As of current, Tim Drake's only solo comic is ComicBook/BatmanBeyond where he's a FishOutOfTemporalWater in a post-apocalyptic BadFuture world. Post-reboot, he appeared in Comicbook/TeenTitans, but that series was cancelled (it will be relaunched in late 2014). Tim currently appears in DetectiveComicsRebirth.

They break up, but after Conner comes back to life both are worried what he'll think of them. He doesn't care; it's not like they knew he was coming back, after all.

* AbuseMistake: When Timís friend Ives is working as the mascot at a SuckECheeses, He comes to school so bruised that Tim and their friends Callie and Ariana suspect he is being abused.

* BettyAndVeronica: Tim had a brief love triangle with Ariana (Betty) and Stephanie (Veronica) early in the series.
** Interesting twist in that the Veronica was the blonde and the Betty was the brunette.

to:

* BettyAndVeronica: Tim had a brief love triangle with in the early in the series. He was dating civilian Ariana Dzerchenko (Betty) but was attracted to vigilante Stephanie Brown (Veronica) at the same time. Ironic, because Ariana has Veronica's physical appearance and bitchiness, and Stephanie (Veronica) early has Betty's physical appearance and tomboyishness. Ultimately, Stephanie wins the triangle, with her becoming his most high-profile (and longest) relationship in the series.
** Interesting twist in that ** Even after Stephanie and Tim's breakup, her fake 'death', Tim dating a new girl called Zoanne and later Stephanie's subsequent return to Gotham ó Stephanie was still the Veronica was Veronica, this time to Zoanne's Betty. And again, Stephanie wins the blonde triangle (technically), with Tim breaking up with Zoanne on the phone, and then calling up Stephanie to try and patch things up with her.
** In Red Robin, Tam is now
the new Betty was to Stephanie's Veronica. And Lynx is the brunette.ThirdOptionLoveInterest.
** Any of Tim's civilian girlfriends will end up being the 'Betty' by default due to his working partnership/love-hate-on-off relationship with Stephanie (who is always the Veronica).

* BigBrotherWorship: Tim Drake adores Dick Grayson.

* ClarkKentOutfit: he wore glasses for a while during his short tenure at Brentwood Academy, as sort of a precaution.

to:

* ChewOutFakeOut: After losing nearly all of his biological family Tim sets up an actor to pretend to be his fake uncle so that he doesn't have to go into the foster care system. Batman, being Batman, naturally finds out, and Robin assumes he's about to be reamed out for going behind Bruce's back... but all Bruce can say is that he's so proud of Tim for taking the initiative, and gives him some tips on how to make the deception foolproof.
* ClarkKentOutfit: he He wore glasses for a while during his short tenure at Brentwood Academy, as sort of a precaution.

* EasterEgg: Tim always has band posters up in his room which tend to change with the artist.
** Wonder what class Timís Advanced Egyptian Algebra textbook is for.

* EyeScream: Recurring villain Lynx has one of her eyes ripped out by King Snake as punishment for failing to kill Robin.

* GoofySuit: When Timís friend Ives is working as the mascot at a SuckECheeses he wears a "Rat" costume.
* HeroHarassesHelpers: A large part of Timís job when working with Batman seems to be smoothing things over when Bats does this.

* IHaveThisFriend: Subverted in Robin #58:
-->Robin: Could I ask you for some non-professional advice?\\
Oracle: Talk to Doctor Babs, Robin.\\
Robin: I have this friendÖ\\
Oracle: Hold on. This friend isn't you, is it?\\
Robin: My friend is pregnant.\\
Oracle: Oh.
** Then he has to deny responsibility ó ďNot guilty. Not even a suspect.Ē

* NotADate: Back when Tim, was still dating Arianna, he would occasionally team-up with future girlfriend Stephanie Brown to fight criminals on the street. He keeps on insisting that "it's not a date," but that does not stop Stephanie from shamelessly flirting with him. It also doesn't help that he was giving out mixed messages anyways.

