* GeniusBruiser: As to be expected from a Primarch, Aegon is far more than a lumbering meathead of a soldier. He converts the Storm Warriors from a slapped-together force of knights and men-at-arms into perhaps the most disciplined, combined arms force in Westeros. Among his feats of mental accomplishments include organizing his footmen into dedicated phalanxes of shield-bearing warriors akin to the Lockstep Legions of Old Ghis(despite having only read about them one time in passing, and the book in question was not dedicated to their methods of fighting and organization), and-together with Gendry-inventing a set of rapidly deployable stakes to help counter Lannister cavalry charges. He also completely outfoxes ''[[ManipulativeBastard Petyr]] [[EvilGenius Baelish]]'' in order to get Sansa out of the Red Keep.

* TheMatchmaker: Rather unexpectedly and amusedly for a Primarch, one of Aegon's hobbies is searching for a husband for his sister Brienne; one who will respect her martial path and ambitions of knighthood while treating her kindly. [[ShipperOnDeck Robar Royce is Aegon's number one choice at the moment,]] as he is Aegon's best friend and second command in the Storm Warriors, is not a Stormlander and thus has not been overly exposed to the nasty gossip about Brienne flowing through that region's nobility, and has trained beside her and showed her an incredible degree of respect during that time. Aegon also notices excellent qualities within [[NiceGuy Garlan]][[HumbleHero Tyrell]], and laments the fact that he is already married to Leonette Fossoway.

!Ser Garlan "The Gallant" of House Tyrell, secondborn of Mace Tyrell, Lord of Highgarden.
The second son of the Lord Paramount of the Reach, Garlan Tyrell is noted for his humility and temperance compared to his somewhat arrogant younger brother, Ser Loras, and his father Lord Mace. While not a member of the Storm Warriors himself, Garlan is a frequent ally and fast friend of the brotherhood, and Aegon and Robar especially.

* HumbleHero: Noticeably less concerned with glory and schemes than his father and younger brother. This leads to his grandmother, [[ScrewPolitenessImASenior Lady Olenna Tyrell,]] dubbing him "Garlan the Ghost," and favoring it over his more well-known title. She even makes a joke about him being in contact with her deceased husband, Luthor Tyrell, to which Garlan replies, [[HenpeckedHusband "Grandfather is enjoying his peace and quiet while he has the chance."]]

* AdaptationalNiceGuy: While Angron of Nuceria was already a compassionate soul before having the Nails put in his head, Aegon of Tarth has benefitted immensely from the loving and chivalric upbringing he has gotten from his adoptive father and sister, Selwyn and Brienne. This is expressed immensely in his Empathic powers, now given the chance to fully manifest without the crushing oppression of the Nucerian High-Riders or the biting torture of the Butcher's Nails.

!Ser Robar Royce, Secondborn of Yohn Royce, Lord of Runestone, Storm Warrior
A Knight of the Vale who joined Renly Baratheon's cause, Robar of the House Royce ends up joining Aegon's newly formed Storm Warriors and quickly becomes the de facto second-in-command and closest friend of the young Primarch.
----
*NumberTwo: Robar serves as Aegon's de facto first lieutenant of the Storm Warriors, and is the one he seems to trust the most out of all of them. Enough that before embarking on his mission to save Sansa Stark from King's Landing, Aegon nominates Robar to take command if he should not return, and [[ShipperOnDeck asks him to marry his sister Brienne.]] The latter of which he is extremely flustered by.
* SparedBytheAdaptation: By virtue of joining the Storm Warriors instead of Renly's Rainbow Guard,[[spoiler: and Aegon and Brienne preventing Melisandre's shadow assassin from killing the younger Baratheon King,]] Robar is not killed by a mad-with-grief Loras Tyrell.
* WarIsHell: Robar joined Renly's bid for the crown believing that war was a game between men, his head being filled with songs and sagas of glorious victories and great battles. However, after seeing the devastation left behind by the Lannister armies during the War of Five Kings, the young Knight of the Vale quickly realizes what a fool he was to think so, and uses this as a means to become a wiser, kinder, and truly honorable man and knight.

* AFatherToHisMen: Aegon has intense value for the lives of his fellow Storm Warriors, as well as his allies within the rest of the Baratheon/Tyrell Army, and acts accordingly in battle, taking care to ensure none of his decisions waste the lives of the men under his command. When off the battlefield, he makes himself available to all of the Storm Warriors, no matter if they are simple farmers-turned-soldiers or the sons of Great Houses, and visits them when off duty to talk and laugh with them. Arya and Edric take note of this.

!Balerion,
Phoenici of House Targaryen]]Targaryen, Hand of the King, the Poison Eater, Primarch of the III Legiones Astartes Dragon Knights
The Primarch of the III Legion Dragon Knights, formerly Emperor's Children, Balerion fell into the Dragonpit in King's Landing, rather than on Chemos, and was adopted by King Aerys Targaryen II shortly before Robert's Rebellion. Tasked with safeguarding Queen Rhaella and her children on Dragonstone, Balerion-adopting the ancient Valyrian title of Phoenici, or bodyguard-swore to the Queen upon her deathbed that he would protect her son Viserys and her newborn daughter Daenerys, and raise the former to claim the Iron Throne. Traveling across the Narrow Sea with the last surviving Targaryen children and their few remaining retainers, Balerion set upon the task of building an army for Viserys and working with the few Targaryen loyalists to prepare for the return of the king, traveling all across Essos in the process.
----
* MyGreatestFailure: Balerion deeply regrets not being there to protect Ellia Martell and her children during the sack of King's Landing by the Lannister Army, composing "What If" scenarios in his head of managing to save at least one of them on the way from Dragonstone to Essos.

Stormborn, the formerly Storm, The Giant of Tarth]] Tarth, Primarch of the XII Legiones Astartes Storm Warriors
The Primarch of the XII Legion Storm Warriors, formerly the War Hounds, Aegon landed not in the wilderness of Nuceria, but on the shores of the Sapphire Isle of Tarth in the Stormlands, and was adopted by Lord Selwyn Tarth, disguising the boy as a bastard sired on one of the mistresses he had taken after his wife's death. Growing up with his adoptive sister, Brienne, Aegon quickly becomes a skilled warrior, taking after his sister in the pursuit of excellence in both martial skill and chivalric conduct. After Renly Baratheon declares himself King following his brother's death, Aegon joins his sister in supporting his Liege's claim to the Iron Throne, rising quickly through the ranks and forming his own elite brotherhood of knights and men-at-arms, the Storm Warriors.
