* UnskilledButStrong: Falls into this in ''Danny and Kim'' as a result of Danny becoming StrongAndSkilled. Vlad finds himself outmatched in a straight up fight after Danny gets some combat training from Kim, leaving Vlad's years of experience with his ghost powers largely irrelevant.
** Quite notably Vlad's plan after being beaten by Danny involves drastically increasing his raw power rather than countering Danny's new edge a different way.

* VillainForgotToLevelGrind: In ''Danny and Kim'', because Vlad spent 2 years in space as a prisoner with little to no use of his powers, while Danny spent that same amount of time fighting villains with Kim, he’s barely a match for him anymore.

However, after they're humiliated by Danny Phantom, he recruits them and gives them their respective codenames of Vid, Download and Thrash, revealing they are the Masters' Blasters]].
* GangOfBullies: Before they started working with Vlad, they were just a bunch of obnoxious jerks who bully kids and cause vandalism. And that doesn't even take into account of harassing Danny and Gwen (calling Danny a wimp and hitting on Gwen).
* JustIgnoreIt: In canon, Sam insists that Danny just fight ghosts harder than usual to outdo the Masters' Blasters and it caused him to be stressed and overworked. Here, Kim suggests this option instead. It works and soon people turn on them for refusing to help without payment.

* ApocalypseHow: They kill off every super-powered being, magical creature and human that has the potential to become a mutate or have altered descendants in another timeline. It was mostly [[HeroKiller Nimrod]] that did the work. Katie even says that in that averted future even Danny was killed by him.
* CrazyPrepared: They have special features for countering specific mutant powers.
* CompositeCharacter: They are based off the comics/cartoon sentinels but there was also a Master-Mold that was based off the one from "X-Men: The Official Game".
* TheDreaded: The mutants fear them for good reason. Katie tells Danny that she has nightmares about Nimrod/Bastion along with Apocalypse.
* KillerRobot: They are robots designed to hunt or capture mutants. In Danny and Kitty the GiW also reprogram a few to hunt ghosts and not care about human lives.
* PosthumousCharacter: Master-Mold and Nimrod are all gone in "Danny and Barbara: The Kaboom Wedding". One was destroyed by Katie and the other was erased from existence.
