* HateSink: He's made to be an incredibly despicable, deceitful character.

* TheHeavy: As the only denizen of the Dead Sea who wasn't sealed away, he drives the majority of their schemes — sealing Wadanohara's memories, stealing the Sacred Sword, breaking the Sea Kingdom's barrier (twice), manipulating Princess Tosatsu into invading, and poisoning both Tatsumiya and Cherryblod.

* WolfInSheepsClothing: He masqueraded himself as a friendly, cheerful shark/[[FriendlyPlayfulDolphin dolphin]] who was willing to help however he could. The reality is that he's been planning to bring back Princess Mikotsu and make the sea revert back to its original chaotic state.

* AssholeVictim: He gets killed offscreen for his crimes

* ZettaiRyouiki: Gains Grade A when [[spoiler:she becomes the Red Witch in Normal End 1]].

* DrivenToSuicide: [[GoryDiscretionShot Though the game never shows it directly]] it is heavily implied that he does this in the second Normal Ending in order to be {{together|InDeath}} with Wadanohara, who pulled a HeroicSacrifice earlier.

* CainAndAbel: The Cain to Samekichi's Abel.
