** In "The Cat on the Broomstick", Unico and Chao befriend a poor old woman who suddenly becomes ill and on the verge of death midway through the chapter. ** In "The Tale of the Fangs of Athens", Unico witnesses Sphinx (Piro's mother) dying after getting attacked by Oedipus after her riddle was solved. Her injures are so severe that he doesn't consider using his powers.
