* {{Hypocrite}}: Gets called out on being one. When Owen told Abby his plans to find a group of Fireflies, Abby accused him of being stuck in the past. Owen's initial response was a rather subtle DeathGlare, prompting her to sarcastically apologize for "growing up". [[spoiler:He responded by brutally calling her out on killing Joel in a very sadistic fashion because she could not let go of her father's death and spending five years before that obsessing over getting revenge and doing so with very little care for the well-being of her friends]]. Abby's only response was to grapple Owen.

Abby's only response was to grapple Owen.Owen.
**Despite her constant emphasis on loyalty and her criticism of Owen for deserting, Abby's own loyalty seems questionable, [[spoiler:as she betrays the W.L.F., the faction that provided refuge for her group when they had nowhere else to turn, for a boy she hardly knows. While it is true that the Wolves are not saints, Abby's willingness to switch sides so easily reveals her tendency to prioritize her own interests above all else.]]
**Her discussion on gratitude lacks sincerity, given that she took [[spoiler:Joel's]] life even after he and his brother saved her.

*PlotArmor: When it comes to escaping death, Abby seems to be more fortunate than Joel and Ellie.
** Three times she finds herself in near-death situations, and each time she is rescued by the most unexpected individuals. [[spoiler:First by Joel and Tommy, the people she is searching for. Second by Lev and Yara, recent deserters of the faction she is up against. Lastly by Ellie, who ironically intended to kill her but ends up sparing her in the end.]]
** She and Lev tumble off the bridge connecting building and end up landing in an indoor pool. Despite the significant drop from multiple stories above and [[SoftWater the pool's depth barely reaches 10 feet high]], both of them manage to survive.
**[[spoiler:During the sniper encounter on Day 3, Abby and Manny try to outflank him by entering the room he is in through a side door that had been barricaded from the other side. Little do they know, this is a trap set by the sniper to catch them off guard. Though Manny is killed, Abby miraculously managed to push the door open wide enough for her to slip through, despite having given up just moments before. What's more fortunate is that the sniper could have shoot her first instead of Manny.]]

* WouldHurtAChild: [[spoiler:After killing Jesse and almost killing Tommy, she eagerly tries to kill Dina and her unborn child even after Ellie told her that Dina was pregnant, seeking revenge after Ellie killed the pregnant Mel ([[DramaticIrony unaware that Ellie didn't know about Mel's pregnancy until it was too late]]). The only thing that stops Abby is Lev talking her down.]]

**Based on her discussion with Manny and Mel, it seemed that Abby had no issues with killing Seraphite children in the past. However, her perspective shifts after meeting Yara and Lev.

* Hypocrite: His claim of killing Ellie and Tommy as witnesses to Joel's murder would make him and his crew no better than Joel comes off pretty flat after they already forced Ellie down helplessly screaming as she watched her father figure get beaten to death.
