* RapeAsBackstory: Though none of the adaptations nor the New 52 reboot mention this, it was confirmed in the original continuity that Koriand'r was raped by Citadel members. In fact, she was nearly executed by Komand'r for killing one of her own abusers before they were kidnapped by the Psions. While she doesn't angst it about it, preferring to move on and leave these horrible memories behind, reminding her of it is a {{Trigger}} for her.

* ThouShaltNotKill: Starfire does not adhere to this, since she not only isn't an earthling, but because she was born in a warrior culture and trained as one. This has led to conflict between Nightwing and Donna Troy. She does her best to respect Earth rules, but when she's off-Earth, she is more willing to go by her own opinions.

* TeamMom: Is by far the most reasonable, level-headed, and experienced member of the Titans in the ''[[ComicBook/DCRebirth Rebirth]]'' continuity, providing heartfelt support whenever necessary and taking charge when Damian's emotions and prejudices are getting the best of him. She is also very affectionate to the younger members of the Titans as well as ComicBook/{{Superboy}}, going so far as to pinch him on the cheek while welcoming him to join the Titans anytime he wishes after seeing him in action despite Damian's protests.

* SecretPublicIdentity: Starfire's identity is public knowledge, although she has taken on "Kory Anders" as a legal name.

* CartwrightCurse: Most of Kory's relationships besides Dick Grayson have ended disastrously; Her first human boyfriend before Robin was an undercover H.I.V.E. agent ordered to spy on the Titans and was executed after genuinely falling in love with her (though she never found out the truth) and she was widowed twice, both times with Tamaranean men who died [[HeroicSacrifice heroically]].

** BewareTheNiceOnes: She's also extremely powerful and when she gets pissed, '''''look out'''''.

* ActionGirl: And ''[[BadassPrincess a royal one]]'' to boot.

* MostCommonSuperPower: Starfire has always been drawn to be bustier than all her fellow female teammates. It was one of the reason Terra I called her "balloon bod" to insult her. Some artists have drawn her to have the third largest breasts in DC, behind only the [[WonderWoman second]] and [[PowerGirl first]].

* TheFashionista: For a time, Starfire had a successful career as a fashion model.
** FanserviceModel: Considering her sensuous culture and all the times she appeared naked in OFFICIAL stories, she was probably modelling swimsuits, bikinis and lingerie.

* FightMagnet: Kori, Stella, and [[spoiler:Atlee]] spend their time travling to Strata discussing the fact that trouble always manages to find them.

* BiTheWay: When Choor suggests a foursome between himself, Stella, Kori, and [[spoiler: Atlee, Atlee]] says "Sure, why not." Kori is a little more apprehensive because Stella was passed out from drinking at the time.

** Soren Johnson, he was a famous Cancer doctor know to preform miracles, this was because he had the power to remove cancer from his patients, though it only made his own worse. [[spoiler: The tumor in his brain eventually turned him crazy and he went from a healer to a serial killer with telepathic abilties.]]

* FightMagnet: Kori, Stella, and [[spoiler: Atlee]] spend their time travling to Strata discussing the fact that trouble always manages to find them.
* GuestStarPartyMember: [[spoiler: Dick Grayson comes to Keywest in issue 7 and leaves halfway into issue 8.]]

* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: Kori sees no problem in getting intimately close with everyone. Same goes for [[spoiler: Atlee.]]

AliensSpeakingEnglish: [[Justified]] because Tamaraneans can learn any language from physical contact, she generally enjoys doing it by kissing.

* BloodKnight: In her original appearances she's actually quite fierce and vicious, the most likely to resort to excessive force in battle, considering she was raised in a warrior culture.

* NamesTheSame: Koriand'r is actually the third DC Comics character to use the moniker Starfire, after the Russian superhero (who now goes by Red Star) from the Silver Age ''Titans'' series, and an ActionGirl who briefly headlined her own comic in the seventies before getting absorbed into the ''Star Hunters'' book, which was eventually cancelled.

* Despite having lived on Earth for a little while now, Koriand'r, also known as Starfire, realizes she doesn't actually know much about Earth or its inhabitants. So after a little advice from Superman, Kori decides to move to Key West, Florida. With the help of Police Chief Stella Gomez, her brother Sol, and various locales Kori begins her peaceful learning adventure, but trouble is never far away. Sadly ended after 12 issues, but Starfire as part of ComicBook/DCRebirth will be joining the ComicBook/TeenTitans again.
