!! Rayma / The Super Inframan
--> Portrayed by: Creator/DannyLee Sau-yin
The protagonist of the picture, Rayma is a young biker and officer of the Science Research Center, who volunteered himself into becoming the titular hero, the Super-Inframan, in order to save humanity from Princess Dragon Mom, despite being warned beforehand of the risks and dangers that entails -- and the responsibilities that follows.
Danny Lee practically made a household name for himself after this film, with his career moving on to bigger roles for the Shaws. Decades later, Lee is still famous either for this movie -- or Film/TheKiller.
----
* BadassBiker: While in human form, Rayma often cruises around on his trusty motorbike. He even brings that bike of his when infiltrating Princess Dragon Mom's lair, crashing into and running over Skeleton Mooks that gets in his way.
* BadassNormal: He can kick plenty of ass before gaining his powers. Heck, there are several scenes where Rayma needs to battle Princess Dragon Mom's minions while in human form after getting superpowers, and yet Rayma still beats up plenty of enemies as a human.
* CaptainErsatz: His Inframan persona seems to be lifted directly from Franchise/KamenRider, being a human BadassNormal undergoing cyborgification into becoming a superhero, as well as his preference for motorbikes. Meanwhile, the movie adds in traits borrowed from Series/Ultraman, such as his FinishingMove by crossing his arms together resembling the Specium Ray and a one-shot ability to enlarge to skyscraper-size.
* Cyborg: The entirety of the Inframan Project basically injects Rayma with all sorts of State-of-the-Art gadgetry and machinery, with circuits embedded into his veins and pulses. It grants him superhuman abilities as well as transforming him into the cyborg superhero known as Inframan.
* DeadlyDisc: Inframan's gauntlets contains plenty of razor-sharp circular discs, used to slice up various enemies.
* DivingKick: The "Shadowless Rocket Kick", based on the Rider Kick, but with the added examples of inflicting explosions on the point of contact.
* EmpoweredBadassNormal: A capable fighter, biker, karate expert, now bestowed with superpowers after becoming a volunteer of the Inframan Project.
* FriendToAllChildren: He's great with the kids, and bonds well with the movie's resident TagAlongKid, Lin Lin (who sees him as a CoolBigBro).
* HelmetsAreHardlyHeroic: Averted big-time during the final battle. Rayma would be dead the moment Mutant Drill strikes him in the head, but Rayma's wearing his motorcycle helmet, which saves his life.
* HenshinHero: Since the movie is a Toku homage...
* TheHero: He's the titular Inframan.
* IncorruptiblePurePureness: One of the key reasons why Rayma is chosen by Professor Chang into becoming the Inframan; he's a good man of pure heart, with righteous nature, and perfectly willing to risk his life if it means he can find a way to save the world.
* InformedFlaw: According to the movie, Inframan's powers comes from absorbing Solar Energy (see ThePowerOfTheSun below), which allows him to unleash his powerful Solar Armor Beam. To circumvent around the issue, Princess Dragon Mom then orders for a smog screen to cover most of the sky above her lair, inhibiting Inframan's Solar Energy absorption... but Inframan can still use his secondary attack, the Shadowless Rocket Kick, as an alternative. The lack of sunlight also doesn't hamper his fighting skills, despite what the movie claims -- while indoors, Inframan can beat up tons of Skeleton Ghosts and defeat the Twin Iron Monsters just fine.
* ThePowerOfTheSun: Inframan's powers are sourced from Solar Energy, which is what allows him to execute his FinishingMove, the Solar Armor Beam. The movie also states that his fighting skills are at its peak in the presence of sunlight.
* RocketPunch: "Rocket Fists!" that launches Inframan's gauntlets into the faces of monsters, with devastating effects.
* Sizeshifter: When being faced by the enlarged Spider Monster, Inframan reveals his ability to grow kaiju-sized, too, and swiftly pummels the monster into a pulp. Unfortunately, this appears to be a one-shot ability, since he does it only once.
* SuperStrength: Rayma's inframan form allows him to rip apart steel beams and metal girders single-handedly.
* TransformationSequence: Rayma's transformation into Inframan is shown right in the opening credits, with psychedelic light effects and flashy colours enough to trigger an epileptic stroke. Later in the film when Rayma needs to transform, the sequence plays again.
* XRayVision: Through his helmet, Rayma can SeeTheInvisible. Firstly by tracking down the Plant Monster whom had hidden himself within a copse of trees in a forest, and then to spot the invisible Fire Dragon.
