* ''Anime/ThrillerRestaurant'' has ''a school of these kids.'' The protagonists Anko, Shou, and Reiko, get involved in the ghost stories. Shou also lives in a funeral home.
* ''Franchise/TokyoGhoul'': Investigator Suzuya doesn't feel pain, and sadistically tortures every ghoul he kills. He also bites off a man's ear at the slightest provocation, and from his mentor's reaction this sort of thing is par for the course. Even after the timeskip and a great deal of CharacterDevelopment, he remains a rather disturbing figure; arguably the second deadliest Ghoul Investigator in Tokyo, and completely casual about killing, but also very childish and much younger than he looks (he's 22, but he was castrated as a young child).

He wasn't much better in his younger years either.
* Yuuichi Katagiri in ''Manga/TomodachiGame'' was one of these in his younger years, as his ConMan adoptive father raised him to be a ManipulativeBastard like him to the point he became a ChildProdigy running cons himself that left people destitute and traumatized. However, he eventually TookALevelInKindness that turned him into the GuileHero he is in the present day.

He even notes at one point that, without Iruka (and eventually Team 7), he'd be just the same as Gaara.

** In episode 9, there's a scene where a young Lucy hallucinates and sees the mutilated dead bodies of the cruel kids come back to life and mock her. Afterwards, she is seen talking with the voice of her DNA inside her mind, leading to her attempting to strangle Kouta. After finding out that Kouta lied to her about the gender of his cousin, who he was going to a festival with, she goes on a rampage, murdering everyone in sight, including Kouta's father and sister, and tries to go after Yuka until but Kouta tackles her and demands that she stops.

* Czeslaw Meyer from ''Literature/{{Baccano}}'' is what happens when you take an AdorablyPrecociousChild, orphan him, grant him immortality alongside thirty or so self-serving, maladjusted individuals, have one of those self-serving, maladjusted individuals flip out and kill half of them, have another self-serving, maladjusted individual take the AdorablyPrecociousChild into his custody and torture him for 200 years, then make the AdorablyPrecociousChild's only means of escape be to kill that monster and take all of his thoughts and memories as his own. [[TheWoobie The fact that he's able to function]] ''[[TheWoobie at all]]'' probably calls for a medal of some sort, but that doesn't mean he isn't prone to lapses of [[CrazySurvivalist absolutist, "kill-or-be-killed"]] insanity...

* ''Manga/BungoStrayDogs'' has Q, a 13-year-old Port Mafia member whose forced isolation seems to have stunted his development, making him come across as closer to 9. * ''Manga/CaseClosed'':
** Edogawa Conan and Haibara Ai might not [[OlderThanTheyLook actually be]] [[FountainOfYouth 7 year olds]], but they certainly come off that way to everyone else. Conan is undisturbed by every gruesome murder they come across as he walks up to the body and looks for evidence. Haibara doesn't even bother acting like a little kid, foregoing that for her [[DeadpanSnarker sarcasm]] and incredibly cynical worldview. And her occasional suicidal tendencies.
** Besides, being 17 and 18 isn't that much less creepy when they're acting like that.
** Sometimes Conan/Shinichi is just ''trying'' to be creepy. There's no other explanation. Like in a conversation between him and Takagi, right after Conan tells him exactly ''why'' they have other option but waiting to defuse a bomb in the same room as them until seconds before it explodes, in order to get a hint about where the next bomb is. It's even worse because Conan is the only one who can get to the bomb to defuse it. Because Takagi doesn't know that Conan is really a seventeen year old genius detective, this conversation follows:
-->'''Takagi:''' Tell me one more thing. W-Who on Earth are you?
-->'''Conan:''' Oh. Well if you want to know... Then I'll tell you. In the next world.

During their missions they change into relentless killing machines, showing hardly any emotion whatsoever, contrasting heavily with their innocent looks. Due to her 'conditioning' this leads to moments of MoralMyopia, the most infamous example being when Rico [[LeaveNoWitnesses killed a boy she'd befriended earlier in the episode]], and was quite happy that she remembered the correct apology for this situation.

** Miyu. [[spoiler: She's got the excuse of being mentally an older woman who was allowed to keep a teenage form to capture the Shinma.]]
** The DelicateAndSickly little girl form the first OAV, Aiko, also qualifies. She appears in a ConvenientComa, but later a flashback shows [[spoiler: that she sold her soul to a Shinma after her parents died in a car accident where she was gravely injured and, out of trauma, she started calling herself a vampire since they donated their blood to her to save her life, right before perishing.]] She's both creepy and terribly pitiful.
* ''Manga/XxxHolic'': CreepyTwins Moro and Maru, Yuuko's two assistants at the shop. It's revealed early on that they have no souls, and later, that they keep the shop grounded between dimensions.
* ''Anime/YuGiOh'':
** Mokuba's original form in the manga was pretty bad, too. Especially given he forces Yugi to play a rigged game with him, and until the Other Yugi comes out it's a fifteen-year-old who seems like a little kid facing a ten-year-old with the mannerisms of a mafia boss. And that homicidal grin when he was cheating at roulette to poison Jounouchi and Yugi to death...
** In the anime, there's Noa Kaiba. He died at age 10 in an accident, which is why Gozaburo adopted Seto and Mokuba. But his conscience was trapped in a virtual game, which he then uses to get revenge on Kaiba for replacing him and on Yugi and his friends as well, using all the traps and manipulations at his hand to get it done.
* In ''Anime/YuGiOhTheDarkSideOfDimensions'''s prequel manga, Sera has knowledge beyond her years, and claims to hear voices from the netherworld. She's also a skilled manipulator, challenges Kaiba to the technological equivalent of a Shadow Game, and is working with Aigami. In the movie itself, though, she's a hero and tries to stop Aigami's path to darkness.
* In one episode of ''Anime/YuGiOh5Ds'', Rua went up against a ghostly child named Michael. Michael -- but not Claire - was ignorant of the fact that they were dead, and Michael was [[UnfinishedBusiness obsessed with protecting his sister]]. Fortunately, losing a duel to Rua set things straight.
* Hiei from ''Manga/YuYuHakusho'' was a really creepy infant. Small pupils, sharp ''teeth'', and a SlasherSmile. Well, he's a demon after all. And when he grew into a kid, he was a BloodKnight who killed other demons for fun.

* 15-year-old [[NobleDemon Manjiro "Mikey" Sano]] in ''Manga/TokyoRevengers'' is the strongest character in the series, and a {{sadist}}ic PsychopathicManchild who manages to start a massive gang of JapaneseDelinquents [[TeensAreMonsters encompassing multiple schools with total control of Shibuya]], despite being in his mid-teens and half the size of his subordinates. He wasn't much better in his younger years either.
* Yuuichi Katagiri in ''Manga/TomodachiGame'' was one of these in his younger years, as his ConArtist adoptive father raised him to be a ManipulativeBastard like him to the point he became a ChildProdigy running cons himself that left people destitute and traumatized. However, he eventually TookALevelInKindness that turned him into the GuileHero he is in the present day.

** One of Doflamingo's executives, Sugar, looks like a little girl in a bear hoodie. However, she can turn people into toys, thus forcing them into slavery and erasing them from the memory of everyone who knew them. Not only does she not feel any remorse, she gleefully remarks that this ability can bring her an army of slaves, and she knows how to manipulate others using her appearance. Her real age is unknown; she actually [[OlderThanSheLooks only looks like a child, because her ability stops her from aging]].

* ''Manga/CaseClosed'':
