As one of the largest media conglomerates in the world, it's no surprise that Creator/{{Disney}} likes to reference to its own works ''within'' its own works. A lot. They also own Creator/{{ABC}}, Creator/{{ESPN}}, ''Franchise/TheMuppets'', Creator/{{Pixar}}, Creator/MarvelComics, Creator/{{Lucasfilm}}, and all of the Fox-related assets such as Creator/TwentiethCenturyStudios, Creator/SearchlightPictures, and Creator/{{Fox}} and related television stations, many of which have gotten in on the cross-references as well (and are thus lumped into this subpage). You can imagine how hectic ''that'' gets.

* ''Franchise/{{Aladdin}}'' series:
** ''WesternAnimation/{{Aladdin}}'': TheGenieKnowsJackNicholson, so of course he also knows other Disney characters:
*** When Aladdin promises Genie that he'll use his third wish to free him, Genie believes he's lying and promptly turns his head into {{WesternAnimation/Pinocchio}}'s, complete with growing nose.
*** When searching a book for a spell that will turn Aladdin into a prince, he mentions "Alaskan King Crab" and gets his finger snapped from inside the book by [[WesternAnimation/TheLittleMermaid1989 Sebastian]], complete with the first few bars of "Under the Sea" playing.
*** [[WesternAnimation/BeautyAndTheBeast The Beast]] is one of the Sultan's toy animals.
*** When trying to coax a depressed Aladdin into freeing him, Genie says to him as "When You Wish Upon a Star" starts to play...
---->'''Genie:''' Aladdin, you just won the heart of the princess! What are you going to do next?[[note]]For those unaware, the usual answer to that line is "ImGoingToDisneyWorld!"[[/note]]\\
''(Aladdin doesn't listen and drops onto a pillow)''\\
'''Genie:''' Hey, your line is "I'm going to free the genie." ''(beat)'' Any time.
*** At the end, the newly-free Genie prepares to see the world and dons a tourist getup, complete with a Disneyland WesternAnimation/{{Goofy}} hat. Doubles as an ActorAllusion, as Creator/RobinWilliams wore that same outfit for the short film ''Return to Neverland''.
** ''WesternAnimation/AladdinTheReturnOfJafar'': Genie turns into a set of animatronics and sings the line "Ride/ItsASmallWorld after all!" as a way of explaining why he's returned from his intended world tour so soon. Then when he releases the protagonists from the dungeon, he chants "[[WesternAnimation/{{Cinderella}} Bippity-boppity-boo!]]"
** ''WesternAnimation/AladdinAndTheKingOfThieves'': Among Genie's impersonations are several characters from other Disney films, such as [[WesternAnimation/PeterPan Tinkerbell]], WesternAnimation/{{Pocahontas}}, [[WesternAnimation/TheLionKing1994 Pumbaa]], and the ''WesternAnimation/SteamboatWillie'' version of WesternAnimation/MickeyMouse.

* ''Film/BedtimeStories2008'':
** During one of Skeeter's bedtime stories, a costumed [[Franchise/ToyStory Buzz Lightyear]] appears.
** In another story, someone is given tickets to see ''Theatre/TheLionKing''.
** One scene shows the kids watching ''Series/TheSuiteLifeOfZackAndCody''.

* In ''WesternAnimation/{{Brave}}'', Merida's archery style, including her winning tournament shot, is patterned off that of Disney's own WesternAnimation/{{Robin Hood|1973}}.
* ''WesternAnimation/ABugsLife'': Flik says the ''Franchise/ToyStory'' quote "To infinity and beyond!" in one of the outtakes.
* ''Franchise/{{Cars}}'' series:
** In the entire series, Lightning [=McQueen=] has Lightyear brand tires, which on top of being a pun on the real-life tire brand Goodyear, is a reference to Buzz Lightyear from ''Toy Story''.
** ''WesternAnimation/Cars1'':
*** The biggest race sponsor is Dinoco, which is the brand of the gas station seen in ''WesternAnimation/ToyStory1''.
*** During the end credits, Mack watches several car versions of previous Pixar films at a drive-in theater, specifically ''[[WesternAnimation/ToyStory1 Toy Car Story]]'', ''[[WesternAnimation/MonstersInc Monster Trucks, Inc.]]'', and ''WesternAnimation/ABugsLife''. This scene doubles as an ActorAllusion as the scenes shown here feature characters voiced by Creator/JohnRatzenberger, who voices Mack in this movie.
*** The first thing Mater says to Lightning [=McQueen=] is "Mornin', Sleepin' Beauty!" Disney had dealt with ''Sleeping Beauty'' once before, in 1959, by adapting it into a film.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Encanto}}'':
** The art for the Little Golden Book adaptation of ''Encanto'' resembles the art style of ''WesternAnimation/TangledTheSeries''.
** [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]] at one point. During "Surface Pressure", Luisa references [[Myth/ClassicalMythology the myth of Hercules fighting Cerberus]], but when we see the hero himself, he is visibly ''not'' the Disney version.
* Early on in ''Film/EscapeToWitchMountain'', Tony, Tia and the rest of the kids at the orphanage go to a movie theater to watch ''Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs''. *** In the prologue with a young Anna and Elsa playing with snow figurines, two of them look like [[WesternAnimation/BigHero6 Baymax]] and WesternAnimation/{{Dumbo}}.

*** Young Agnarr says he's reading a book by "some Danish author" implying Creator/HansChristianAndersen. *** During "When I Am Older", Olaf wanders into a rather dark part of the forest where eyes glare out at him from the shadows, and it's eerily reminiscent of [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2zrs7Irzuw Snow White's trek through the forest]] in ''WesternAnimation/SnowWhiteAndTheSevenDwarfs''.

