New trope, more fitting for Froggy's armor.

* {{Expy}}: Tony Stuck is a comedic nod to [[ComicBook/IronMan Tony Stark]]. He looks similar to Stark in his profile photo, and he's implied to be similarly rich and tech-savvy. Froggy calls "Uncle Stuck" to send him high-tech equipment and gadgets to help the [[{{Muggles}} non-super]] ''Lawak Kampus'' cast on their dimensional travels. Froggy's green PoweredArmor is sent by Tony Stuck in pieces that fly to his location. The circular {{hand blast}}ers are also strikingly similar.

* PoweredArmor: Froggy calls [[{{Expy}} Tony Stuck]] a second time to send a set of his own battle armor, and the pieces (that Froggy modified for his own use) fly to his location and tap into place on his body. While not a full set of armor, the leg enhancements help him fly, and his arm enhancements can shoot mega blaster cannons.

* MistakenForSuperpowered: Bepop is initially ecstatic to be paired with Papa Zola, who acts like a confident superhero [[SuperheroesWearCapes and wears a cape]]. Papa Zola was a superhero [[RefugeeFromTVLand in his own show and game (that he got taken out of)]], but he ironically doesn't have superpowers while the {{Kid Hero}}es that do look less obviously heroic. [[BrokenPedestal This disappoints Bepop significantly once he learns that Papa Zola isn't as brave as he boasts himself to be when he runs away from the enemies right after daring them to a fight.]]

''[=BoBoiBoy Galaxy x Lawak Kampus: SUPERIOR=]'' is a {{Crossover}} comic between animated series ''Animation/BoBoiBoyGalaxy'' and comic series ''ComicBook/LawakKampus'' (aka ''ComicBook/KusoHighSchool''), made by comic artists of both studios (Monsta and Kadokawa Gempak Starz).

The main casts of both works are having a football game between their schools when Adu Du's endeavours to capture Gigabot, a large {{dimensional travel|ler}}ling power sphera, lands him in the middle of the match. Gigabot then vanishes with Commander Kokoci and Mr. Noodle, leaving behind 8 floating hexagonal portals. Both groups split up into pairs, each comprising of at least one member from each group, to venture into the portals' worlds and rescue their kidnapped superiors.

This crossover [[MilestoneCelebration commemorates the 15th year anniversary]] of ''Lawak Kampus''. It was published in 2018, selling exclusively in POPULAR bookstores. The online store description can be found [[https://www.popularonline.com.my/malay/catalog/product/view/_ignore_category/1/id/111101/s/9789674786762/?did=8317 here]].
----
!!''[=BoBoiBoy Galaxy x Lawak Kampus: SUPERIOR=]'' contains examples of:
* ActuallyPrettyFunny: While Sai retorts in anger at Ami calling his shield/helmet a satellite dish, his ([[NotSoStoic usually equally stoic]]) twin sister Shielda can hardly contain her laughter.
* AllLoveIsUnrequited: Per the usual with the ''Lawak Kampus'' cast, Xena is in love with Vanness, who wants nothing to do with her. Anthony considers Xena to be his beloved but she barely even notices him. Xena even calls Fang her "prince" for a bit, with no such reciprocation from him.
* AngstNuke: Yaya's BerserkButton is pressed when Froggy says he's the top of his class, causing her to charge up in anger and yell, releasing a gravitational blast from herself that sends all the enemies flying. [[MoodWhiplash Her mood is quickly turned around when Froggy reminds her that they attend different schools.]]
* ApatheticStudent: Implied. The ''Lawak Kampus'' students tag along with the heroes' rescue mission not because they want to help save their teacher, Mr. Noodle, but to explore new dimensions for their own personal gains. They apparently couldn't care less for Mr. Noodle.
--> '''[=BoBoiBoy=]''': Hold on. What about your teacher? Aren't you worried about him?\\
'''Lawak Kampus students:''' What do we care. Do our faces look like we care about him?\\
'''[=BoBoiBoy=]''': I- I pity your teacher.
