An earthbender and younger brother to Mako. More open and idealistic, he is always willing to fight for his friends, family, and anyone else who needs help. He also shares Asami’s love of radio dramas.

A resident of Zaofu who Suyin thinks would be better off staying in Republic City. She is currently working with the United Republic's Police Force under Suyin's sister Lin.

** She was able to easily defeat fire-bending prodigy Mako in an underground bending fight.

* GenreSavvy: After observing the appearances and abilities of Korra's teachers, Asami quickly deduces Korra's true identity as the Avatar.

* AdaptationalIntelligence: Despite being perhaps even more ignorant of the outside world than her canon counterpart, Zaheer's tutelage has provided Korra with a significant amount of knowledge in other areas. Korra also displays a level of cunning and awareness not seen from her canon counterpart. See GenreSavvy below.

* SmallRoleBigImpact: She witnessed the aftermath of Korra using waterbending to incapacitate other police officers and then she is defeated by Korra using firebending. This leads her to realizing that Korra's the avatar, and she informs Tenzin and Lin Beifong of her discovery.

* BigBrotherWorship: He loves his older brother. While he isn't aware of some things Mako actually does, he does get angry upon learning some of his secrets. However, even when he does learn some of the things his brother does, he still loves him.
