* ActionGirlfriend: The women towards Rean should any of them be romanced barring Millium.

* TheFriendsWhoNeverHang: Thanks to the game taking place primarily from Rean's point of view, players will rarely actually see members of Class VII hanging out with each other outside of story related scenes. It's very notable when it comes to the guys and girls hanging out with each other.
** This is even more apparent with Crow who, outside of Rean and to a lesser extent Elliot, never actually spends much time with anyone else in Class VII onscreen.

* BuxomIsBetter: She admits that she's jealous of both Emma and Sara's figures which implies she believes in this trope. In ''Cold Steel III'', if you visit Heiyue on the last day of Chapter 2, [[BrattyHalfPint Xin]] ends up looking at her and Emma [[MaleGaze chest first]], then orders Lau to ready their best tea and snacks for their guests, in notable contrast to his attitude the previous day.

* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Has blonde hair and is actually very kind. Even when someone largely annoys her such as her mother, Alisa still takes the time to worry over Irina rather than be truly resentful.
* HeadTurningBeauty: Her Beauty is commented on multiple times throughout the series. She even stands out among her peers, who are no slouches in the looks department.

* MiniMecha: [[spoiler:Eventually obtains a 3rd generation Orbal Gear built through cooperation between the Reinford Group, ZCF, and Epstein Foundation. This allows her to take on both an amnesiac Crow as Azure Siegfried and Sharon. In ''Cold Steel IV'', she can use it as a summon attack similar to Rean summoning Valimar.]]

* {{Ojou}}: Basically this as Alisa's the heiress to the largest heavy industrial company on Zemuria. Sharon and a couple of employees have referred to her with the terms "milady" or "Lady Alisa". She's even richer than her actual noble classmates and schoolmates at Thors, which is part of the reason why Alisa was hesitant to reveal her identity at first.

* SuckingInLines: She does this in her S-Craft Rosetta Arrow and Judgment Arrow in ''Cold Steel I'' and Jibreel Arrow in ''Cold Steel III''.

* BigDamnKiss: [[spoiler:Gets two with Rean in ''Cold Steel IV''. The first during her first bonding event, where she pushes him against a cave wall and kisses him to break him out of his fatalistic thoughts and the second time during her final bond event.]]

* CharacterDevelopment: In the beginning of the first game, he outright can't stand nobles, but steady interaction with Class VII makes him realize that not all nobles are as stuck-up as he believed them to be and that all of them have their HiddenDepths to some degree. By the second game, he's a far more level-headed and mature person who's generally more tolerable of the upper class and his relationship with Jusis is now something of a heated but more friendly rivalry.

* ChessMotifs: Actualized in his second S-Craft, when he summons [[RuleOfCool enormous chess pieces]] to aid him in attacking the enemy.

* {{Fanboy}}: Of Misty and Vita who are actually the same person. He's shocked that he never considered the possibility that they're both the same person.

It goes even further in ''Cold Steel III'' where Machias has started using Orbal pistols in his S-Craft in addition to his shotgun and even works a similar job of being an investigator for a government based organization.

* MultiRangedMaster: Starts out with a [[ShotgunsAreJustBetter shotgun,]] and later gets a {{BFG}} for his later Crafts and S-Crafts. For his "Justice Bullet" S-CRAFT in the third game he also [[GunsAkimbo dual-wields a pair of pistols]] [[MoreDakka and submachine guns.]]

* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: In Cold Steel IV [[spoiler:Machias manages to break Arthur (Machias's cousin former fiancee) out of the curse by invoking this trope. Notable because he manages to do so without relying on magic or physically fighting him order to do so.]]

After graduating from Thors, she and Celine end up going on a journey to learn more about the Divine Knights and to find Vita Clotilde. In ''Cold Steel III'' she returns to help Rean and her classmates once more.

* BoobsOfSteel: Inverted; she has the largest chest of the female students in Class VII, with only Instructor Sara surpassing her, and is a magical powerhouse instead of a physical one. Fie lampshades this on several occasions when Emma gets visibly tired while climbing up ladders. During one of Emma's bonding events, [[MaleGaze Rean even catches himself staring.]]

* NoSell: Her Brave Order, "Zodiac Force", gives all party members a barrier where not only are they immune to elemental magic, it also heals them for a set number of turns.

* ZettaiRyouiki: Grade A, only in ''Cold Steel I''

* SharpDressedMan: Wears a rather classy suit ensemble befitting his status from the second game onwards.
* ShipTease: Gets ''a ton'' with Millium in ''Cold Steel III'' & ''IV''. See her entry and the game's page for ShipTease.

