* WindsOfDestinyChange: Uses a magical loom handle and a symbol of the Seven to alter fate... by inserting himself into the audience of a concert in the future.

* CompellingVoice: His "Suggestion" is probably the one skill that he's really had much effectiveness with. In the battle against the bandits, he convinced one to be too frightened of Ratticus to attack him, and [[spoiler: when Block hears about their plan to swindle Dozo and goes to try to warn him, Kaju convinces him to return to the tavern instead.]]

* DeathSeeker: Rattacus is suicidal, and often begs for death. [[spoiler: It’s very likely he only agreed to fight the Depthar invasion his fellow teammates caused was from finding out one doesn’t exactly die if infected.]]
* DirtyCoward: He not only tried to run a way near the end of the group’s first battle, he’s also attempted to get out of dodge twice at the end of Among the Reeds and during his conversation with Azolon. Both times, the Vizier has caught him. This is coupled with the fact that he’s the one who’s tried to convince the group to scam Dozo, just so they didn’t have to do the work of finding his daughter.

Rattacus readies a spell to make Machio fearful of the creature… Though that doesn’t come to pass, considering said Familiar turns out to be Mouth.

* MotherRussiaMakesYouStrong: When Zentreya began using Text-to-Speech, she started with the Russian-sounding Tatyana Ivona voice. Enforced further when she later switched to a more British-sounding voice for her own use, but would keep Tatyana Ivona for when she was directly voicing Zara, in order to differentiate between speaking in- and out-of-character, making Zara's official voice a Russian-accented one. And she is most certainly strong.
* NoIndoorVoice: Zara does not ''do'' quiet. Upon finding the home of Sad Derrick, she promptly kicks in the door and shouts hello.
* TheOtherDarrin: In the earliest episodes of "Death and Debts", Zentreya was still TheVoiceless, only able to communicate by typing into [=MapTools=] chat, necessitating Arcadum to voice Zara for her. When Zentreya began using Text-to-Speech, the "Tatyana Ivona" voice would be used to voice Zara from that point onward.
* SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan: In the first season, after Revlis has sex in a library and Umi begins accidentally attracting men left and right, Zara makes it her mission to find herself a "husbando". She eventually makes a move on a man but as the party gets sucked into the battle against the Enemy, he hasn't been seen since.
* TapOnTheHead: Zara frequently solves awkward situations by punching someone in the back of the head and knocking them out.
* TokenGoodTeammate: No one in the party is actually ''evil'' but they are, putting it kindly, chaotic. As long as there's not a fight, alcohol or drugs involved, Zara will typically make the moral or honorable choice. She respects the samurai warrior Vaeri killed, is just as resistant as Umi to making a deal with Babylon and is very protective of the ghost child they find after defeating The Quack Man.

** This tendency even became directly plot-relevant at one point, as she ended up drawing out a Shattered Star member that the party was tasked with finding and capturing, when he was under the belief that the party was a group of prostitutes and tried to enlist her services specifically.
* CombatMedic: While she tends to default to healing or being a SupportPartyMember, she's perfectly capable of dishing out hurt with her naginata.
* CuteLittleFangs: Her 'toof', which she occasionally makes a point of showing off.
* MagicMusic: Naturally, as a bard. Ironmouse will sometimes back this up with actual singing, when she's up to it.
* NaginatasAreFeminine: Wields one, and is particularly feminine.
* RapidAging: Ages into her mid-30s after giving up part of her lifeforce to save Mezzle and return him to his humanoid form. This is undone when the Lord of Blades transfers some of his power to the team.

* ChickMagnet: Dragons are basically catnip to kobolds, so Vaeri has to block her nose around him to prevent herself from just leaping on him.
* CoolSword: ''Covered'' in them. At some point the Lord of Blades removed most of his scales and covered himself in unhilted Mastercraft swords.
* GentleGiant: He can be quite sharp and is a terrifying enemy, but the party quickly find him a welcoming and kind presence. He also purrs.
* HandicappedBadass: He's enormously powerful but took a crippling Violet wound which left him unable to fight while getting progressively weaker. This leads him to summon the party to act in his stead. [[spoiler:By the end of Steel and Silence the party succeeds in their primary objective of healing his wound, allowing him to personally join the final confrontation against the Violet.]]

* LastOfHisKind: Was thought to be this at first. In the epilogue of Endgame, however, it's revealed that there are other Gith sealed away as he was, and he and Umi set out to find and free them.

* KickTheDog: While he's overall a NiceGuy, he has a few moments of this, such as withholding several pieces of the Splittree when the Treant at Greenbramble asks for what they recovered, as he wanted to have them crafted into items (though this almost comes back to bite him when it turns out that the Treant was planning to do exactly that anyway), and making some jabs at Coots over killing Afalia when he was clearly already guilty over it.

* CantKillYouStillNeedYou: With the 'Merciful' trait, he specifically endeavored to avoid killing members of the party that he deemed potentially useful to the Eclipse alive, though it also prevented those players from being revived if they were knocked unconscious.
* HonorBeforeReason: After the party kills Ikai Azu, his priorities promptly go to wanting to personally recover from that dishonor by dueling the party himself, rather than trying to overrun the Okogi with the entirety of his forces. It's pretty much stated that he's not thinking too clearly.
* TheLastDance: When he reaches the point of using his Last Stand.
* MagicKnight: He's adept in both Martial and Magic combat.
* NobleDemon: He offered to fight the party five-on-one rather than attack the village with the entirety of his forces, and made preparations to ensure that neither side could easily back out of it.

* HatesBeingTouched: He has no issue initiating touching people, but he's very jumpy and averse to being touched himself.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Verp has a bit of trouble reading people and understanding social politeness, which has a tendency to earn people's ire.
* NaiveNewcomer: Verp's lack of knowledge of Glies and its culture means that he needs some of its pecularities explained to him. Unfortunately, most of the people he asks aren't that great at explaining things.
* NayTheist: Verp doesn't ''disbelieve'' in the existence of spiritual things, but doesn't find any good reason to put faith in those things, and holds active disdain for them.