** ''WesternAnimation/AnExtremelyGoofyMovie'':
*** During the scene where the group set off for college, when PJ can't make up his mind about which way a "louie" means (it's a left turn, for the record), an annoyed Max exclaims, "[[WesternAnimation/DuckTales1987 Louie, Huey, Dewey]], what are you talking about?!"
*** This little bit from the unemployment office scene:
----> '''[[LarynxDissonance Female Interviewer:]]''' "Well, doll... Uh, Mr. Goof. [[WesternAnimation/TheLittleMermaid1989 The answer to your problem is simple.]] The only way to build your career is to go back to college."
*** "Ain't that WesternAnimation/MickeyMouse over there?"

In addition, Jafar's old man disguise appears for a slapstick gag in the climax.
** Clopin's animator noticed how similar the music for "Court of Miracles" was to Dukas' ''L'apprenti sorcier'' (best known for its use in ''WesternAnimation/{{Fantasia}}''), that at one point, he had Clopin dance and lift with his robe like Mickey. This melodic similarity is probably what led Alan Menken to change the melody for the song in the theatrical adaptation.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheJungleBook1967'': Near the end of the film, [[spoiler:Bagheera delivers a eulogy to the apparently dead Baloo as]] a [[HolyPipeOrgan somber organ music]] plays. What's the matter?").
*** The fact that Totoro from ''My Neighbor Totoro'' appears as a toy in the film might be a bit of a weasel call in regards to his connection to Disney, as he's a Studio Ghibli character, but Disney had the rights to distribute the Studio Ghibli films in the United States when ''Toy Story 3'' came out.

*** WesternAnimation/{{Cinderella}}, [[WesternAnimation/SleepingBeauty Aurora]], and [[WesternAnimation/BeautyAndTheBeast Belle]] make blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameos at Elena's accession and coronation.
*** In the series finale, Creator/PatrickWarburton voices a StupidNeutral antagonist who is based on Mesoamerican mythology, [[BigFun very buff]], doesn't get along with Flo (who is an alpaca [[MixAndMatchCritters hybrid creature]], alpacas being related to llamas), thinks another character being tricked into being shapeshifted into other animals is funny, and is annoying to the BigBad who is an old woman… [[WesternAnimation/TheEmperorsNewGroove huh?]]
*** After defeating the monster that Olivia [[note]] Same first name as the girl mouse in WesternAnimation/TheGreatMouseDetective.[[/note]] accidentally created by messing up a spell, she's eager to cast an ice spell and asks the others, [[WesternAnimation/Frozen2013 "Do you want to build a snowman?"]], to which they answer with [[LeaningOnTheFourthWall an immediate "no".]]
*** In Elena's song to Antonia to encourage her to keep trying to be a Royal Guard, she tells her to [[WesternAnimation/{{Hercules}} "go the distance"]].
*** [[spoiler:Esteban's HeroicSacrifice and RedemptionEqualsLife]] scene in the climax of the series finale is a direct {{homage}} to ''WesternAnimation/BeautyAndTheBeast'' — in fact, at least one of the crew members [[ProductionThrowback worked on the very scene being referenced]].
*** In the Sirena arc, after Marzel saves the other royals and is accepted by them, Cuco makes a joke that the prince has now become a [[WesternAnimation/TheLittleMermaid1989 "part of that world"]]. Additionally, the sirenas can use their singing voices to put people into trances, referencing Ursula/Vanessa using Ariel's stolen voice to attract Eric before casting a spell to hypnotize him.
*** Elena rising from Takaína and being given magic is a reference to the scene in ''WesternAnimation/AtlantisTheLostEmpire'' where [[spoiler:Kida is imbued with the Heart of Atlantis]].
* The ''WesternAnimation/StarVsTheForcesOfEvil'' episode "Trial By Squire" ends with Star and Marco buying (among other things) gnomes resembling the ones from ''WesternAnimation/GravityFalls''. They then use the catchphrase from ''WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb'', "Yes, yes we are". The sloths that run the store might be a reference to the sloths running the DMV from ''WesternAnimation/{{Zootopia}}''.
* ''Anime/{{Stitch}}'':
** In the first episode, several kids are shown playing a game that is very obviously ''VideoGame/{{Spectrobes}} 2''.
** In the opening, there is a Hidden Mickey in the sushi just after the opening theme.

* ''WesternAnimation/ZootopiaPlus'':
** Near the beginning of "Duke the Musical", Duke proclaims himself as the "Duke of Weasel Town". This references ''Frozen'', which features the Duke of Weselton (which is usually mispronounced Weasel Town) as a character. This counts as an ActorAllusion, as both Dukes have [[Creator/AlanTudyk the same voice actor]].
** During his song, Duke wears the same crown Prince John from ''Robin Hood'' does.

[[folder:20th Century Studios/Fox]]
* ''Film/DodgeballATrueUnderdogStory'' has Creator/{{Fox}} Sports Net signage visible at times during both the dodgeball and cheerleading tournaments (though it's not clear why it's there for the dodgeball tournament, since ESPN-8 "The Ocho" is supposed to be the only one covering the event). [[folder:Disney Channel India]]
* In ''Animation/BhaagamBhaag'', the main character, Sunny, owns a ''Animation/SimpleSamosa'' backpack. Not only do both shows air on Disney Channel India, but they were both created by the same person (Sanjiv Waeerkar).
* ''Animation/SimpleSamosa'':
** "Sumo Momo": The episode's basic plot, as well as several of its plot beats - namely, that both feature a main character musing about a sumo wrestler and being made to fight said sumo wrestler by a friend who assumed they wanted to have a wrestling match with them, and both feature a character going into a rage and defeating the sumo wrestler at the end - are similar to the ''WesternAnimation/MickeyMouse2013'' episode "Tapped Out".
