Bonus points for both of those numbers being at play regarding her ranking in a single season.

* HatedByAll: As a result of being a {{Jerkass}} with ToiletHumor, the rest of the campers on his team and the opposing team show him nothing but contempt and hate; even resident TokenEvilTeammate Scary Girl is [[EvenEvilHasStandards disgusted by his behavior]]. [[DownplayedTrope Downplayed]] since he's shown to get along with Chase, Zee, and eventually [[spoiler: Axel in the following season]].

** Despite his blatant stupidity, Ripper is a surprisingly quick thinker when it comes to [[CrazyEnoughToWork unorthodox]] ways to win challenges, such as [[spoiler:using Priya as a HumanShield to storm the Frogs' base in the skull stealing challenge or suggesting Zee to put a cassowary costume to steal their eggs]]. It's just that his social game [[NoSocialSkills blatantly sucks]].

* ItsAllAboutMe: In his audition tape, he blatantly admits he doesn't care about anyone.

** She's essentially a CompositeCharacter of the two previous female finalists [[Characters/TotalDramaMutantMaggots Zoey]] and [[Characters/TotalDramaWaneyihtamMaskwak Sky]]. She's shy and naïve like Zoey, competitive like Sky and shares her belief that LoveIsAWeakness. She possesses [[ActionGirl both girls athleticism and collection of odd but useful skills]].
** To [[Characters/TotalDramaPresentsTheRidonculousRace Saunders]]. Both were [[ExtremeDoormat meek and mild-mannered girls]] who made it to the end of the season with a partner who [[AllTakeAndNoGive constantly took advantage of them]], competing against a flamboyant, athletic MagnificentBastard and an AlphaBitch with SuperStrength and [[TheBerserker rage issues]]. However Saunders partner was rude and abrasive while Millie was InnocentlyInsensitive and only took advantage of her because she never expressed her feelings to her. Both GrewASpine at the end of the season but while Saunders and [=MacArthur=] went to the finale as a more functional partnership against a pair of NiceGuy's, Priya only made up with Millie after her elimination and had to face Bowie in the finale alone.

* BigThinShortTrio: Ripper is the Big to Zee's Thin and Chase's Short.

* PetTheDog: In a rare moment of genuine kindness, when Damien tries to convince his teammates they're losing because of him in "Drown Town Abbey" so that [[DeathSeeker he could be eliminated]], Chase admires him in the confessional, believing he blames himself for his teammates' crappy performance, and states that there's no way he can vote for someone like that.

* HatedByAll: An interesting case. He's generally on good terms with everyone, being an AllLovingHero and only being disliked by the likes of [[AlphaBitch Julia]]. However, [[spoiler:both of his eliminations come from doing something last minute to displease all of the other contestants. In his first season, it was because his attempt at voting out Chris was so ridiculous that both of his alliances abandoned having him as [[DecidedByOneVote the deciding vote]] and eliminated him in a re-vote. In his second season, he ends up being universally disliked for [[SayingTooMuch revealing everyone's secrets]] as well as keeping a secret the fact that Caleb was supposedly merely using Priya's feelings for his own gain.]]

* WrongGenreSavvy: As an AllLovingHero, he had the brilliant idea of eliminating Chris so the contestants would stop antagonising each other for money despite the fact that's the entire point of the show. This might have worked for previous seasons where the contestants despised Chris for all the sadistic shenanigans he puts them through but it's still a competition and nobody is going to give up a million dollars as well as Chris can willy-nilly change the rules whenever he wants. As such, Zee was eliminated in a landslide by the remaining competitors after Chris allowed a re-vote.

* AmazonChaser: Damien seems to have an interest in {{Action Girl}}s, whether in a romantic or platonic sense, since he's usually seen with Priya and Nichelle while being impressed with the athletic feats that they can perform.

However, the two have polar opposite personalities; Courtney is [[AcademicAlphaBitch insufferably smart]] while Chase is [[InsufferableImbecile insufferably stupid]]. Chase is calm, laid back and impulsive while Courtney is uptight, controlling and emotional. Chase seems to care more about being on TV than actually winning the money and focuses more on trying to win back Emma, while Courtney puts the money above anything else and will throw any potentially meaningful relationship under the bus to get it. All of Courtney's skills were developed through [[{{Determinator}} hard work and dedication]], Chase is a [[TheSlacker slacker]] whose proficiency at stunts comes from being [[FearlessFool too dumb for fear]] and Courtney's ability to be EasilyForgiven is [[VillainWithGoodPublicity universal]] while Chase's is exclusive to Emma.

* ContrastingReplacementCharacter: Unlike previous male [[TheBully bullies]] [[Characters/TotalDramaDuncan Duncan]] and [[Characters/TotalDramaToxicRats Scott]], the former of whom was BrilliantButLazy and always chose to be TheLancer even when he was more qualified to lead than the person who ends up taking the role and the latter who [[TeamKiller actively sabotaged his own team]]. Ripper is a ControlFreak who insists on being TheLeader and forcefully shuts down teammates smarter than himself.