* BrilliantButLazy: Fie is shown to be extremely adept at nearly any task she applies herself to (and the fact that she's two years younger than the rest of Class VII only makes that feat more impressive), but she has a strong apathetic streak, to the point where most of her time outside of class is spent napping. She's the weakest member of the class academically speaking (72nd in her year out of 100 when only one other member of her class wasn't in in the top 20, and Elliot was 36th), but that's still far from last place and again, she's two years younger than everyone else in her academic year.

* CharacterDevelopment: Initially somewhat stoic and unmotivated, Fie steadily grows into a more friendlier and determined individual over the course of the games. Xeno and Leonidas even comment on how she had grown during the Finale of ''Cold Steel II''.

A young girl encountered by Rean and his group during their field study at the Nord Highlands. She is accompanied by a robot companion she calls Airgetlam. She is a member of the Intelligence Division and a member of the Ironbloods together with Claire and Lechter. Strings are pulled to get her into Class VII, where she exhausts everyone with her boundless energy. She ends up joining the Cooking Club during her stay at Thors.

* AffectionateNickname: She calls Airgetlam "Ga-chan/Lammy," depending on the script. She later gives Claiomh Solais a similar name ("Ku-chan/Sammy"), but Altina is not having it. Speaking of Altina, Millium decides to call her "A-chan."

* DesignerBabies: Never outright stated during the main plot of either game, but her final bonding event and the English version-exclusive images during the (first) ending of ''Cold Steel II'' seem to confirm this. In the epilogue, Millium hints at this even farther, saying that "according to her specs", she's almost full grown and is going to be a PintSizedPowerhouse forever. [[spoiler:Even at the end of the GoldenEnding of ''Cold Steel IV'', her new body is still small.]]

* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Like a [[VideoGame/ZeroNoKiseki certain other character]], she's terrified of ghosts and asks Jusis not to say the 'G-word' around her. Also as per the previous character, her fear is kind of justified by the fact that ghosts in this setting A) Exist and B) Can kill you.

* AbsoluteCleavage: Her outfit in the third game shows her's off.

* ChristmasCake: Over 25 years old (27 by ''III'') and still single.
** In Cold Steel III she points out the absurdity of considering herself old at the age of 27.

* TheFriendsWhoNeverHang: Much like Old Class VII, players will rarely see the members of New Class VII hanging out with each other outside of story related scenes. Even more apparent when they're grouped together with members of Old Class VII.
* GetAHoldOfYourselfMan: [[spoiler:Them towards Rean in ''Cold Steel IV'' after he loses himself to the Curse of Erebonia and starts rampaging. Thanks to the ARCUS II connecting them and everyone else with Rean's heart, they succeed.]]
* MilitaryMaverick: Compared to Old Class VII who were much more disciplined during their time as students, New Class VII is much more insubordinate in contrast. They disobeyed direct orders from Rean to stay put during their field exercises in Saint-Arkh and even took unauthorized command of a Panzer Soldat in the process, and during the field exercises in Ordis they, without any authorization, sneak out at night to tail Rean on his investigation into Raquel. Rean outright says their antics during the first chapter alone would warrant a court-martial if they were actual soldiers, and their at times less than irreverent attitude towards his authority definitely would be grounds for discipline in a more serious military setting.

* TeacherStudentRomance: Should the player choose to pursue Juna, Altina, or Musse in ''Cold Steel IV''. While Rean isn't going to get into a relationship with any of them at the moment, he is willing to revisit the topic if they're still interested when they're older and no longer his students.

A girl from Crossbell who aspired to become a Crossbell Police Agent, yet was unable to after Crossbell was annexed by Erebonia in S. 1205. Instead, she enrolls at Thors Branch Campus in Leeves and becomes a member of Class VII after receiving a invitation from Claire, which she also uses as a chance to learn more about the country that invaded her homeland.

* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: While she wasn't quite fond of Erebonians at first, she held great respect for Claire since the latter stepped in on her behalf to restore her academic credits at the police academy after the Jerkass Army Officer in charge revoked all her credits after she protested against Lloyd and the other members of the SSS being branded as criminals.

* BreakMeter: Her starting Master Quartz and her Brave Order "Sledgehammer" are all about breaking the break gauge faster.

* CombinationAttack: Does this in a cutscene with Kurt in ''Cold Steel IV'' [[spoiler:while liberating Eryn Village via Avon Hill]], combining her Brave Smash with his Twilit Blades similar to how Rean and Crow do the finishing move for their combo attack in their Divine Knights.
* CoolBigSis: Towards her siblings Ken and Nana, and towards [[TokenMiniMoe Altina]].

