* Retraux: The video game, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is a curious case. It's about as old-school beat'-em-up as you can get. Featuring Chiptune chiptunes (by Anamanaguchi), 8-bit spriting, and so on. So much so that it's frequently likened to VideoGame/RiverCityRansom, and/or VideoGame/StreetsOfRage[=/=]VideoGame/FinalFight, almost to the point of looking like a SpiritualSuccessor of them. This on a PS3 (and Xbox360)... only. As a downloadable game. With none of the annoyances of a NES/SNES-era games. There is good reason to why a lot of people are interested in this one game. It's very much an old-school gamer's love letter.

* ViewersAreMorons: After plays a cover of "I'm a Believer", Young Neil says this extremely stiff quote.
-->"That was an extremely bad cover of 'I'm a Believer' by The Monkees."

* Kissgusting:
** In Volume 3, there's a rather disconcerting close-up of Todd and Lynette passionately making out. The disquieting Written Sound Effects ("slurp", "suck", "lick") and the beads of saliva flying don't help.
** Scott and Knives' "experimental" make-out sesh in Volume 6, which starts passionately but ends up extremely unerotic and traumatizing. It wasn't helped by the detailed illustration of a shocked Scott and Knives with a string of saliva connecting their lips.

**When Wallace is first telling Scott about Lucas Lee, Scott confuses him first with Luke Wilson (the actor), and then with a guy who was in a band that Sex Bob-Omb played with (also named Luke Wilson). Some time later, Scott runs into the latter Luke Wilson, and asks if he is Lucas Lee (mind you, this is after Scott had met, fought, and defeated Lee).
