While Atlee is the third hero to use the name Terra she is the first to get her own series. For a character sheet containing tropes relating to Altee and how she developed as a character over time see the [[Characters/PowerGirl Power Girl character sheet]], for tropes relating to the previous user of the title Terra see the [[Characters/ComicbookTeenTitansNewTeenTitans New Teen Titans character sheet]].

!!Tropes in ''Terra'' Volume 1:
* AloofDarkHairedGirl: Terra doesn't really know how to do surface dweller interactions, and acts cold and distant to anyone who approaches her. She isn't interested in trying to make friends with anyone until the final issues.
* BadBlackBarf: Deathcoil's natural form is zombie-like, and he can possess others by spitting himself on them as black goo.
* BeneathTheEarth: Altee is from an advanced hidden subterranean culture and helps and fights several others over the course of the comic.
* BigCreepyCrawlies: The Illumi-Mites are a subterranean race who look like large flying bugs, about a foot long. Altee is friends with their prince K'a.
* BuriedAlive: Terra rescues a group of miners trapped in a tiny pocket of air in a collapsed mine.
* DishingOutDirt: Atlee has volunteered to become Strata's new champion and superhero and is given the power to control rocks and dirt through the same method as the previous two Terras, even though those two lost their minds.
* DrillTank: Richard Faulkner is developing a large drill to sell to the government for military and scientific use.
* DueToTheDead: Atlee is decidedly disturbed and upset by Deathcoil using the dead of Markovia as his puppets. As she yells at him they belong to the earth now and should not be disturbed.
* DugTooDeep: Richard Faulkner's experiments with his drill tank dig deep enough to find a pool of Quixium, and while he does get superpowers from his exposure to it he starts becoming unhinged as well, like several others who gained powers from the liquid "metal".
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Richard Faulkner and Veronica are both incredibly amoral self absorbed people, but they really do care for each other and Veronica being killed by her exposure to Quixium sends Richard spiraling into madness.
* FishOutOfWater: Atlee does not really know how to act like a normal human despite posing as a human superhero, and does not understand social cues.
* FunnyBackgroundEvent: As Dr. Mid-Nite is treating Atlee, who he determines passed out from overworking herself, Charlie the owl is terrifying the little critters in tanks sitting on the countertops.
* HatesBeingTouched: Atlee really does not like being touched, which makes her seem rather volatile to other heroes.
* HeKnowsTooMuch: The unfortunate man who was driving the drill tank when Faulkner fell in a pool of Quixium has his head crushed by the industrialist to prevent him from telling anyone what he's seen.
* HeroicRROD: Atlee using her powers constantly without rest causes her to blackout after her rescuing a community from the Lavarians. She remains unconscious long enough for Power Girl to carry her from South America to the JSA's headquarters on the US's east coast and for Dr. Mid-Nite to run a number of tests on her before she wakes up.
* MagmaMan: The Lavarians are a subterranean race who look like they're wearing Tiki masks and can control lava.
* RedeemingReplacement: Both of the previous Terras went a little mad, and the first one was an outright villain. Altee is concerned she may be headed for the same fate as the second Terra who was created through the same process as she, but there are no signs of such and she is instead just a kindhearted if intense girl.
* StockYuck: When Atlee decides to take up ComicBook/PowerGirl's offer of friendship the Kryptonian takes her out for sushi since Terra doesn't know what surface foods she likes. Atlee ends up letting every bite she takes fall out of her mouth with a disgusted face until Karen interrupts their meal to take her for a burger instead.
* TakenForGranite: Richard Faulkner's exposure to Quixium turned him into a being of living metal. When his girlfriend tries it out her metallic form quickly solidifies.
* TheyWouldCutYouUp: Richard Faulkner understand that his business associates want to experiment on him after his change from being submerged in Quixium and kills them instead.
* UndergroundCity: Altee is from the beautiful glowing underground city of Strata.
