* Kevlard: Sumo Cat's incredibly fat body gives it more base health than Tank Cat.

* FragileSpeedster: Bahamut's true form, Awakened Bahamut Cat, retains his low health but now moves incredibly fast, can deal even more damage, and attacks way faster. The same goes for Idi:N2, who can speed into battle to deliver crippling blows, but will die to virtually any heavy resistance.
* GlassCannon: Most of them qualify, but especially Bahamut Cat, who is slow and has rather low health but can deal up to 85,000 damage in one hit at level 30, and up to 110,000 at level 50. Awakened Bahamut takes this even further, as he is reduced to melee range, has the same HP, and has only marginally higher attack (with the extra damage distributed into two smaller follow-up hits) - but attacks more than six times faster, giving him highest normal DPS of any cat in the game.He can be beaten out by a hypermaxed Balrog Cat with NP enhancements Although Idi:N2's raw DPS is lower than Bahamut's, it skyrockets to be even higher against Relics, at the cost of being just as squishy and having a longer backswing.

* ComMons: Duplicates of the Normal Cats can be easily obtained from spinning the regular Cat Capsule with silver tickets. This allows them to accumulate plenty of + levels, which can make up for their low base stats.

* InterfaceSpoiler: Superfeline's existence is kept secret by the game, but spoiled by the fact that, in the Cat Guide, there's one last slot for a Normal Cat past Titan Cat, even when the game stops handing them out for free in Empire of Cats.

* HitboxDissonance: The hitbox on Bahamut Cat's explosion doesn't change between the first and second forms, even though the second form makes a much bigger explosion.

to:

* VanillaUnit: Valkyrie Cat and Bahamut Cat have no abilities outside of pure stats. While Valkyrie Cat gains the ability to freeze almost all types of enemies in her true form, Awakened Bahamut doesn't gain a special ability, relying entirely on his brutally high attack power and speed.

* JokeCharacter: Gummy Cat takes a huge amount of knockbacks, preventing it from dealing any damage to most enemies, and it deals 1 HP's worth of damage when it attacks. It can't even function as a meatshield, due to its higher cost and slower recharge speed than the basic Cat. Unfortunately, its stats and attack speed are so poor that its DPS is actually lower than its first form's.

!!! In general

* BFS: Miyamoku Musashi's weapon is a sword that's almost as big as he is.
* BlessedWithSuck: The powerful psychic energy Musashi emits also overexposes any film near him. As his evolved form description mentions, his movie career is officially over.

* CarryABigStick: Hermit Cat wields a staff that he uses as a club.
* CuteAndPsycho: Red Riding Mina is an adorable nature-loving girl with a mean SlasherSmile as she blows something up with her bazooka.
* CrutchCharacter: Valkyrie has great stats considering how early you get her, with fast speed, and good health and damage. But even in her True Form, she still falls behind the many Uber Rares and even her fellow Legend Cats as a midgame unit, much less in the endgame where she's rendered pretty much completely irrelevant.

* GlowingEyesOfDoom: Whenever Dogumaru charges up and fires his laser attack, his eyes glow red.
* GoodIsNotSoft: Naala's description states that it's a "benevolent being wishing for harmony between all creatures", but it mercilessly smites evildoers with thunderbolts.
* HunterOfTheirOwnKind: As an enemy, Naala is a Relic/Behemoth enemy. However, its playable iteration is not only effective against Relics itself, its True Form gives it the Behemoth Slayer ability, which lets it hunt other Behemoths and even itself. The same goes for Luza, who in his two boss incarnations is a Relic/Behemoth and Relic/Colossus enemy, but is extremely effective against Relics while having both Behemoth Slayer and Colossus Slayer.
* AnIcePerson: Urs & Fenrir has this going for them as their lightning attacks appear to have an ice element in it as well as their wolf mount having ice crystals for the spikes on its sides and its horn.
* InfinityPlusOneSword: Downplayed; Luza is one of the strongest anti-Relic units in the game who can demolish most of the Relic-focused Uncanny Legends with relative ease, but you only unlock him after finishing all of Uncanny Legends in the first place. However, he can still be used against the higher-crown difficulties of UL, as well as the other Relic-centric stages that exist outside of UL, and as a general anti-surge and anti-Behemoth attacker.

* TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers: Superfeline was introduced much later than the other Normal Cats, so it has many differences from them. It's the only one which isn't unlocked in the first Empire of Cats chapter, the only one which doesn't target Red enemies with its special ability in its basic form, the only one with a different level cap from all the others, the only one with any piercing range on its attack, and the only one that evolves again at level 100 instead of level 30.

* TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers:
** Despite the fact that all the ubers in his set have area attacks, Musashi Miyamoto has single target attacks even though the enemies he is effective against (Black) usually come in hordes.
** Despite Kyosaka Nanaho being the Legend Rare for [=GirlsMons=], she doesn't come from that game, instead coming from Kyoto Project.

Most of them come with the Aku Shield ability, which negates damage and debuffs until it breaks, then regenerates when the enemy gets knocked back.

A unique enemy subtrait introduced in Zero Legends identifiable by the blue crystal embedded in their body, Sage enemies boast significant resistance to status effects, reducing the duration of all debuffs inflicted onto them by 70%, and halving the push distance of the Knockback effect. Their counter-ability is Sage Slayer, which increases damage against them, reduces damage taken, and allows wielders to ignore their debuff resistance. The specific values are 1.2x damage dealt and 0.5x damage taken.
