** Starting with the UsefulNotes/NintendoGameCube era, Toad has shared a voice actress with Princess Peach and Toadette (The first one being Creator/JenTaylor and the current one being Samantha Kelly). Before that, Toad was voiced by a Nintendo employee named Tomoko Maruno for the Japanese version of ''VideoGame/MarioKart64'', the first three games of the ''VideoGame/MarioParty'' series and ''VideoGame/MarioKartSuperCircuit''. Some time between Jen Taylor giving up her roles and Samantha Kelly replacing her, a woman named Kelsey Hutchison filled in as a temporary voice actress for Toad for the first two ''VideoGame/MarioStrikers'' games.

* In ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolid4'', [[spoiler:Raiden's son, John,]] is voiced by Creator/JenniferHale, who also voices Naomi Hunter and Emma Emmerich.

** Sonic's sidekick Tails has been voiced by a young boy in most of his earlier appearances... and as of ''Anime/SonicX'' and ''VideoGame/ShadowTheHedgehog'', he has been voiced by women to avoid any further voice changes (Tails has had a '''lot''' over the years), and they took it well. His voice was done by Amy Palant from ''Shadow the Hedgehog'' to ''[[VideoGame/SegaSuperstars Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing]]''. His voice was done by Creator/KateHiggins as of ''VideoGame/SonicColors'', which has been generally been received as more boyish and an improvement over the last voice actor Amy Palant. Starting with ''WesternAnimation/SonicBoom'', Tails is now voiced by Creator/ColleenOShaughnessey, who also voices Charmy. Tails has been voiced by the female Creator/RyoHirohashi in Japanese starting with ''VideoGame/SonicHeroes''; he was voiced by two young boys in the Dreamcast games.

* Luke in the North American versions of the ''VideoGame/ProfessorLayton'' games (except for ''VideoGame/ProfessorLaytonVsPhoenixWrightAceAttorney'') and [[VideoGame/Mother3 Lucas]] and [[VideoGame/KidIcarus Pit]] in ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBros Brawl'' are voiced by Creator/LaniMinella -- the same woman who voiced [[VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog Rouge the Bat]], until she was replaced by Caren Manuel (who herself was eventually replaced by Creator/KarenStrassman).

** She also plays four of the seven [[VideoGame/SuperMarioBros Koopalings]] (Lemmy, Larry, Wendy, and Morton), only one of which is a girl. Most impressive is that she voices Morton, who has a deep, gruff voice and sounds NOTHING like a girl.

* Speaking of ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBros'', [[VideoGame/{{Earthbound}} Ness]] and Franchise/{{Kirby}} [[Creator/MakikoOhmoto are also voiced by the same woman]].