----
!! Professor Chang
The lead scientist of the Scientific Research Center, mastermind behind the Inframan Project, and the BigGood of the picture. He's also a dedicated single father to his daughter, ever since his wife's passing shortly after his daughter's birth.
--> "Rayma, you are now empowered and filled with energy! For you, nothing is impossible!"
--> Portrayed by Wang Hsieh, in a rare heroic role
----
* AFatherToHisMen: Considers his fellow soldiers and comrades in the Scientific Research Center to be like his family, and especially treats the hero Rayma as a surrogate son.
* BigGood: The leader of the Scientific Research Center and lawful scientist who developed the Inframan Project, in order to repel Princess Dragon Mom and her army of monsters.
* DistressedDamsel: A male example, although he's with his daughter when it happens. Basically, near the end of the film Chang and his daughter gets captured alive by Princess Dragon Mom, who intends to force him into becoming her slave and design weapons to facilitate her global domination goals. It's up to Inframan to save both father and daughter before its too late.
* LabcoatOfScienceAndMedicine: His standard attire in every scene.
* PapaWolf: He will do anything for his daughter, Fanny.
----
!! Princess Dragon Mom
--> "Greetings, Earthlings. I, Princess Dragon Mom, have taken over this planet, now I own the Earth and you'll be my slaves for all eternity."
--> Portrayed by Terry Liu
After ten million years of dormancy, the vile Princess Dragon Mom, an ancient monster monarch, has awakened, bringing with her an army of monsters and skeletons. Announcing her presence to humanity by destroying several earth cities, killing thousands, nothing seems to stop Princess Dragon Mom... is there?
----
* AgonyBeam: Her lair has a laser turret to grab, constrict, and inflict harm on her victims.
* BigBad: She's the main villain of the movie, the dreaded monster monarch from millions of years ago, awakening to wreak havoc across the world.
* CaveMouth: Her headquarters, which is accessible through the mouth of a giant dragon skull. Intruders risk getting frozen alive by stepping in, as Inframan finds out late in the final battle.
*ChromaticArrangement: Being the Monarch and leader of the monsters, Dragon Mom's outfit is clad mostly in gold, including her helmet, boots, and gauntlets. As well as her long gold hair.
* DarkActionGirl: A capable fighter in human form, lashing out with her whip at lightning speed.
* ElectricTorture: She loves doing this to her victims.
* GodSaveUsFromTheQueen: She's the Monarch of an ancient army of monsters, hell-bent on global domination.
* HornsOfVillainy: Her headgear is an ornate helmet resembling a horned draconic skull.
* IslandBase: Her headquarters is located on an abandoned island, accessible by boat.
* NothingButSkulls: Princess Dragon Mom seems to have a fetish in skull decorations, with skull motifs littered inside and around her island base.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: She can shape-shift between human and dragon form. In the latter she's a dangerous opponent that even Inframan struggles to catch up.
* WhipItGood: Her favourite weapon is a whip made of dragon scales, which has electrifying properties enough to even short out Inframan.
----
!! Witch Eye
The second-in-command of the monster army, Witch Eye carries out most of Princess Dragon Mom's orders, as well as relaying her commands to lesser minions.
--> Portrayed by DANA
* AnArmAndALeg: Her battle against Inframan concludes with the hero slicing off both her hands from the wrists. Followed by the CoupDeGrace -- see AMoltenDateWithDeath.
* ChromaticArrangement: While her boss, Princess Dragon Mom, is clad entirely in gold, Witch Eye's wardrobe on the other hand is in silver.
* DangerouslyShortSkirt: Her skirt is somehow shorter than her boss'.
* DarkActionGirl: Not as much as Princess Dragon Mom, but she's a dangerous enough opponent in close combat.
* TheDragon: To Princess Dragon Mom.
* EyesDoNotBelongThere: Witch Eyes has ExtraEyes growing in her palms. Which comes with extra ability of hypnotism, EyeBeams, and the like.
* HypnoticEyes: The eyes in her palm has hypnotizing and brainwashing powers, demonstrated as she turns the unfortunate captured Redshirt, Chu-Ming, into her slave.
* LawmanBaton: Her main shart-range weapon is her baton.
* AMoltenDateWithDeath: Her fate, courtesy of Inframan kicking her into a lava pit.
* MookLieutenant: Frequently orders lesser monsters and Skeleton Ghosts around the base.
* SatelliteCharacter: Despite being one of Princess Dragon Mom's most prominent enforcers, Witch-Eye barely has any character development, with her entire screentime being her receiving and relaying orders from her superior.
