* HookerWithAHeartOfGold: Very, very much subverted. She is a professional escort, but she's manipulative, cruel and power-hungry, practically the worst sort of pony one could see in the role.

* BiTheWay: Combined with HasAType. She's seldom attracted to mares, and those few who do gain her attention tend to come off poorly during the inevitable comparisons with her first crush, but she has officially been attracted to both stallions and mares.

* BiTheWay: [[Recap/TriptychContinuumIfIGaveYouDiamondsAndPearls If I Gave You Diamond And Pearls]] has Rarity noting that love can be described as friendship which has caught fire -- and then acknowledges the possibility that such could one day happen to her. There's also been evidence that she was homeless for a time: she regards an abandoned building as a potential means of sourcing shelter. Chapter 18 reveals she was once forced to consume Thought Poison, a horrifically nasty toxic compound that causes intense pain in sapients (and a swift, but painless, death in non-sapients). Fans have speculated that she may have been a ''filly prostitute''.

* FluffyTamer: Well, it's not so much "taming" as "terrifying Angel Bunny into avoiding her and never daring to try his usual bully routine" in chapter four, where she achieves this feat by sweetly informing she cares about his life to the ''exact'' same extent he cares about hers, and then giving him a toothy grin.
** It's been noted that she seems to know an unusual amount about animals. Fleur isn't on Fluttershy's level, but she's capable of recognizing several examples of species behavior and has indicated she's served as a veterinarian's assistant at least once.
* FriendToAllChildren: Sees innocence as something which has to be protected at all costs, and so has a soft spot for the young. She's also extremely careful around any child whom she knows to be developing a crush on her, trying not to encourage or hurt them.
* HiddenDepths: After actually setting up in Ponyville, Fleur starts showing there's a lot more to her than just a blackmailing escort. (Which doesn't mean she isn't keeping an eye out for future blackmail material.)
* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: Fleur managed to turn her talent, which boils down to the rapid deduction of a pony's exact sexual interests, into a formidable tool for finding blackmail. She's also capable of using it as an extra sense in its own right, and could rewrite any number of books on sexual psychology.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Genuinely can't see why all of her blackmailing was ''wrong'' and why she deserves to be punished.
* MortalityPhobia: One of Fleur's defining traits. Her inner monologue shows her to be obsessed with ''time'': when she's thinking over what Celestia did to her, it's the effective loss of the time she spent in Canterlot that she fixes on, and she instantly and categorically rejects Time Turner upon seeing that his mark is an hourglass -- a rejection only enforced by finding out his name.

* RaisedByOrcs: Fleur's acceptance of the cycle of predator and prey, and her own attitudes about the importance of not being prey, has resulted in speculation that she was actually raised by griffons, hence her far more aggressive and cynically pragmatic mentality, compared to the softer ponies around her. Pretty much confirmed in chapter 20, where it reveals that she genuinely ''likes'' Protoceran Pony Cuisine... aka, "vegetables cooked with meat, so they absorb the flavor". She even considers it comfort food.
* TheRival: Downplayed, but it's implied she's one of many ponies who feels this way about Photo Finish: Fleur ''hates'' the fashion agent for tricking innocent models out of all the money they earn for their modelling. In this case, Photo Finish hates Fleur right back for having evaded this fate by actually reading the fine print before signing, and used her own contacts to cause a little early damage to Fleur's escort career. (Fleur states that the photographer is a leading cause of models transitioning to escorts because a lot of ponies decide that if they're going to spend their lives getting screwed, they might as well get paid for it.)
* SillyRabbitIdealismIsForKids: Mocks the concept of Honesty being important enough to deserve a position as one of the Six Elements, to the point that finding out this was true actually gave her a genuine laugh.

* MightyGlacier: Downplayed. He's capable of extended gallops, but he's not built for ''sprints''. An extended high-speed effort can drop him.

* MandatoryMotherhood: In [[Recap/TriptychContinuumAnchorFoal Anchor Foal]], the entire plot boils down to "Celestia believes Fluttershy needs to have foals as a safety-measure against Discord going rogue again once Fluttershy dies", and her sending Fleur to Ponyville to make it happen.

* MoralityChain: To [[DidWeJustHaveTeaWithCthulhu Discord]]. At least in [[Recap/TriptychContinuumAnchorFoal Anchor Foal]] and possibly in the main continuum.

** Apparently Photo Finish used a contract clause to keep pretty much all of the modeling salary, as Fluttershy left before the full term was up. * AbnormalLimbRotationRange: Double-jointed over pretty much her entire body, to the point where she effectively possesses this. Most ponies can't replicate her more extreme postures, attempting to duplicate the less complex ones quickly leads to muscle cramps or worse, and it's genuinely hard to even ''look'' at her when she's doing stretches. [[Recap/TriptychContinuumAnchorFoal Anchor Foal]] has Fleur quickly both recognizing the possibilities for the bedroom and mourning that she'll never personally get to experience any of them, as her talent tells her Lyra's strictly monogamous.

* AdaptationalVillainy: The canon Photo Finish is at worst something of an overbearing PrimaDonna. In the Continuum, she cheated Fluttershy out of any of the money she earned for her stint as a model by claiming legal right through a clause in their contract. [[Recap/TriptychContinuumAnchorFoal Anchor Foal]], if taken as canon, reveals that a combination of fraudulent clauses to wriggle out of paying her models and bribery to secure legal support is her standard operating procedure.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: According to [[Recap/TriptychContinuumAnchorFoal Anchor Foal: A Romantic Cringe Comedy]], Photo Finish is actually a stage name, and her real name is Lens Cap -- but she's done her best to cover this up.

* AnythingThatMoves: If [[Recap/TriptychContinuumAnchorFoal Anchor Foal: A Romantic Cringe Comedy]] is taken as canon, although Pinkie Pie doesn't see quite the same connection between sex and love as most ponies, she's what Fleur calls a ''trysexual'' -- basically, a pansexual who'll engage in any sexual act or legal coupling which sounds like it'd be fun for all involved.

* TheGhost: For most of the Continuum, she was only ever mentioned. She makes her first on-screen appearance in chapter 19 of ''[[Recap/TriptychContinuumAnchorFoal Anchor Foal: A Romantic Cringe Comedy]]''.
