Moved to Detective Comics 2011, Adding storylines

'''Detective Comics''' is a 2016 comic book series published by Creator/DCComics as part of the ComicBook/DCRebirth branding initiative.

When the ComicBook/New52 started, the series was relaunched as ''ComicBook/DetectiveComics2011'' with super-star writer and illustrator Tony S. Daniel following his run on ''Batman'' with Creator/ScottSnyder similarly jumping from Pre-Flashpoint ''Detective Comics'' onto ''ComicBook/Batman2011''.

Following Tony S. Daniel was Creator/PeterTomasi who wrote James Gordon taking on the title of Batman. With the relaunch of all DC titles, the run was handed off to Creator/JamesTynionIV, who had previous written ''ComicBook/BatmanEternal'' and ''ComicBook/BatmanAndRobinEternal'', to helm the title for the majority of DC Rebirth.

Tynion IV's run, known in collected form as ''The Rise and Fall of the Batmen'' span from issue #934 up into issue #981, as well as an epilogue in issue #1000 before handing it onto Creator/BryanHill. Issue #982 is a one-shot issue by Michael Moreci and Sebastián Fiumara.
