Multicolored Hair is no longer a trope

* MulticoloredHair: From 2008-2010, she dyed her hair black and had streaks of red on top. In several of her newer music videos, she has different colored hair and has also been photographed with all dark red hair in concert. In some of Onision's videos, she also dyed her hair some other colors.

also removing some real life troping. I don't think she would approve if this page about tropes in her music was all about her relationship with Onision.

* MamaBear: Similarly to her dad, her mom didn't approve of Onision either and confiscated and hid her passport after she came back to Canada while she was in the hospital recovering so she couldn't go back to him and stayed there as a result, allowing her to break free of him. She thanks her mom and credits her with helping her get over him and get better every chance she gets.

* PapaWolf: She's said her dad ''hated'' Onision so much that, not only did he not approve of their relationship, but, when she came back to Canada for the last time, he would've went all the way to his house personally with his friends to beat him to death if she didn't stop him. This became a meme amongst Onision and his fans where they referred to it as her "sending the Canadian Mafia" after him.

The interviews with Chris Hanson have nothing to do with her music.

Later in 2010, however, she had been contacted by controversial [=YouTuber=] Onision/Greg Jackson after she had been a fan of his and replied to several of his Tweets from before then and had contacted him via emails. When she traveled down to America to get in shape for a planned upcoming tour at the time, they finally met in person after he traveled to the state where she was, then he flew to Canada where they began a relationship when she was 17. He then had her move in with him in his house in Washington, US where she then started costarring in his [=YouTube=] videos from the time. At some point, they broke up for several months, but they eventually got back together and announced she had gotten pregnant soon after. She miscarried after 5 weeks, but the fetus wouldn't pass through her system naturally, so she flew back to Canada to get treatment after 11 more weeks of being in danger of getting sick because Onision wouldn't pay for the hospital visit. After this, her mother wouldn't allow her to return to him and stole her passport to make sure she couldn't and she stayed there. During this period, she stopped producing music and touring.

She's retrospectively described her stay with Onision as very stressful, as he was (allegedly) very emotionally abusive and manipulative to her to the point where she had a stress-induced seizure and suffered a case of amnesia, losing years of her memory. He also wouldn't call emergency services for that either in favor of filming it to document what was happening and throwing it up on [=YouTube=] for all to see. She later said she was thankful to her mother for not letting her go back to him. She spent several years in therapy afterwards.

She's retrospectively described her stay with Onision as very stressful, as he was (allegedly) very emotionally abusive and manipulative to her tot he point where she had a stress-induced seizure and suffered a case of amnesia, losing years of her memory. He also wouldn't call emergency services for that either in favor of filming it to document what was happening and throwing it up on [=YouTube=] for all to see. She later said she was thankful to her mother for not letting her go back to him. She spent several years in therapy afterwards.

She also released the standalone single, 'Can't Hold On' in 2010.

Later in 2010, however, she had been contacted by controversial [=YouTuber=] Onision/Greg Jackson after she had been a fan of his and replied to several of his Tweets from before then. After which her mom wouldn't allow her to return to him and stole her passport to make sure she couldn't and she stayed there. During this period, she stopped producing music and touring.

In 2017, she re-emerged as a recording artist under a new indie label she started herself called Another Mother Music and changed her style to a more mainstream Pop style, being influenced by the likes of Music/BillieEilish. She also now operates under the stage name Lyldoll. She released her second studio album, ''1993'' in 2019 after releasing some singles in 2018 and has started touring again.

In 2019, she was interviewed by Chris Hansen in a livestream on his [=YouTube=] channel in a series he has been doing on exposing Onision as a predator and a groomer and has interviewed people with knowledge of Onision's activities history on the internet, as well as the (alleged) victims of his emotional abuse and manipulation over the years as the . second victim of said abuse. She detailed the time they were together and how she felt about the situation, being in support of exposing him. She has also been in support of the other girls coming to the forefront to detail their experiences with him.

!!'''Discography:'''
* ''Picture Imperfect'' (2009)
* ''1993'' (2019)

!!Tropes related to her and her works:
* BreakUpSong: 'Goodbye You Suck.'
* CanadaEh: Born and raised. Though, she mostly averts the stereotypical accent quirks and speech patterns outside of how she pronounced "sorry" in 'Operator (A Girl Like Me).'
* DarkerAndEDGIER: Her second album compared to her first. [[JustifiedTrope Makes sense, though]].
* MeaningfulName: Her second album's name is the same year she was born, most likely symbolizing a rebirth, as she had changed her style completely for it.
* MamaBear: Similar to her dad, her mom didn't approve of Onision either and confiscated and hid her passport after she came back to Canada while she was in the hospital recovering so she couldn't go back to him and stay. She thanks her mom and credits her with helping her get over him and get better every chance she gets.
* MulticoloredHair: From 2008-2010, she died her hair black and har streaks of red. In several of her newer music videos, she has different colored hair and has also been photographed with all dark red hair in concert.
* NewSoundAlbum: Her second sounds absolutely ''nothing'' like her first, as mentioned up top.
* PappaWolf: She's said her dad ''hated'' Onision so much that not only did he not approve of their relationship, but when she came back to Canada for the last time, he would've went all the way to his house personally to beat him to death if she didn't stop him.
* PopPunk: Her first album is ver similar to fellow artists Music/AvrilLavigne, Music/AllTimeLow, and Music/{McFly} where she has a balanced mix of Pop Punk, Pop Rock, and Power Pop.
* SequelGap: ''8'' years between the single in 2010 and her first new material in 2018. However, this wasn't by choice, since Onision wouldn't let her do much with her career after she moved in with him.
* TeenIdol: She started her career at 16.