* ArtShift:
** Each chapter [[note]](except for Chapters 4 and 8, both drawn by Ariieya)[[/note]] is drawn by a different artist, leading to every chapter being in a different artstyle.
** For the "cover" illustration that precedes each chapter, most of them are done by a different artist than the one who drew the chapter itself, resulting in drastically different styles for the same characters and settings. For the cases in which both cover illustration and chapter are drawn by the same artist, the former tends to be more detailed than the latter, particularly in lighting and coloring. The only exception is Chapter 2, in which Toadfrogs draws both of them in equal detail.
* AttackItsWeakPoint:
** Vanness notices that the monsters are weakened when attacked under the neck, and proceeds to shoot at it while telling [=BoBoiBoy=] to do the same. This weak point doesn't apply to their boss, however, so Vanness has [=BoBoiBoy=] distract him while he looks for it. Noticing that hitting the hexagonal panel on its nape is effective, they keep attacking it until the object falls off. It turns out to be the [[InterdimensionalTravelDevice escape door from that dimension]], so they inform the others to find the hexagonal panel in each of their respective dimensions.
** Xena uses her MagicMirror to find Haliaman's blind spots, which appear to his joints, chest and forehead, so Fang attacks them to finally knock the gingerbread man down. Xena then looks for Becky the baker's blind spot to be her nose, and throws flour to send her into a sneezing fit.
* BadassAdorable: The natives of the dimension in "Dream World of the Clouds" appear as living plushies, but not docile ones. Yaya and Froggy have to fight several red-eyed animal plushies (as well as a plush mushroom and ice cream) and the KillerTeddyBear of a king once they enter his castle. However, they're only hostile due to the king being mind-controlled and his subordinates following suit. Once the object causing it is knocked off, they return to being docile.
* BaitAndSwitch: Instead of Mr. Tom-Tom's rollercoaster being a trap, the actual trap is set for those who ''don't'' go on the ride. Sai and Yumi are disgruntled at being lied to, but uneasy that there was no trap... only to find that Shielda and Ami have been turned into PeoplePuppets.
--> '''Mr. Tom-Tom:''' I'm sorry, ladies. You two are mistaken. I did set up a trap, but not for your friends... BUT FOR YOU!.
* BattleBoomerang: Yumi uses a boomerang to strike Shielda's shield and cut through the strings from Mr. Tom-Tom's hands, which stops him from using Ami and Shielda as PeoplePuppets.
* BerserkButton: Yaya does not like being told that she's not the top student of her class. Hearing Froggy proclaim himself to be the top of his class makes her hands ball up into fists and release an AngstNuke. She only calms down when he reminds her that they attend different schools. When Froggy says that he heard [[FriendlyRival Ying]] is the No. 1 student of her class, Yaya retorts that their scores are tied.
* BigEater: Xena, who wishes to devour as much as she can at the land made of sweets. She still wants to grab a bite before she and Fang are about to leave, and gets a toothache for her troubles.
* BlindedByTheLight: After [=BoBoiBoy=] Lightning's sword scratches him, Gigabot roars and emits a bright glow which blinds the others. He has disappeared once they open their eyes, having only left behind 8 dimensional doors.
* BookDumb: Discussed. Gopal and Aditas share a disdain for books and have grades that are average or below, but the former asserts that it doesn't make them stupid. In a quiz for their freedom, Aditas beats Nostra Kamus by answering all of his questions, even one that his big book doesn't have the answer to, with the aid of a digital tablet. Aditas says that he may not be the smartest student, but he's good at getting information quickly.
* BooksThatBite: Living books attack Gopal and Aditas in the "Pagar Sesat Perpustakaan" dimension. Their teeth are lined on the covers, which makes the book its mouth and most of its body besides added eyes and feet. Gopal turns several of them into waffles, but Aditas makes a Mathematics book explode by answering the question it asks correctly.
