* CliffHanger: The comic ends with Rayla leaving on her own to find Viren without telling any of her friends.Viren, and only leaving a note for Callum.

* UnfinishedBusiness: The ghosts of the other four assassins were trapped in the world between life and death because their mission to kill Ezran wasn't completed and because Rayla betrayed them. Seeing Rayla alive and without her binding to kill Ezran is enough to convince them that Rayla had completed the mission, their business is finished, and they pass on.

Downplayed in that their business only ''appeared'' to be finished.

* MistakenForMurderer: The ghosts of the other four assassins still had their wrist bindings for Ezran, and when they saw that Rayla didn't have hers, they erroneously concluded that she had succeeded in killing Ezran, and this belief caused their bindings to fall off too. * ArsonMurderAndJaywalking: When Callum tells Rayla about the possibility of rebuilding the Moonhenge and opening the death gate, his reasons against doing so are, in order: that Lujanne told him not to; that going through the death gate is extremely dangerous to the body, mind, and spirit; and that Rayla would have to swim. In water.

''Through the Moon'' is the ComicBookContinuation of the animated series ''WesternAnimation/TheDragonPrince''. It is written by Peter Wartman and illustrated by Xanthe Bouma.

The comic takes place after the season three finale where the human kingdoms made peace with Xadia. Everybody thinks it's over, but Rayla is still worried, because they never found Viren's body and she also never found out what happened to her parents and Runaan. Then Lujanne writes Ezran to come to the moon nexus to revive Phoe-Phoe and Callum, Rayla and Soren decide to come with him. While they are there, they find out that the nexus used to be a portal between life and death. Callum and Rayla decide to rebuild the portal to get an answer to their questions, but opening the portal may be more dangerous than they expect.

!!This comic provides examples of:

* AffectionateNickname: Allen calls Lujanne "Janey-Lu". When Callum hears this he immediately figures out that they are in a relationship.
* CliffHanger: The comic ends with Rayla leaving on her own to find Viren without telling any of her friends.
* InternalReveal: Rayla finds out that Viren isn't dead.
* InterspeciesRomance: Callum (human) and Rayla (elf) are still a couple and Lujanne (elf) has also started a relationship with Allen (human).
* LyingToProtectYourFeelings: This plays an important role in the story. Lujanne tells Callum that "White lies are illusions you build with your words to protect the hearts of those you love". He uses this to as a justification to convince Rayla to lie to Lujanne about the moon nexus.
