Since her default Master Quartz buffs her DEF even further and grants Craft Guard and Magic Reflection (and she has a Craft that can grant the first effect at will) she can ''usually'' stay out of trouble as long as you're careful. Loading her up with Quartz and accessories to bring her HP to a more reasonable level can ameliorate this.