* BooksVsScreens: Aditas succeeds at a quiz for his and Gopal's freedom because he's quick enough to look up the answers on his tablet instead of knowing it off the top of his head from a book. Nostra Kamus knows he's truly beaten when even his book doesn't have all the answers. Aditas is happy to exchange knowledge and gives the tablet to him, and Nostra Kamus is enthusiastic to learn more beyond his outdated books.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: The first chapter has Vanness described as the main character of ''Lawak Kampus'' several times. Aditas proclaims that Vanness can't lose the football game because of that fact, and Vanness keeps thinking that [=BoBoiBoy=] is trying to steal his popularity as main character.
* BreathWeapon:
** The lizard/skink-like monsters in the "World of Monsters" breath explosive fire.
** Si Kosong's new hand puppet is a HandCannon that looks like himself, and bright lasers shoot out of the mouth.
* BrokenPedestal: Bebop was excited to be grouped with Papa Zola, a self acclaimed superhero who looks the part... until it turns out that he has no superpowers. The way that Bebop learns this is far from flattering, as Papa Zola feigns courage while approaching the enemy... only to flee.
* CallingYourAttacks: Both the heroes ''and'' the [[{{Muggles}} non-powered characters]] of ''Lawak Kampus'' have names for their attacks, which they exclaim aloud.
* DeadHatShot: Subverted. Mr. Tom-Tom's top hat flies off his head when one of his giant marionette puppets falls down on him. He gets up with a splitting headache not long after, much to everyone's surprise.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: Xena and Fang take down Haliaman... only to find no hexagonal panel on him to escape the dimension. Then his master, Becky, comes at them with a RollingPinOfDoom that has the panel on it.
--> '''Xena:''' Fang! She's the real boss of this dimension!
* DimensionalTraveler: Gigabot is a [[MechanicalLifeforms Power Sphera]] with the ability to travel across dimensions. He leaves behind 8 doors which each lead to a different dimension, each of which contains a hexagonal panel that unlocks another portal to leave that dimension.
* EdibleAmmunition: Besides her RollingPinOfDoom, Becky the ChefOfIron throws delicious pastries at Fang and Xena because [[ToServeMan she wants to fatten them for her special recipe]]. Fang is tempted to eat more [[TrademarkFavouriteFood red carrot donuts]], but Xena shakes him out of it, and he listens since he already ate enough donuts to undergo a TemporaryBulkChange.
* ExtradimensionalEmergencyExit: The characters are split into pairs, each of which enter one of 8 portals that appear when Gigabot, a [[DimensionalTraveler dimensional traveling]] Power Sphera, disappears with Mr. Noodle and Commander Kokoci. Each dimension requires them to find [[InterdimensionalTravelDevice a hexagonal panel]] to escape. [=BoBoiBoy=] and Vaness defeat a monstrous skink wielding it, upon defeat it ran away to call its [[MamaBear mother]]. The two just manage to escape via portal to evade a fight with her.
* EvilPuppeteer: Mr. Tom-Tom appears as a kindly host of Carnifaria, but then he uses people as PeoplePuppets, and enlarged actual puppets in combat. Subverted once the [[MindControlDevice hexagonal panel]] is removed from his hat, and he's back to being a genuinely cheerful carnival host.
* FacePalm: After Papa Zola accidentally drops the key into the pool of boiling water, ''both'' Bepop and [[EvenTheDogIsAshamed Cattus]] smack their own faces in disappointment.
* FauxHorrific: Being in a maze-like library is apparently a nightmare for (the frankly BookDumb) Gopal and Aditas.
--> '''Aditas''': This place is scary... so many books... I can't breathe...
