* TimePolice: As his name suggests, the Time Guardian monitors timelines and tries to prevent things going wrong. He's a particularly self-serving and manipulative example, though, misleading Killpower into acting as his enforcer.

''Killpower: The Early Years'' is a comic book limited series from the Creator/MarvelUK imprint of Creator/MarvelComics.

The series, set in the shared Franchise/MarvelUniverse, is a {{Prequel}} starring Julius, the titular Killpower, one of the leads of ''ComicBook/MotormouthAndKillpower''. Created as a SuperSoldier and artificially aged to adulthood, Killpower was raised by the EvilInc corporation Mys-Tech to become one of their assassins. Eventually, he became aware that Mys-Tech were the bad guys and sided with Motormouth to fight them.

However, in ''The Early Years'' Julius is much, much younger. He hasn't met Motormouth yet, he still trusts his creators, and he doesn't quite register that killing people is bad behaviour. All of which makes him a useful tool for the Time Guardian, a powerful entity who needs someone he can easily manipulate to act as his enforcer.

Mys-Tech aren't happy to have one of their projects stolen away, though. And they have the TimeTravel technology to send someone to get Julius back. Chaos ensues.

* FalseFlagOperation: Rama-Tut has asps released into his own dining chamber so that he can claim the sorceress Samira is trying to murder his guest Killpower. They've actually been rendered harmless and released by one of Rama-Tut's own servants.
* {{Prequel}}: The miniseries acts as a prequel to both ''ComicBook/MotormouthAndKillpower'' and ''ComicBook/CodenameGenetix''.
* TheGameComeToLife: [[invoked]]The Time Guardian manifests via an arcade game and seemingly draws Killpower into the game. He's actually been transported to ancient Egypt by the Guardian's powers, and the game is irrelevant - but the naive Killpower is more easily manipulated when he thinks it's part of a game.
* TimePolice: As his name suggests, the Time Guardian monitors timelines and tries to prevent things going wrong. He's a particularly self-serving and manipulative example, though, misleading Killpower into acting as his enforcer.