* DashAttack: One of her crafts shown in the trailer is Brave Smash, the same name as Lloyd's.
* DecoyProtagonist: [[spoiler:She assumes the protagonist role throughout all of act 1 in ''Cold Steel IV'' complete with her own set of heroic speeches. Once Rean comes back, she's back to being his support along with the rest of Old and New Class VII.]]

* FantasticRacism: Downplayed. She's somewhat prejudiced against Erebonians thanks to the annexation of Crossbell by the Empire, but admits that she doesn't really hate them either. She even gets over it rather quickly once she befriends Kurt, Altina, and her other schoolmates at Thors II. She's also quite respectful towards Claire who was responsible for recommending Juna to Thors II in the first place.

* GenkiGirl: She has a very lively personality. Unfortunately, this also means that she can get worked up easily such as with Erebonian occupation of Crossbell.

* TheHeart: Frequently serves as this to the group whenever the situation calls for it. Best exemplified during Chapter 1 when Kurt is upset about being left behind by Rean.

* LettingHerHairDown: [[https://i.imgur.com/PjqpjHk.jpg Her swimsuit DLC costume]] has her hair unwrapped and reaches all the way to her shoulders. [[spoiler:She also briefly has her hair down during Olivert and Schera's wedding in the true ending of ''Cold Steel IV''. It doesn't last long as she eventually has Alisa tie it back once more.]]
* LimitBreak: Her S-Craft in ''Cold Steel III'' is "Excel Breaker", with ''IV'' adding in "Valiant Charge". When piloting the Drakken II, her finishing move is "Brave Rush" whilst her union attack is "Excel Burst."

* OpenMouthInsertFoot: Refers to Crown Prince Cedric as a spoilt brat in Chapter 2...right in front of his older siblings who are both also royalty. Even Altina admitted it was tactless. Thankfully, Olivert and Alfin took it in stride, mostly because her account of [[RoyalBrat Cedric's]] [[TookALevelInJerkass character]] wasn't wrong.

* RageBreakingPoint: Throughout Chapter 2, she's shown getting extremely irritated at the many changes Crossbell has undergone under Imperial rule. When Campanella brings out an Aion, she explodes. [[spoiler: Unfortunately, its soon cut down short when Campanella informs her of how her heroes in the SSS have been hamstrung and imprisoned in Mishelam under Imperial decree so that they can't interfere with Erebonia's policies.]]
* RammingAlwaysWorks: One of her crafts and her second S-Craft, Gallant Charge, has her ramming at her enemies at full speed.

* ChickMagnet: The female students of the Thors Branch Campus all consider Kurt to be quite attractive. He also has at least three girls who have no issues coming all the way from the capital to Leeves just to see him, much to his discomfort.

* ShipTease: In ''Cold Steel IV'' he gets teased with [[VideoGame/ZeroNoKiseki Sully]] of all people.
* ShockAndAwe: His S-Craft incorporates lightning, an element commonly grouped with wind in this franchise.

* SwordBeam: The lightning in his S-Craft comes from the swing of his swords. His "Twin Carver/Twilit Blades" Craft also has this, featuring black and white energy coming from both of his swords (inflicting Arte damage).

* AffectionateNickname: In the original Japanese script she's constantly referred to as "A-chan" and "Al" by Millium and Juna respectively. In the English Dub, she's referred to "Tilly" (by Millium) and "Allie" (by Juna) instead.

* EvilCounterpart: Though evil is stretching it, Altina basically serves as one towards Millium in ''Cold Steel II''. Both use giant floating dolls as weapons and are the complete opposites in terms of character, something their color schemes also represent. Altina, being the Black Rabbit, is stoic and reserved while Millium, being the White Rabbit, is jovial and childish to a fault.

* BloodKnight: Dude really loves to wreak some havoc, even at school. In chapter 3, he brings out his weapon, points it at [[AuthorityEqualsAsskicking Bardias]] and wants to fight the guy.

* CharacterDevelopment: He is initially a very rude young man that doesn't give enough respect to his companions, and only a selected few people can see his kindness deep inside. By the end of ''Cold Steel IV'', [[spoiler:thanks to the efforts of his friends and being free of the curse of Erebonia, he is more sincere with the friendship and attachment he feels towards his classmates and Instructor and has actual, true smiles, more often - as it can be seen in the wedding photo right by the end of the game.]]

It compensates for this through its Awakener's own natural skill, and with Rean, his ability to create special combat links with the members of Class VII who are considered secondary contractors thanks to having aided Rean during his trial and their general close bond with him. This allows them, and later New Class VII as well, to give aid to Rean and Valimar through a variety of special artes that can be used for both offense and support.