* FlashBack: The "Prehistoric Toy World" chapter starts with Papa Zola, Cattus and Bepop running from some toy soldiers. Bepop and Papa Zola's conversation on how they got to this point has two flashbacks from 5 and 10 minutes ago: Bepop tells Papa Zola to use his powers to get a hexagonal key from the toy soldiers, not knowing that he doesn't have powers. While this led to Papa Zola getting chased, Bepop took the key for himself while the soldiers were away.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: Just as [=BoBoiBoy=] throws his lightning swords at Gigabot to get him to release Mr. Noodle and Commander Kokoci, the latter yells for [=BoBoiBoy=] to hold his fire a little too late. [[spoiler:It turns out that [[GoodAllAlong Gigabot bears no ill will at all]], and only appeared hostile and took away Mr. Noodle and Kokoci because he thought that [[NiceJobBreakingItHero he was being attacked first]].]]
* GoodAllAlong: Initially represented as the comic's antagonist who controls the enemies that the good guys have to defeat to escape their respective dimension, [[spoiler:Gigabot only wanted to invite Mr. Noodle and Commander Kokoci for afternoon tea, but when [=BoBoiBoy=] attacked him, he took them to his own dimension, and apologised for being rough as he fled to defend himself. As for those under his control through the hexagonal panels, it was only to collect exotic ingredients for his tea. When Gigabot is defeated and Adu Du is about to claim control over him, Mr. Noodle and Kokoci beat Adu Du up, break his remote control and explain what really happened.]]
* HairRaisingHare: Downplayed and subverted. Bit and Ban are a pair of [[LivingToys living plush]] bunnies who don't look all that happy when Froggy and Yaya first meet them. Their visible stitches add to their jaded looks. Bit lies to them that the ones they're searching for is in the king's castle, which leads Yaya and Froggy to battle hostile plushies, including the king. Bit's intentions are to get outside help to free King Teddy and his subordinates from being mind controlled, which he explains after the plan works and he apologises for lying.
* HandCannon: In place of Si Kosong's usual yellow hand puppet in the "Nightmare Dimension", he whips out a "Hand Puppet C-100" to blast away the nightmare creatures. The puppet cannon looks like himself and [[BreathWeapon shoots bright blasts from its mouth]]. It starts to spark and glow after getting damaged, so Si Kosong throws it at the last fear (a giant receipt) to blow it up.
* IKnowMortalKombat: With his gaming experience in "[[FictionalVideoGame Cicak Hunter]]", Vanness not only deduces that the leader of the lizard/skink monsters would be at the peak of the mountain as every level has a boss, but also that [[AttackItsWeakPoint their weak point is under the neck]], as the same applies in that video game.
* ImMelting: Narrowly avoided. Toy-Rex's punishment for those who stole from his treasures is to melt them in a pool of boiling water. Cattus falls into it by accident, but he leaps out in time with his giant form. Only the stolen key actually gets melted, triggering the portal the heroes need.
* IndyEscape: In a maze of library halls, Gopal accidentally steps on a button that triggers a giant paper ball to roll his way. [[NoSell After his attempt to turn the ball into food is ineffective]], he's pulled out of the way by Aditas into a gap between the bookshelves.
* InterdimensionalTravelDevice: The 8 giant hexagons that [[DimensionalTraveler Gigabot]] leaves behind are gates to other dimensions. In each one, a yellow hexagonal panel must be located to unlock the exit door from that dimension.
* {{Irony}}: Yaya figures herself lucky to be paired with Froggy, who she considers to be the most normal of the ''Lawak Kampus'' cast as the OnlySaneMan. The irony lies in that most of said cast is human while Froggy is an anthromorphic frog.
* KillerTeddyBear: The "Dream World of the Clouds" chapter features a kingdom of live plushies who are ruled over by a teddy bear for a king. Due to him being possessed by the hexagonal chip, he and his servants are hostile to anyone who he sees as a threat to his treasure. After Yaya and Froggy knock it off, the living plushes return to normal.
