His first film in the series was 1964's ''Film/CarryOnSpying'' and he continued to pop up until ''Film/CarryOnBehind in 1975. His most notable role was in ''Film/CarryOnAtYourConvenience'', where he played Ernie, one of the workers in Mr. Boggs' toilet factory. He also appeared in many other films, such as ''Film/{{Repulsion}}'' and ''Film/MrsBrownYouveGotALovelyDaughter''.

Hugh Futcher, (29 October 1937), is a British character actor best known for his small roles in the ''Film/CarryOnSeries''.

His first film in the series was 1964's ''Film/CarryOnSpying'' and he continued to pop up until ''Film/CarryOnBehind in 1975. His most notable role was in ''Film/CarryOnAtYourConvenience'', where he played Ernie, one of the workers in Mr. Boggs' toilet factory. He also appeared in many other films, such as ''Film/{{Repulsion}}'' and ''Film/MrsBrownYouveGotALovelyDaughter''.

On TV, he played Hedgehog in a few episodes of the now mostly lost series ''Orlando''. In 1972, he had a small guest role in ''Series/DoctorWho'' and was considered for the role of the Seventh Doctor in 1987.

He is still acting to this day.
