Badass Mustache and Badass Beard are being merged into Manly Facial Hair. Examples that don't fit or are zero-context are removed. To qualify for Manly Facial Hair, the facial hair must be associated with masculinity in some way. Please read the trope description before readding to make sure the example qualifies.

* BadassBeard: One of the few Ultras to sport facial hair.

* BarrierWarrior: Ischyros Heba, An energy shield, durable enough to withstand Grigio Regina's Erga-Trio Cannon.
* BigBad: Of ''Ultraman R/B The Movie: Select! The Crystal of Bond'' and later a recurring antagonist in ''Series/UltramanTaiga''.

* {{Expy}}: Argubably to Ultraman Belial, as both Ultras originates from Nebula M78 and both were estranged from Father of Ultra and Taro. The ''R/B'' movie director Masayoshi Takesue confirms this and even states that he is planning to turn Tregear into a recurring evil Ultraman, like Belial.
* EyeBeams: Opto Dacrys.

The most powerful Ultraman in existence and a virtual god amongst the Ultras, Ultraman King is a reclusive and mysterious hermit who resides on a Zen Garden-like planet near [=M78=] where he is its sole inhabitant. He most often appears in times of serious crisis when all seems completely lost against forces of evil. King is supposedly one of the oldest living Ultras, and in the series' lore was around ''before'' the Plasma Spark existed, thus making him one of, if not the only inhabitant of the Land of Light to possess memories of what life was like before the planet's star died, necessitating the construction of the Spark.
----
* AppealToWorseProblems: In Episode 39, he admonished the Ultra Brothers for fighting with Leo and reminded them of the imminent collision of the Ultra planet with Earth.
* BadassBeard: One of the few Ultras to sport facial hair.
* BadassCape: His Ultra Mantle, which can transform into anything he wishes and can even deflect attacks. He gave it to Leo for the series, but got it back afterwards.
* BigGood: of the entire ''Franchise/UltraSeries'', although since he's a hermit, the [[Series/UltramanAce Father of Ultra]] tends to fill in the more active needs of the role.
* DeusExMachina: His role in ''Series/UltramanLeo'' is to make sure the day can be saved whenever things seem totally hopeless. He does against Alien Pressure (when Leo is shrunken down by the wizard), Alien Babalou (revealing him to be disguised as Astra to end the conflict between the Leo Brothers and Ultra Brothers), and Alien Bunyo (when Bunyo and Commander Black chop Leo into pieces).
* GodzillaThreshold: He only gets involved in the Ultra warriors' battles if there is no other way for whatever crisis they are facing to be solved, such as the Land of Light about to collide with Earth while the Ultra and Leo Brothers are engaged in in-fighting or Ultraman Belial successfully activating a weapon capable of destroying the universe.
* HermitGuru: Usually lives as one, spending his time meditating and observing the Space Garrison from an isolated planet. In fact, no Ultra had ever seen King until Leo's battle against Alien Pressure forced him to make an appearance.
* IHaveManyNames: He tells this to [[Series/UltramanMebius Ultraman Hikari]] in the ''[[Series/UltramanMebiusGaiden Hikari Saga]]'' Gaiden, saying that "Ultraman King" is simply what humans have given him.
* MysteriousPast: It's known that the Ultras developed their powers from the Plasma Spark, but Ultraman King was ''already'' an Ultra long before that and his origin is unknown. Only Series/UltramanNexus is more ancient than him.
* NonIndicativeName: Despite his given title of "king", Ultraman King isn't actually the ruler of the Land of Light. It just befits his incredible power.
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: He's the only good Ultra with red eyes.
* TheOmnipotent: His powers are virtually infinite and he's regarded as all powerful, and more than backs up that claim. He's capable of effortlessly bring back a dismembered Leo to life and [[CurbstompBattle curbstomped the immensely powerful Ultraman Belial]], then created the Land of Light's moon ''around'' him to seal him away. In ''Series/UltramanGeed'', he ''recreates the freaking universe''.
* PhysicalGod: When a species of immensely strong, 50 meter tall energy beings considers you their deity, you have to be this.
* TimeAbyss: In keeping with the longevity of his kind, though He predates the Plasma Spark, and is at LEAST 300,000 years old, probably older.

Ultraman Tregear is an evil Ultraman and the main antagonist of ''Ultraman R/B The Movie''. This enigmatic warrior has ended lives on countless worlds by meddling with the hearts of its inhabitants.