* LetsSplitUpGang: Ami and Yumi's idea to find the others and avoid getting trapped is to split and pair up the twins. One pair (Ami and Shielda) stays on the ground while the other (Yumi and Sai) goes on the rollercoaster. That way, each pair is of equal capability regardless of circumstance.
* LivingToys:
** The "Dream World of the Clouds" has the visual appeal of a SugarBowl, and the inhabitants are living plushies, most of them themed after animals.
** The "Prehistoric Toy World" chapter, as the name suggests, contains living toys of old. Papa Zola, Cattus and Bepop are chased by toy soldiers who answer to a [[TRexpy Toy-Rex]].
* MagicMirror: The mirror in Xena's bag can show her visions of elsewhere, attack with reflected light ([[NoSell but not with much effect]]), and display blind spots on enemies. She initially mistakes it for a regular mirror before the glass shows Fang about to be baked alive. She uses it in battle later to point out Haliaman and Becky's [[AttackItsWeakPoint blind spots for Fang to attack]].
* MeaningfulName: Haliaman is a giant gingerbread man who fights Xena and Fang. "Halia" is Malay for "ginger".
* MindControlDevice: Each dimension that Gigabot's doors lead to have a "boss" that possesses a hexagonal panel which doubles as both the InterdimensionalTravelDevice for the heroes as well as the instigator for why they're hostile in the first place. Gigabot controls them [[spoiler:to get them to obtain exotic ingredients for the tea he makes for Kokoci and Mr. Noodle, and also]] to make sure nothing interferes with his plans. While the specific effects seem to vary, some victims recall the sudden appearance of the hexagon marking the point that they lost control of their actions.
* MistakenForFlirting: Ying tries to get along with Anthony by stating that they're friends because they're working together to find Kokoci and Mr. Noodle. However, Anthony interprets this as a love confession and apologises, saying that he "understands [her] feelings but [his] heart belongs to Xena," much to Ying's annoyance.
* MistakenForThief: King Teddy doesn't believe that Yaya and Froggy are in his castle for any reason other than to steal his treasure. The king is only hostile due to [[MindControlDevice the hexagonal panel]] on his nose distorting his mind.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: It is because of [=BoBoiBoy=] attacking [[spoiler:Gigabot that he kidnaps Commander Kokoci and Mr. Noodle. He only intended to invite them for afternoon tea, only to end up taking them to his home dimension as he fled to defend himself.]] [=BoBoiBoy=] is quite sheepish when the consequences of what he did are explained to him.
* NoSell:
** Neither [=BoBoiBoy=]'s lightning nor Vanness' sniper slingshot are effective on the giant skink monsters... that is until they [[AttackItsWeakPoint find their weak spot]].
** Gopal attacks the [[IndyEscape giant paper ball rolling his way]] with a blast that turns it into a type of fritter called "kuih cucur badak", but it does nothing to change its size or speed.
** Neither Xena's mirror attack nor Fang's shadow animals do any damage to the giant gingerbread fighter Haliaman, until they find and attack his blind spots.
---> '''Fang:''' Is this biscuit or rock?!
* NotSoStoic: Both of the aloof Shield twins loosen up during their time with Ami and Yumi at Carnifaria. Shielda can't help but snicker at her brother's shield being called a satellite dish. As for Sai, who gets dragged onto a rollercoaster, he's hesitant to let go of the handlebar at first. Then Yumi says letting go as the ride descends is the best part, and Sai tries it out... and enjoys it.
* OminousFloatingCastle: Looming over the land of SolidClouds is a castle on a cloud of its own, which Yaya and Froggy reach by flying. It's quite saccharine in design, fitting for the SugarBowl that the "Dream World of the Clouds" appears to be, but it's inside where they have to fight hostile living plushies.
* OnlySaneMan: Froggy is the one among his zany classmates who acts the most sensibly. Lampshaded by Yaya's thoughts; she's happy to team up with Froggy, who she considers to be the most normal of the ''Lawak Kampus'' cast.
