* SmallRoleBigImpact: Real flesh-and-blood Kouma never appeared in the games or visual novels, so he has zero impact during the present story. However he plays a very important part in the past - right before meeting Kouma Kiri Nanaya has been doing pretty well in dispatching Tohno attackers on his clan, and was about to head and kill the leaders behind the raid, i.e Makihisa, and seemed to have a real shot at succeeding too. Even if he failed, other Nanayas could reasonably launch a better resistance and even repel the raid. [[ForWhatANail Had Kouma not been there on that night]] to kill Kiri and slaughter Nanayas, then Shiki would have never been taken into Tohno family - the turning point that led to the series of events that defined the current set of things and relations between characters would have never happened.

* EyeColourChange: Her eyes change color in accordance to how powered up she is in comparison to her "normal" state. In her "completely serious but still restrained" mode, the change merely applies to her irises, turning them from red to golden. In her "fully unleashed, [[AxCrazy batshit crazy]]" mode, the change extends to her sclera, which turn into a blood-red version of BlackEyesOfCrazy.

* GameFace: Like most vampires and demons in Tsukihime. Although, she has two. Her first, minor face is a simple eye color change from [[RedEyesTakeWarning crimson]] to SupernaturalGoldEyes. This powers her as high as she can without turning into [[EnemyWithin Red Arcueid.]] Her true GameFace is the one she sports as Red Arcueid. Gaining the SupernaturalGoldEyes in the iris but also changing the schlera to blood red. Other changes include her teeth becoming razor sharp, giving her a SlasherSmile, and having her face become somewhat inhuman all together. Her [[ExpressiveHair hair]] even joins in on the fun.

* GreenLanternRing: Her Marble Phantasm allows her to reproduce any phenomenon found in nature. However, this is limited to what is actually possible in nature and thus she cannot pull the tricks of a Reality Marble. The metaphor used is that in a bag of 99 black marbles and a single white one, her power lets her always get the white marble. A Reality Marble turns them all white instead, which is an 'impossible' trick.
* HairIntakes: She has a rather impressive pair of intakes that resemble cat ears.

%%* ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend* ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend: There are times when harming Shiki causes her to go on a rampage on his assailant. One example is in ''VideoGame/MeltyBlood'', where at one story branch after Shiki Ryougi kills Shiki (Tohno), Arcueid shows up to take Ryougi down.

Added DiffLines:

* GlacierWaif: Despite appearances, in {{Videogame/MeltyBlood}} her energy ball based combat racks up damage in few hits while being quite fast and long-reaching. On the other hand, [[NecessaryDrawback Len has low health and defense]].

* LethalChef: Due to her skewered sense of taste she can't even taste test her cooking as it always seems okay to her. She's also rather forgetful about people's preferences: Shiki tells her he hates plums but likes their smell and she makes him a sandwich made entirely of them.

* {{LightningBruiser}}: His C-Moon variant is one of the uncontested strongest characters in the game, thanks to having screen wide attacks that can be chained into each other and activate in nanoseconds. His H-Moon variant is able to turn into lightning and reach his opponent across the screen in a second as well. His F-Moon variant is a {{Shotoclone}} however.

Added DiffLines:

* FragileSpeedster: Quite fast, but his defense leaves much to be desired.
* KnifeNut: He makes Shiki look inept in comparison. Having higher speed and much more graceful knife handling, likely a side effect of being Shiki's Jungian {{ShadowArchetype}}.

Added DiffLines:

* Close Range Combatant: In {{Videogame/MeltyBlood}}, He can bulldoze through moves after some of his attacks, and his goal is to grapple the enemy into oblivion.