----
!! Skeleton Ghosts
Princess Dragon Mom's foot soldiers and servants, of which she seems to have an unlimited number of.
----
* CarryABigStick: Their standard weapon is a mace with an exploding tip, which could also be used as a throwing weapon.
* DemBones: Walking skeletons in biker helmets.
* KeystoneArmy: They show up in large numbers, far too many even for the heroes... but the moment Inframan defeated their boss, the rest of them dissappeared.
* Mooks: They basically exist as body-bag fillers for Rayma and his comrades.
* MookChivalry: Surprisingly played straight; despite their numbers, at any given time the number of Skeleton Ghosts Inframan is fighting can be counted on one hand. But then again, mindless skeletons are pretty dumb.
* SummonMagic: This seems to be how Princess Dragon Mom creates them; after awakening with her monster minions, Princess Dragon Mom then cracks her whip, which instantly teleports half a dozen Skeleton Ghosts into the area.
----
!! Plant Monster
The first of Princess Dragon Mom's several monsters, Plant Monster is dispatched to destroy Professor Chang's laboratory in order to prevent Rayma's transformation into Inframan. He nearly succeeded, too, but Professor Chang managed to complete the conversion in the nick of time, and Rayma, now in the form of Inframan, faces his first opponent.
----
* AttackOfTheMonsterAppendage: The Plant Monster made himself known to the audiences by unleashing various tentacles into the Scientific Research Center, destroying various facilities just as Rayma is undergoing transformation into Inframan. The monster's true form is tucked away in a corner, which Rayma -- now Inframan -- tracked down and battles later on.
* LogicalWeakness: Being a plant-based monster, he's weakened by Inframan's Spark Flares which greatly restricts his teleporting powers once Inframan surrounds the Plant Monster with a dozen of these projectiles, making the monster a sitting duck for the Solar Armor Beam.
* PlantPerson: His default form is a humanoid pile of vines with a face.
* StarterVillain: He's the first monster Inframan fought, and destroyed, and provide humanity's first hope in dealing with Princess Dragon Mom's monsters.
* TeleportSpam: The Plant Monster has this ability only in a forest environment, since he can blend into surrounding trees to ambush targets. Naturally once Rayma's transformation is completed the Plant Monster then decide to lure the hero into some nearby woods to continue the battle.
* TentacleRope: Uses his vines to constrict and throttle victims.
* WhenTreesAttack: The Plant Monster can manipulate giant vines and roots to lash out at targets.
----
!! Spider Monster
The second of Princess Dragon Mom's monster minions, the Spider Monster is sent on a rampage to draw out the heroes. And since the movie is ripping off the Franchise/UltraSeries, the Spider Monster is pretty much there to deliver a kaiju-scale battle.
----
* AllWebbedUp: The Spider Monster's main ability, that can entangle his victims in a sticky webbed ball. Which then explodes.
* BehemothBattle: Once the Spider Monster and Inframan both reveals their enlarging abilities, they then tussle their way through a power station, which ends with Inframan flinging the monster into a set of power lines.
* GiantFootOfStomping: Upon defeat, the Spider Monster lose his enlarging ability and shrinks back to original size. He tries fleeing from the scene, but Inframan crushes the monster via his boot.
* Kaiju: Once he decides to enlarge himself. None of the other monsters, not even Princess Dragon Mom, has this ability.
* MakeMyMonsterGrow: The only member of Princess Dragon Mom's army to grow skyscraper-sized onscreen.
* PowerPincers: His main limbs ends in powerful pincers, which he uses to claw through unfortunate Redshirts.
* SpiderPeople: Part man, part spider. All monster.
----
!! Long Haired-Monster
Another one of Princess Dragon Mom's lesser minions, the Long Haired-Monster is tasked with providing backup to the Spider Monster, by dragging Inframan into an ambush. It doesn't work.
----
* BeamOWar: Subverted; the Long Haired-Monster got into one of these against Inframan's Solar Armor, but halfway through the monster switches tactic and fire a second beam from his horns on the hero. It turns the tide of battle in the monster's favour... briefly.
* BeamSpam: All of the Long Haired-Monster's attacks are beam-related. Including the ability to fire beams from his eyes, horns and hands.
* BornAsAnAdult: Long Haired-Monster is introduced as an egg, which hatches instantly into his adult form.
* EyeBeams: One-third of his powers, the other two being from his horns and hands.