* PeoplePuppets: Shielda and Ami unwillingly fight Sai and Yumi as Mr. Tom-Tom puppeteers the former two, apparently synchronising them with his own marionette puppets. After Yumi cuts the puppet strings with a BattleBoomerang, Shielda and Ami can control their own bodies again.
* PstandardPsychicPstance: Parodied. Anthony doesn't have psychic powers, but that doesn't stop him from pointing his forefingers to his head and saying that he'll stop his opponents in football with his "psychic powers".
* RecruitTheMuggles: In this case, the muggles hired themselves. The ''[=BoBoiBoy=]'' heroes don't want the ''Lawak Kampus'' cast to follow in the interdimensional rescue because they don't have superpowers to protect themselves. The LK cast want to explore different worlds, so Froggy orders gadgets to aid his powerless comrades, and the heroes finally relent. They all follow Fang's suggestion for them to team up by pairs, (at least) one member with powers and another without.
* RedEyesTakeWarning:
** Gigabot has slanted red robotic eyes, and he's the comic's main antagonist who takes Commander Kokoci and Mr. Noodle to another dimension. [[spoiler:Subverted, he's revealed to have been GoodAllAlong.]]
** After [=BoBoiBoy=] and Vaness knock the hexagonal panel off a {{Size Shift|er}}ing skink monster, it reverts to the size of a puppy and no longer has red glowing eyes. However, the [[MamaBear highly protective mother of that monster]] appears not long with red glowing eyes as well. [[ExtradimensionalEmergencyExit They swiftly avoid fighting her]].
** In between King Teddy's red angry eyes is the hexagonal panel in place of his nose. It turns out his eyes are naturally red, but he's no longer hostile after the panel is knocked off of him.
** One panel of Yaya has her with red eyes as she retorts at Froggy's remark about Ying being the top student of her school (instead of Yaya) with "The two of us are tied!" When it comes to studies, Yaya and Ying take their FriendlyRivalry ''very'' seriously.
* RiseOfZitboy: Bepop's face is covered in bulging pimples as usual. At one point, he uses a whip against enemy toy soldiers... only for the act to also pop many of his pimples as he wails in agony.
* RocketPunch: Ami finds a rocket gauntlet in her backpack, which she launches at the featureless face of a giant marionette to make it let go of her sister.
* RollingPinOfDoom: Once Haliaman is down, Becky breaks out a large metal rolling pin to attack Fang and Xena with, whacking with such strength that it makes holes in the floor. The hexagonal panel being on it indicates her to be the real boss that Fang and Xena must defeat. Xena directs light to her rolling pin to heat it up to make her drop it, and Fang swiftly ties her up once she does.
* SizeShifter:
** The monster that scolds [=BoBoiBoy=] and Vanness for attacking its siblings isn't very intimidating at first since it's the size of a puppy compared to them. However, it then grows into an even bigger monster than the ones they attacked before.
** Mr. Tom-Tom's dolls can fit inside his jacket, but when he uses them in battle, they grow to tower over his opponents.
** After Papa Zola fails at getting Cattus to use his ability (granted by his robot collar, Bellbot) to change sizes on command, the seemingly harmless feline finally enlarges himself when he falls into boiling water, leaping out of the pool and trashing nearby hostiles with ease.
* SolidClouds: "Dream World of the Clouds" takes place in a world where live plushies live on clouds, and Froggy lands face-first into a cloud with his legs sticking out. An OminousFloatingCastle appears on its own cloud that's a bit higher up.
* SpoilerCover: Downplayed in that it's the cover illustration for the chapter that explains the twist anyway. The final chapter depicts SuperDeformed art of everyone, including Kokoci and Mr. Noodle, who are having tea together. [[spoiler:All Gigabot wanted was to take both of them out to tea, his "kidnapping" of them was not planned]].
* StuffBlowingUp: In the "World of Monsters" chapter, Vanness learns the glowing rocks explode when thrown, and uses them as ammo for his slingshot against the monsters.
