke and frequently stalks him, but that's all there is to it.
** Klara and Yoko fought for Thompson's affections, but he ended up with Maiya, so the two of them were left high and dry.

Added DiffLines:

* NegativeContinuity: All over the place, even though characters make references to previous episodes (even calling them such); the biggest example would be how anytime someone dies, they come back later as if nothing happened.

Added DiffLines:

* NonFatalExplosions: For example, in the episode ''Witchslap'' when an explosion occurs, and the only damage made to Veronika and Tina is their hair got messy and their clothes are slightly charred.

Added DiffLines:

* ReincarnationRomance: Back in the 90s, Dr. Apartheid knew a man and a woman who were in love. When the man died, the woman was so struck with grief, she killed herself. They were reborn, but in a subversion of this trope, they were reborn as Luke and his crazy stalker Tina, thus making the romance one-sided.

** The episode ''How the Demented Dimension Came to Be'' reveals the Dimension is actually a PatchworkWorld GoneHorriblyWrong made by a team of [[MadScientist mad scientists]] and all its residents and monsters are the result of mutations and inbreeding.
** SexTourism: ''Sex in the Demented Dimension'' has the D.L.D., with no other option to make money, open the Dimension to straight women and gay men who are willing to pay money to have sex with the Dimension's locals, who don't care about the gender of their partner.
** HorribleHollywood: One episode reveals Marvel Studios is filming the latest ''Avengers'' movie in the Dimension, not just because it's the perfect location for a Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse movie, but also because it's a way to save money on special effects.
** Finally, in ''Decay of the Demented Dimension'', as the Dimension is breaking and falling apart, Dexter, Dr. Apartheid, and Dr. Kvasimodo work together to restore it and put it back together. In the end, they set the color to black and white ("Just like this comic!"), which is why it's then renamed the Dull Dimension.