* PickOnSomeoneYourOwnSize: There was a period in The Ď90s, mostly but not entirely in comics by Creator/ChuckDixon, where Two-Face decided he hated Robin more than Franchise/Batman. While this mostly meant Comicbook/Nightwing, he wasn't averse to taking shots at Tim Drake.

* ShipTease: Arguably played between Cassandra Cain (Batgirl II) and Tim shortly after War Games. Also, with Wonder Girl after the death of ComicBook/Superboy (Tim's best friend and Wonder Girl's boyfriend).

to:

* ShipTease: Arguably played between Cassandra Cain (Batgirl II) ReunionKiss: After finding out that his girlfriend wasn't actually dead Robin sweeps her into his arms and gives her a surprise kiss. Right in front of Batman, no less.
* RevealingSkill: In Timís backstory, this is how he learned the secret identities of Batman and Robin (Dick Grayson): by watching news coverage of the Dynamic Duo's escapades, during which Robin performed a complicated gymnastics move (a quadruple somersault) ó which it had been established could be performed only by a small handful of people, including the orphaned circus artist Dick Grayson.
* RoguesGallery:
Tim shortly was the first Robin to acquire his own before graduating to another identity.
* SavvyGuyEnergeticGirl: Tim Drake/Robin (goal-oriented, serious introvert) with Stephanie Brown/Spoiler (plucky, street-smart people person).
* SecondLove: Following his adopted father's footsteps, Tim's first love was Ariana Dzerchenko and his second love was Stephanie Brown. In fact, Tim is Stephanie's second love ó her first boyfriend, Dean, got her pregnant and abandoned her
after War Games. Also, with Wonder Girl after the death of ComicBook/Superboy (Tim's best friend and Wonder Girl's boyfriend).he found out.

* ShipTease: Arguably played between Cassandra Cain (Batgirl II) and Tim shortly after War Games. Also, with Wonder Girl after the death of ComicBook/Superboy (Tim's best friend and Wonder Girl's boyfriend).
* SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan: Stephanie Brown (Spoiler/Batgirl IV) was in a relationship with a sleazy douchebag who knocked her up and left her to fend for herself. Her next boyfriend was NiceGuy nice guy Tim Drake who took care of her during her pregnancy, brought her to birthing classes, and even crossed hundred of miles in one night just to see her at the hospital during her labour.
* StrongGirlSmartGuy: When Cass came to Bludhaven to help out Tim, Batgirl and Robin had this dynamic.
* SuddenNameChange: Stephanie Brown's mother was named "Agnes" when she originally appeared in Detective Comics, but her name was later changed to "Crystal." According to Scott Beatty (who was the first to rename her), he had asked DC editors about the name of the mother but no one could remember, leading to an accidental name change that stuck.
* SuckECheeses: Ives got a job at one, he was too embarrassed to tell his friends about it at first since he was a mascot wearing a rat costume.
* TelescopingStaff: One was given to Tim by ComicBook/LadyShiva.

* ThereAreNoTherapists: In addition to the benefits the various members of the Batfamily could reap from a visit to a good therapist (Dick has actually gone to one) Timís first girlfriend could undoubtedly use some therapy after seeing her father murdered, being kidnapped and forced to help manufacture drugs, and having a classmate try to rape her. Of course it is understandably difficult to trust anyone in that profession working in Gotham.

* TheAlternet : ComicBook/FinalCrisis makes brief mention of a supervillain-created Unternet, which exists alongside the normal Internet. The heroes use it to communicate after Darkseid takes control of all Earth's media and uses it to broadcast Anti-Life. It also made an appearance in Comicbook/RedRobin where Tim gained a new costume while inside it.

