** Instead of transforming into vehicles like the {{Transformers}}, they have a unique beast form each. Some Seraphims, however, have two to three beast forms.

Created by [[PhysicalGod Primus]] as a race of interstellar peacekeepers and to aid in the battle against the forces of [[EldritchAbomination Unicron]] and his Dark Gods, the Seraphims are six-winged technologically-advanced biological transforming angels, each granted with a unique ability through their special seed ember rendering them mastery of a specific element. Closely related to the 13 Original Transformers and Alpha Trion, the Seraphims’ abilities rival theirs, and their races’ technology is on par with those of the modern Transformers. Ruled by a number of elemental clans, they dedicated themselves towards spreading peace and cooperation throughout the galaxy until they came into contact with the Cybertronians. Their homeworld, Sera Prime, holds a secret they have kept closely guarded - [[spoiler: within the core of their planet exists a large, potentially inexhaustible vein of {{Unobtainium}}, a resource desperately needed by the {{Transformers}} (Both Autobots and Decepticons.) ]]

[[spoiler: The major point in their history is when General Astral of the Darkness Clan obtained the Allspark and succumbed to its power, turning himself and his wife into the Fallen and igniting a massive CivilWar among the Seraphims from within. In response, the Sun Clan united the rest of the elemental clans and laid a [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything seven-day siege]] on the Darkness Clan's citadel, narrowly winning the battle by snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. Astral was executed and his wife gave birth to a daughter named Zerreta before dying. The Darkness Clan was a shadow of its former self (no pun intended) due to the "Astral Heresy". Many of the traitors were forced to accept exile or face execution, while loyalists were eventually forgiven, allowing them to rebuild their clan from scratch and carve out a new place for themselves among the Seraphim clans. The Sun Clan was elevated to hero status due to their immense contribution in defeat of the rebellion, and is currently the ruling clan of Sera Prime, second only to the Soul Clan.]]

For some time following initial contact, the Seraphims peacefully coexisted with the Cybertronians and a Golden Age flourished. However, things took a turn for the worst with the assassination of [[spoiler: Xeria, the youngest daughter of the Emperor and Emperess of the Seraphims, by unknown assailants.]] Diplomatic ties were cut off entirely and all the Seraphims left Cybertron, never to be seen on that world again. Many Cybertronians presumed that the Seraphims have pulled back wholesale to channel their energy and resources elsewhere, such as advances on technological, scientific and philosophical fields, while the Seraphims themselves halted all attention to Cybertron and its territories. It was only after the Decepticon uprising on Cybertron and eventually [[AntiHero Megatron]]'s declaration of the expansion of the Decepticon Empire that they discovered that Cybertron was no longer controlled by the Autobots.
