He formally was the Fire Support Coordinator for a General Unit and has also fought in the Bazanga Elimination Operation. In fact, it was his analytical and calm decision-making, strong conviction in his decisions, extensive knowledge of kaiju and intelligence that he proved he had in the operation that got him a position on [=SKaRD=]. He strongly believes in the importance of living harmoniously with Earth kaiju while protecting humans. He is very disciplined, but can also be a bit out of it at times.
