* TalkingIsAFreeAction: Subverted. Crimson had prepared this entire [[EvilGloating villain monologue]] about the reign of vampires finally coming and nothing could stop them from enslaving all mankind but unlike the other times when Shadow lets his enemies talk big-game, he kept spamming the skip button for this NPC's dialogue since he was really eager to fight his master Elizabeth the vampire queen. As such, Crimson couldn't even edge in a word without being slashed down and eventually turned into mincemeat since Shadow couldn't give him the time of night to even care.

* BullyingADragon: Subverted at first. After losing to Crimson, he made sure not to mess with people from Outlaw City, especially the three Monarchs. Played straight when he thought Shadow was someone he could beat, only to pay the price for his foolishness with his life.