* SweetsOfTemptation: The "Trap of Sweets" chapter is [[WholePlotReference an allusion to]] ''Literature/HanselAndGretel'', Fang and Xena come across a gingerbread mansion surrounded by giant sweets. Despite Xena [[BigEater being eager to try everything]], she persists while Fang falls for the trap of indulging on his TrademarkFavouriteFood, and he almost gets baked alive as a result.
* TakingTheBullet: Haliaman's last stand after being defeated is to block Fang's attack from his master, the actual boss of the dimension, Becky.
--> '''Becky:''' Mihihi! Very good, Haliaman. You being my best recipe was not in vain.
* TalkingIsAFreeAction: When Adu Du's spaceship crash-lands on the football field and advances towards Yaya, she says with a [[WideEyesAndShrunkenIrises shocked expression]] that she can't activate her powers in time. Ying zips by and carries her out of harm's way.
* TemporaryBulkChange: Fang becomes chubbier after gorging on what he considers to be a year's worth of [[TrademarkFavouriteFood red carrot donuts]]. The fat wears off quickly after he and Xena fight against Haliaman and Becky.
* TemptingFate: Anthony says he doesn't need Ying's help mere moments before the snow under his feet gives way, and Ying stops him from falling in midair. The smug look on her face says it all.
* TornadoMove:
** King Teddy can pull a "Teddy Tornado" to shake off Yaya and Froggy. The spiral blocks off their attacks individually, so Yaya and Froggy combine attacks to knock down the king with a rocket-powered gravity punch.
** Anthony spins over one spot to drill into the ice below with his ice skates to get the hexagonal panel from the frozen water underneath. It takes an extra speed boost from Ying for them to break through.
* TrademarkFavouriteFood: Fang's love for red-carrot donuts shines again, which is ironically the only food which freaks [[BigEater Xena]] out. When he finds a plate of them outside a GingerbreadHouse, he stays behind to gorge on them. Then Xena rescues him from a lady who tries to bake his [[TemporaryBulkChange now plump body]]. He is no longer tempted by the offer of more red carrot donuts as he thinks he has already eaten a year's supply.
* TRexpy: The leader of the toy soldiers in the world of LivingToys is a talking Tyrannosaurus rex named Toy-Rex. Besides being plastic, having a green body with purple markings and a wind up key on his back, he otherwise looks like a normal T-rex.
* TwoScenesOneDialogue: Ami and Yumi's plan to [[LetsSplitUpGang split both pairs of twins into 2]] is explained individually to each Shield twin. Ami and Shielda are on the ground as she explains, then the next panel continues telling the plan through Yumi to Sai in a rollercoaster cart.
--> '''Ami:''' If it truly is a trap, surely Yumi and I can't be the only ones who get caught, right?
--> '''Yumi:''' That's right. We have to split up, it's only fair. Sai follows me and Shielda follows Ami.
* WholePlotReference: The "Trap of Sweets" chapter recreates (the latter story half of) ''Literature/HanselAndGretel''. Xena and Fang come across a gingerbread mansion surrounded by treats and are lured in by a lady who intends to cook them. It ends differently in that, instead of killing her, they revert her into a happy baker by removing the hexagonal chip from her RollingPinOfDoom, as the chip made her allergic to flour and unstable as a result.
* YouCanTalk: After battling the giant gingerbread warrior referred to as Haliaman and reverting his boss (who intended to bake them alive) from villainy, Fang and Xena are shocked when Haliaman explains that Becky lost her mind because she couldn't bake after the hexagonal chip appeared on her rolling pin. They're more shocked that he can talk.
--> '''Haliaman''': Ever since that object appeared, Lady Becky became sensitive to flour. She lost her ability to make bread and started becoming unstable.
--> '''Fang:''' Huh? You can talk?
--> '''Haliaman:''' Did you not hear what I just said?!