* HollywoodAtheist: His dad was AmbigouslyJewish Jewish and mom was Catholic, but after their deaths Tim got jaded with religion.
* LoveTriangle: At one point, Tim was juggling multiple love interests at the same time. He was casually dating Tam Fox out of costume while flirting with Lynx in costume, and all the time still having UST with Steph (they would have probably gotten back together if Steph hadn't refused the kiss). Then there was the reintroduction of Cass Cain... [=FabNic=] had plans to build the triangle/polygon/harem a bit more, but was cut short by the DC reboot.

Added DiffLines:

* RenamedTheSame: Robin to Red Robin. He didnít really give up the name by choice anyway so this let him hang on to it regardless of Dickís decision.

!!!Tropes associated with Tim Drake in general
* AscendedFanboy: He was a longtime fan of the original Batman and Robin.
* AmbiguouslyJewish: Chuck Dixon has mentioned that he had "Jewish" in mind while writing the character, but his series never explicitly stated his religious leanings.
* AudienceSurrogate: Tim is the most 'normal' Robin, thus very relatable. This aspect of him contributes greatly to his popularity.
* BadassNormal: As with all members of the Batfamily.
* BumblingSidekick: Deliberately averted. After the death of Jason Todd, writers like Denny O'Neil knew they had to come up with a damn good reason why Batman would take on another KidSidekick. Making him a hindrance to Batman in any way was shot down because of this.
* ChickMagnet: Despite being kind of a nerd, he has been attracting a lot of superheroines/villainnesses even at a young age, namely Lynx I, Spoiler, Dava and Darla Aquista.
** Jubilee from the Marvel/DC crossover.
** In the Red Robin series, Lynx III.
** Secret and Arrowette in Young Justice
*** "It's the cape. Chicks dig the cape."
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: In the later series, it's common for Tim to be portrayed as the uptight, slightly neurotic and neat freak person he is. But in his early appearances, he was just an average boy who had a messy room, posters of female models on his wall and stays up all night with dorm mates to watch football and play video games.
* ChronicHeroSyndrome: He has often blamed himself for the deaths of classmates that he had failed to save, despite the fact that the victims brought it on themselves. He's also so dedicated to crimefighting that he would drop everything and anything to change into his Robin costume when he sees any sort of crime in his vicinity, mostly at the expense of his girlfriends, family and friends.
* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: Tim's stepmother Dana. When his dad was KilledOffForReal in ComicBook/IdentityCrisis, Dana had a nervous breakdown and shipped off to a sanitarium in Bludhaven the city that would soon be completely destroyed in ComicBook/InfiniteCrisis. It was never confirmed if she was killed in Bludhaven. Neither has her continued existence.
* DependingOnTheArtist: Tim has been drawn differently by multitude of artists in his 20+ year history, but there are a few constants in his appearance: spiky, gelled-up hair; average height and a slim body type.
** Even the spikey hair is gone now. As of the New 52, he usually sports Dick Grayson's old haircut while out of costume, while Dick's hair has gotten longer and more spikey (which is also DependingOnTheArtist).
* Expy: Of Peter Parker. It's no secret that Chuck Dixon based Tim Drake's adventures on the first 50 issues of The Amazing Spiderman. Fans used to compare him to the iconic Marvel superhero, calling him the Peter Parker of Gotham.
* Foil: To Dick Grayson. He is everything Dick Grayson was not, by design. Instead of the whimsical, lighthearted sidekick who spouted catchphrases and said "Golly" a lot, he was an extremely serious and dedicated crime-fighter.
* DistressedDude: Averted. Unlike Dick Grayson constantly needing to be rescued or saved, Tim was deliberately kept out of danger for a long time after putting on the costume. Initially, he operated as Batman's VoiceWithAnInternetConnection so that they could slowly introduce him to danger.
* GradeSchoolCEO: For a time after Bruce's death, Tim Drake (as one of his legally adopted sons) had significant control over Wayne Enterprises as one of its owners. He is apparently still a co-owner along with his father and brothers, despite being a teen.