* HornedHumanoid: A horned monster played by an actor in a suit.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Probably the monster with the least amount of screentime, the Long Haired-Monster serves to ambush Inframan -- who's in the middle of fighting the Spider Monster -- and drag the battle to near a lake. Roughly a minute later, the monster has been soundly dealt with by Inframan (via explosion, of course) who then goes back to fighting the Spider Monster.
----
!! Fire Dragon
Another one of Princess Dragon Mom's lesser underlings. A dragon-human hybrid monster wearing a crown and a Fu Manchu 'stache who tried ambushing Inframan near the island hideout.
----
* BadassMustache: Ever seen a reptilian humanoid with facial hair? Besides this guy?
* BreathWeapon: A powerful stream of flames.
* DraconicHumanoid: A dragon man, complete with fire-breathing abilities and reptilian claws.
* Invisibility: After his mano-on-mano battle against Inframan goes south, Fire Dragon reveals his ability to camouflage into his surroundings, Unfortunately for the monster, Inframan can SeeTheInvisible.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: The Fire Dragon has the second least screentime, after Long Haired-Monster, where his main role is to back up Mutant Drill. Inframan soundly trounces him without a word before going back to deal with Drill.
----
!! Mutant Drill
The monster with the most amount of development, Mutant Drill is one of Princess Dragon Mom's most prominent enforcers. He's well aware of the fact, too, and basks in it by gloating and hamming every second he's around.
----
* ChewingTheScenery: Even when he's silent, Mutant Drill simply refuse to stay still, repeatedly swaying into every scene he's in.
* LargeHam: Easily the most vocal of the monsters, Mutant Drill hams his way across every scene he's in, raising his voice and gloating like there's no tomorrow.
* IHaveYouNowMyPretty: While abducting Professor Chang's daughter, Mutant Drill specially takes delight in stroking his captive's face, gloating all the way.
* RedRightHand: Both his limbs are respectively a drill and an excavator-like shovel.
* RockMonster: A monster made of earth, but with his limbs replaced by construction machinery.
* ShovelStrike: His left hand ends in a shovel-like appendage. This attack of his nearly kills Rayma, the hero, destroying Rayma's helmet instead, at which point Rayma decide to transform into Inframan.
* ThisIsADrill: His right hand ends in a sharp drill, which serves as his primary attacking weapon, using it to kill a few unfortunate Redshirts.

!! Iron Armor Monsters
A pair of robotic monsters serving as Princess Dragon Mom's personal guards, the Iron Armor Monsters duo are the last batch of enemies Inframan must overcome before facing his arch-nemesis.
----
* AmbiguousRobots: It's never explained within the film, whether the two of them are actual robots, or cyborgs, or some sort of actually living MechanicalLifeform. All that's known is that they're monster mooks for Inframan to destroy.
* BodyguardingABadass: Unlike the rest of the monsters whose roles are to go on rampages, the Iron Armor Monsters seem to serve as Princess Dragon Mom's personal guards. But when their boss is a powerful, millienia-old immortal monster monarch...
* TheDividual: They're always together, and there's no way to even tell them apart.
* DualBoss: They attack Inframan together during the finale, while flanked by Skeleton Ghosts. Inframan tries separating them by tricking one of them to be stuck as he deals with the other, but it doesn't work.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: They're ultimately destroyed by having their own fists and craniums tangled together by Inframan, who then flings their appendages into themselves, destroying both Iron Armor Monsters.
* LeftStuckAfterAttack: A missed headbutt from one of them allows Inframan to snag its head into an alcove on the ceiling, leaving one of the two Iron Armor Monsters stuck and comically dangling in a corner. But before Inframan can defeat the second, the first unstucks itself rather quickly and rejoins its twin.
* MechanicalLifeform: A possible explaination of their origin. After all, Princess Dragon Mom's minions include mamalian (Long Hair), reptilian (Dragon), insectoid (Spider) or elemental (Drill) monsters, safe to say these two robots could be actual living beings?
* PraetorianGuard: They serve this role to Princess Dragon Mom.
* PuttingTheirHeadsTogether: Inframan finally took down the Iron Armor Monsters by grabbing their craniums and smashing them together.
* RocketPunch: They're the only characters besides Inframan with this ability.
* TheSpeechless: They are among the few monsters in the film without any dialogue onscreen. Whether they have the ability to speak up (or not) is never explained.
* UseYourHead: Besides their fists, both Iron Armor Monsters can launch their craniums to bash their targets from a distance too.
