Due to licensing issues, the characters from ''Film/TheCommitments'' were not allowed to be used for ''Film/TheSnapper'', so the family was changed. The same thing happened again for ''The Van'', making his character in that film a CaptainErsatz [[UpToEleven of a]] CaptainErsatz.