* HasAType: He has a thing (a.k.a gets turned on) with girls wearing the Batgirl costume. Firstly when Cass wore Barbara's old costume and then later when he sees his on-off girlfriend Steph in her new Batgirl costume. Being Robin himself this isn't a surprise, seeing that Robins are always attracted to Batgirls.
** He may unconsciously have a thing for blonde girls, as evidenced with Steph and Wonder Girl. Ariana even once accused him of it, saying that she bleached her hair because she thought he liked blondes.
* HollywoodNerd: Despite having interests in TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons, Film/BladeRunner and computers, he's a generally attractive and well-adjusted teenage boy. In fact, later on in the series he has seemingly dropped all of his geeky hobbies.
** He's more of a Geek than a nerd, though.
* HypercompetentSidekick: EnforcedTrope. Tim Drake was deliberately portrayed as extremely competent (even moreso than Batman in some ways) in order to justify why Batman would allow another kid to become his sidekick.
* IJustWantToBeNormal: Tim never wanted to be a crime-fighter permanently. He just wanted to be Robin for a while until he could retire and go on with his life.
* JumpedAtTheCall: He became Robin because he figured out who Batman was and recognized Bruce's SanitySlippage without a teen sidekick to keep him honest.
* KidHero: Unlike his predecessors, Tim was the first Robin to operate solo in his own book and was considered more of a hero in his own right than just Batman's KidSidekick.
* LegacyCharacter: Both series were bursting to the seams with these guys. You had: Robin III himself with both his predecessors and his successors, two Batgirls, two female ninjas named Lynx, two Anarkys (one the original, the other a repurposed General), the Red Robin identity (Jason Todd's Countdown suit worn first by the General, then Tim himself), and both ComicBook/Azraels.
* LonelyRichKid
* MissingMom
* NiceGuy: One of his most defining traits. However, he TookALevelInJerkass in the Red Robin series.
* ParentalAbandonment: He was neglected by his jet-setting parents, and was often left alone at home with his housekeeper.
* RedIsHeroic: Tim has always been associated with the color red since his inception.
* SidekickGraduationsStick: His transition from Robin to Red Robin.
* SecretChaser: he knew Batman and Robin's civilian identity since he was nine, and finally sought them out when he noticed that Batman was getting more unstable after the death of Jason Todd.
** Vicki Vale in the Red Robin series -- she figured out 3/4 of the Batfamily identities, with the exception of Steph, Cass and Damian.
* TheSmartGuy: Most Robins play this role on teams, but Tim is the Smart Guy amongst Smart Guys. It's usually acknowledged that he's the most intelligent of all of the Robins, and even Batman himself has said that Tim will one day make a better detective than him.
--> Fabian Nicieza: He is 'the smart one' of the Bat-family, the thinker and planner. I mean, of course Bruce Wayne/Batman is what he is, and Tim isnít quite there yet, but Tim at 17 has a more developed intellect than Bruce at 17 did. Thatís not to say Dick Grayson or Barbara Gordon are dumb, of course theyíre not, but Timís level of thinking is a bit... thicker... than theirs. For me, Dick is about superior reflexive thinking, Barbara about superior operational thinking and Tim is about superior comprehensive, or all-encompassing, thinking."
* ThouShaltNotKill: Following his mentor's footsteps.
* TookALevelInBadass: Yes, he was always badass, but he still managed to take another level in it. According to WordOfGod, Tim's transition into Red Robin was done to (similar to Dick Grayson's own "graduation") symbolize that Tim was now considered one of the most formidable superheroes in the DC community by all of his peers. He was no longer a "sidekick" but someone who could stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the likes of veterans like Comicbook/GreenArrow, the Comicbook/BirdsOfPrey, and anyone else.
* WakeUpGoToSchoolSaveTheWorld: A big component of his characterization in the Robin series. In Red Robin he finally gives up on this trope and ditches school entirely, a year short of graduating high school. (It's hinted that he's homeschooled instead).
* WiseBeyondTheirYears
