* WhatTheHellDad: Mr. Parker passed over his twin children Kai and Jo for the Merge ceremony simply because Kai was a Siphoner, an aberrant witch who only has magic when absorbing it from another source. Though Kai's actions are inexcusable, that doesn't exactly pardon Joshua's view of Kai as an abomination and unworthy to be the coven's leader.

* {{Jerkass}}: Kai is incredibly evil and sociopathic and he does not have any redeemable traits or qualities. Kai actually murdered his entire family all because he felt that he was an abomination and he did not take it too well so he ended up lashing out in the worst way imaginable against them.

* TheDeterminator: Kai has shown that he is a very persistent and determined individual. When he wants something, he will stop at nothing to get it, even if he has to resort to the most evil or underhanded methods or ways to achieve his goals and agenda.

* AffablyEvil: Kai can come off as very friendly and polite when he wants to be but his intentions are still very much evil and not so good. The fact that Kai is able to switch his friendliness on and off with so much ease ups the creep factor with Kai because you cannot tell when he is ever being genuine or not. One minute, he can be very polite and friendly and the next minute, he can be stabbing and torturing the hell out of you. It's safe to say that Kai's ability to fake politeness and friendliness makes him even more unpredictable and dangerous.

** BadassBoast: Kai won't hesitate to constantly brag about how powerful he is and how he has the ability to absorb others witches magic whenever he wants to. Kai has also shown that he is highly arrogant and that he will threaten others without any remorse.

* DeadpanSnarker: Despite the fact that Kai is very evil, Kai possesses a very dry sense of humour and he can even be humorous and witty at times. Kai is very snide, sarcastic and snarky and he sometimes engages in SnarkToSnarkCombat with Damon. Kai even said that the fact that he was named Malakai makes him seem like he was born to be evil.

* EvilIsCool[=/=]EvilIsSexy: Kai has shown that despite the fact that he is purely evil and possibly irredeemable that he is a cool and interesting character. He has shown that he can be TheCharmer and a bit of TheCasanova as he has been seen to be incredibly flirtatious with Bonnie at times. He has also displayed his immense power. Kai also has a very good sense of humour and a dry wit. Let's not forget that Kai is also incredibly physically attractive and appealing.

* FauxAffablyEvil: Seems to be a possible cross between this and AffablyEvil. At first, Kai actually appears to be somewhat innocent and childlike. His physical appearance does not appear to be in any way dangerous or intimidating whatsoever. In fact, he seems like he could be a cute, nice guy judging by first impressions. Overall, Kai seems to lack an evil or intimidating villainous demeanour, however, underneath that innocent childlike boyish facade is a very evil and sinister person who is unrepentantly evil and remorseless. Kai is able to be friendly and charming when he wants to and he even possesses a very dry sense of humour and wit. However, this is the same guy who committed a very heinous act when he murdered his entire family in the most gruesome ways. His friendly and charming facade is all an act and he often uses it to manipulate in order to get what he wants.

* ManipulativeBastard[=/=]MagnificentBastard: OH SO MUCH. Kai has shown that he is extremely cunning and manipulative. He won't hesitate to use blackmail in order to get what he wants. In fact, Kai is so manipulative that his agenda or what he really wants or plans to do are not even clear. All that is known is that he is trying to manipulate and use Bonnie and get her to use her magic to get himself out of the purgatory dimension that he is stuck in.

Kai was born as Malakai in Portland, Oregon. He was part of a coven of witches that consisted of his siblings. One day, he killed his siblings in various gruesome ways, which drew the attention of the Gemini Coven, who then harnessed the power of a solar eclipse and trapped Kai in a purgatory dimension as punishment for his crimes. He is the BigBad of season six.

A band of six witches that were outcast by the Gemini Coven in the late nineteenth century. All six witches were aberrant of their kind. They were all Siphoners, witches that don't have their own natural magic, only so when siphoning magic from another supernatural being, item or source.

All six met with Ripper vampire Lillian "Lily" Salvatore. Lily turned them all six into vampires. Because they were now vampires, as Siphoners they ''siphoned magic'' off of themselves, resulting in vampire/witch hybrids. The Gemini coven found them and all six of them along with Lily were imprisoned in the 1903 Prison World.
